Abstract

Art education is creativity education, which aims as a medium to accommodate students' creative capacity. Therefore, all educational practices need to support the potential and uniqueness of students. The phenomenon in art learning is that the presence of artworks assessments is in the form of numbers made by educators in conventional schools. A humanistic assessment can support each student's potential and uniqueness. The artwork has its aesthetic value, and each individual has their perspective on work, as is the case with educational practices in the KBQT drawing class, which is considered to respect every potential and uniqueness of students through their educational practices. In its practice, the tutors' assessment of the KBQT drawing class avoids justifying student work. Therefore, the form of assessment carried out is a review, which is carried out at every meeting. This article is the result of research aimed at interpreting the form of assessment carried out in the KBQT drawing class as a form of assessment that supports the practice of humanistic education on works of art. Based on the results of the research that has been analyzed, it is stated that the form of assessment that takes place in the KBQT drawing class is not to justify student learning outcomes. However, the assessment is carried out to ensure that art learning has become a meaningful activity for the students for their real-life and future.

Based on the explanation above, the researchers have made the problems students experienced the main foundation of the learning process. It is supported by using the PBL model. In order to maximize the results of the PBL model combined with the Peer Tutor method, the use of this method makes the students the centre of learning. The combination of the PBL model and the Peer Tutor method aims to test if its application significantly affects the students' comprehension of musical notation reading. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach. The sampling technique used purposive samples, and the hypothesis testing employed the paired t-test formula. The results of this study are in the form of answers to the hypothesis, which are supported by the statistical test results. There is a significant difference in the average post-test score between the experimental and control groups. Based on the data, the tcount value is 13.777, while the ttable value is 1.67, with df = 58 and the significance level = 0.05. It is clear that tcount>t table, so Ho is rejected, meaning there is an average difference between the post-test and pre-test scores.

Abstract

Learning arts and culture focused on fine arts is generally carried out by practicing using wet or dry paint media. Along with the development of technology, the media for creating 2D art has developed, as an example is the presence of digital images which use gadget. SMP 2 Jati Kudus implements a digital-based learning system, by utilizing gadgets owned by students in creating 2D arts. This is an interesting phenomenon because at the same time, some schools have adopted a policy of prohibiting students from using gadgets. The ban on its usage does not apply to SMP 2 Jati Kudus, inwhich the school permits the students use gadgets as a medium for learning. Through this phenomenon, researchers see an opportunity for revolution and innovation in education through digital-based drawing learning, where most teachers of arts and culture focus on fine arts, still stuck with conventional learning. There fore this research will focus on digital-based learning activities which are implemented in SMP 2 Jati Kudus, in which the involve students of grade VII. The primary data in this study were obtained from interviews, observations, and document studies, as well as the data obtained which were then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that digital-based learning activities at SMP 2 Jati Kudus are the first step in preparing students to face learning in the future, with virtual-based learning.

Abstract

Mappalelo Cakkuriri ritual ceremonies are a culture that has become a habit of the Puttada people from the past until now. This study aims to explain the performance of the Mappalelo Cakkuriri ritual ceremony as a medium for the inheritance of values in the Puttada village community. The ritual ceremony is held every four years and, at the latest, every five years. The implementation of the ritual ceremony shows several series, including washing heirlooms, slaughtering buffalo, raising the Cakkuriri flag (Mappelelo Cakkuriri), and so on. The ceremony is a habit or culture with values that are used as guidelines for the life of the Puttada community. It is a legacy of the predecessors passed down from generation to generation as a commemoration to be grateful, even as a method to overcome disasters. Mappalelo Cakkuriri ritual ceremony has its method of inheritance which is in line with education. The inheritance pattern in the ritual performance occurs genetically/vertical transmission (upright inheritance) from parents to their children and grandchildren. It applies to both the executors and the Puttada community in general. Then the educational process occurs in the Pappuangang Puttada organization, namely non-formal and informal education; in society, it occurs informally where the people are introduced to the Mappalelo Cakkuriri ritual performance since their childhood.
