Abstract

Photography has now become a form of communication, namely non-verbal communication delivered in the form of photos or pictures. Commercial photography, namely photos that have a sale value and are made according to commercial purposes, for example for advertising of a product, for posters, or something else. Product visualization is a form of communication that can apply commercial photography. The masculine product referred in this study is a collection of brands with products commonly used by men. In this section the author describes the methods taken to produce a photographic art creation. The concept raised by the author carries a masculine theme, such as using supporting properties that are often used by men. Masculine concepts can also be maximized through lighting, color, and the technique of taking each photo. In this paper there are several applications of concepts, accessories and lighting which are formed by the methods used by the author. Some examples include methods of exploration, experimentation, creation of works to finishing. Experimentation makes the sources of exploration practicable through the materials used by the author, so that they can proceed to the stage of forming works. The stage of forming the work of the writer tries to apply the concept through exploration and experimentation. As well as the finishing stage the author tries to sort out the works that have been formed through the previous method and determines some of the best photos which will then enter the editing or editing stage. The work raised by the author is a teaching experience at the Nahdhlatul Ulama University in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The existence of the WAYANG Orang Art Studio is infuenced by people who tend to like things that are done continuously and for generations, so that eventually it becomes a habit that is still often carried out by the people of Tembbelang Village, Pekalongan Regency namely that the traditions or habits that are held in the village are still strong. Tembbelang in this modern era is to maintain the existence of the Wayang Orang art studio. The purpose of this study is to reveal the reasons for the Wayang Orang Art Studio to exist. This study uses a qualitative method that is a description of the object of research directly. Data collection techniques namely, observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The results of this study are to reveal the reasons for the continued existence of the Wayang Orang Art Studio today. The reasons in question are first, because of the holding of Wayang Orang art training amidst the influence of globalization. The training is believed to be a cornerstone for the continued existence of the studio, an awareness that the impact of existence is as a means of expression and channeling the hobbies of the supporterners of the arts themselves. Second, the have one common goals, which is to preserve the art of Wayang Orang in Tembbelang. Not only to preserve but to become a vessel for the survival of the Wayang Orang art. Nevertheless, this is a strong reason behind the existence of Wayang Orang art.

Abstract

In learning arts and culture, there are still many students who do not understand traditional dance material, especially the ‘caping ngancak’ dance. The implementation of learning implemented by teachers is still teacher-centered, teachers do not involve students enough so that there are still many students who are less active. For this reason, it is necessary to implement learning that can make students active in learning arts and culture. So a medium was used in this research, namely Augmented Reality media. The formulation of the problem in this research is "is there an influence of the use of Augmented Reality on student learning outcomes in the Caping Ngancak dance material in class V SDN 2 Kota Bakti Kab. Pidie?” This research aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality on student learning outcomes in the Caping Ngancak dance material. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach, the type of research is True Experimental with a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The research population was all class V students of SDN 2 Kota Bakti Kab. Pidie, by taking samples of students from classes VA and VB. The data collection technique uses tests in the form of pretest and posttest, while the data analysis technique uses SPSS Statistics 24 and hypothesis testing uses the independent t-test. The results of hypothesis testing with independent t-test statistics obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. So the decision making criteria are H_a accepted and H_0 rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Augmented Reality media on student learning outcomes in the Caping Ngancak dance material in class V at SDN 2 Kota Bakti Kab. Pidie.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still teachers who do not teach the traditional Ratéeb Meuseukat dance at Almuna Bireuen Kindergarten, which should be very good to teach because there is a knowledge transfer process in learning this dance. Such as character values ​​which are very important in cultivating children's Islamic character and love of their own culture in students at Kindergarten Almuna Bireuen. This research aims to foster Islamic character education in teachers which can then be implemented and transmitted to students through instilling Islamic values ​​from the dance taught. Data collection used were observation instruments, interviews and document studies. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that Almuna Bireuen Kindergarten teachers are able to dance the Rateeb Meuseukat Dance and the Islamic character values ​​from the Ratéeb Meuseukat Dance that can be given to students in the learning process at Almuna Kindergarten have been understood so that they are able to foster Islamic character education for students such as aqidah values, worship, morals and muamalah values.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the values ​​of Islamic art in the wedding ceremony process in Aceh. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation stages with the aim of examining the religious values ​​contained in society in Aceh. The results of the research show that the messages conveyed through Seumapa art include poetry, namely when the Seumapa poet recites poetry and the poetry that is sung gives advice to the people of Aceh about the rules of Allah SWT and relationships with society. From the poetry that the poet sings, the opening greeting to the ending of a similar art. Such art has values, namely aesthetic, ethical and spiritual and almost all the poetry sung by dancers gives a message, the message conveyed is related to aqidah, mumalah and morals in aesthetic, ethical and spiritual values. The aesthetic value of the seumapa has a unique poem for the bride and groom as well as a typical chant of the poem with a typical Acehnese twist which is sung in a swinging tone. The ethical values ​​contained in art, such as living in a household, must be honest with each other, not fulfilling bad desires, and also relating to people with mutual respect and always maintaining friendship. Spiritual values, especially relationships with God and humans. Regarding the relationship with Allah, namely the way of life in a household, there must be knowledge of the Islamic religion, for men and women there are procedures for choosing a potential life partner in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion or Shari'a, as a man you must be able to recite the Koran correctly and do not miss prayer. and prayers. It is hoped that this research will be able to instill these values ​​in future generations and continue to be preserved.

Abstract

Batik is a traditional textile work of art which was designated by UNESCO on 2 October 2009 as an intangible cultural heritage (representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). This research aims to analyze the characteristics of Semarang batik based on cultural ecology, especially the Semarang icon category, the case study of this research is at IKM Batik Semarang 16. This research is qualitative research, in this research uses several theoretical approaches, namely a visual analysis approach with color theory and design principles for analyzing the visual elements in batik motifs. Apart from using a visual analysis approach with color theory and design principles, a cultural ecology approach will also be discussed to discuss the cultural ecological aspects found in batik motifs, especially in the Lawang Sewu Ngawang, Mberok Bridge, Tugu Muda Kekiteran Sulur, and Blekok Srondol motifs. The cultural ecology approach is used to understand the complex relationship between humans, culture and the environment in the context of batik production and use in the city of Semarang, Central Java. The results of this research show that the characteristics of batik work from IKM Batik Semarang 16 of the five motifs have bright, dominant colors. line elements, decorations do not experience too much composition, either distortion or stylization. The cultural ecology aspect of batik by IKM Batik Semarang 16 refers to certain themes and categories and represents Semarang from a natural, physical and socio-cultural perspective.
