Abstract

Today’s the competition in the retail business is very tight, so retail businesses must pay attention to the factors that can influence the development of their business. One of the factors that must be considered is customer loyalty. The objectives of this study are to determine the effect of service quality and product marketing strategy for customer satisfaction, as well as its impact on customer loyalty at Mutiara Cahaya Supermarket Tegal Regency. This study used a quantitative descriptive to explain the causality relationship between service quality and marketing strategies on customer satisfaction, and their impact on customer loyalty. The population was all Mutiara Cahaya Supermarket customers who had a member card with a total sampling of 100 people by using a incidental sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple regression and path analysis. The results show that there is an influence of service quality and marketing strategy on customer satisfaction, there is an influence of service quality and marketing strategy on customer loyalty. The conclusion shows that there is no influence of service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, and there is an influence of marketing strategies on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The potential which is possessed by tourism object of Kreo Cave still needs to be developed again so that it becomes the major of tourism destination that is the most attractive in Semarang city. Therefore, it is needed the strategy of developing the tourism object that is really prepared carefully accompanied by a good handling by the manager of the Kreo Cave tourism object. The objectives of the research are (1) Assessing and analyzing tourist attraction strategies in the development of Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. (2) Reviewing and analyzing tourism facility strategies in the development of Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. (3) Reviewing and analyzing the accessibility strategies in developing Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. (4) Reviewing and analyzing the hospitality strategies in the development of Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. (5) Reviewing and analyzing the government support strategies in developing Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. (6) Reviewing and analyzing the tourism promotion strategies in the development of Kreo Cave Tourism Object in Semarang. The method of collecting data in this research was by using questionnaire and interview techniques. This type of the research was qualitative with SWOT analysis method. The result of descriptive qualitative shows the profile and condition of Kreo Cave Tourism Object, while the result of the calculation of SWOT analysis shows that Kreo Cave is in quadrant one, has the dominant strengths and opportunities that have the potential to be developed.

Abstract

Higher education is held to prepare students to have the academic and professional ability to improve quality. The aims of this study is to analyze the effect of socioeconomic of family and future orientation toward the interest in continuing to the college through the self-motivation. The study used a survey research design and cross section study. The population was 5,247 students, with proportional cluster random sampling technique obtained by the sample size of 372 students. The technique of data collection by using questionnaires. Data analysis used path test and sobel test. The results shows that there is a direct effect of socioeconomic of family towards the interest to the college is 9.5% and a total influence of socioeconomic towards interest to the college through self- motivation is 12.3%, the direct effect on future orientation towards the interest to the collegeis 10% and total effect on future orientation towards the interest to the college through self-motivation is 25.8%. The total effect is greater than the direct effect, so there is a mediation between the socioeconomic of family and future orientation towards the interest to the college.

Abstract

The high growth of Islamic Credit and Financing Union (KSPPS) in Indonesia encounters several problems, and one of which is financial performance. This study attempts to uncover the factors influencing financial performance of Islamic Credit and Financing Union (KSPPS) in Salatiga using Pecking Order Theory (POT) inits analysis. POT explains how company’s preference uses fund in doing their operational activity. The expected factors influencingIslamic Credit and Financing Union (KSPPS)’s financial performance are Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Finance (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operating Expenses-Operating Income (OEOI), and capital structure. The analysis methodology of this study is multiple panel regression employing software Eviews 9. The result of regression test shows that OEOI affects partially towards Return on Asset (ROA). In contrast, the other factors such as CAR, NPF, and capital structure do not have any significant influence towards ROA. The differencesbetween this study and previous studies are on the city-scopefinancial data of Islamic Credit and Financing Union (KSPPS) and the use of POT implemented to explain financial performance.

Abstract

Financial accounting information systems are needed in the presentation of financial statements for the public. Besides that, school management requires accounting information in relation to decision making for organizational purposes, so managerial of accounting information system is needed. One important aspect of accounting that aims to produce financial reporting in an organization is the behavior of financial report managers which become studies of behavioral accounting. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitude toward using on behavioral intention to use accounting information systems by school financial managers. This study also aims to determine the extent of the acceptance of accounting information systems by school financial managers in the preparation of financial statements. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with path analysis techniques. The number of population and sample in this study were 50 respondents from an educational foundation in the city of Semarang which consisted of treasurers and the finance department of the Marsudirini Foundation school. The results obtained from this study are the significant influence of perceived ease of use to perceived usefulness; perceived usefulness to attitude toward using; perceived ease of use to attitude toward using; perceived ease of use to behavioral intention to use; and attitude to using toward behavioral intention to use. The rejected hypothesis is the influence of perceived usefulness tobehavioral intention to use.

Abstract

The rapid advance of global economy and the increasing diversity financial product and service types force every individuals to have a good financial literacy in order to achieve prosperous live. The purpose of this study is to identify student engagement contributions as a form of learning process for the development of financial literacy. Academic challenges, active learning, student-staff interaction, enriching education experiences, and supportive learning environments are used to measure student engagement in financial learning (SEFL). While financial knowledge, financial attitudes and financial behavior are used to measure financial literacy (FL). This study uses quantitative assessors. The population is 241 students while the sample size is 150 students. The number of samples is determined by using the Slovin formula, while the sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, canonical correlation and regression. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis show that all SEFL factors possitive correlate with FL factors. Then the results of canonical correlation analysis show that the covariate of SEFL factors has a correlation with the canonical variable (FL). Furthermore, the results of the regression test (t-test) show that most of the SEFL factors have a significant contribution in developing students’ financial literacy.

Abstract

Implementation of PSAK No. 45 is the standard for preparing financial statements for non-profit organizations. This study aims to determine the implementation of PSAK No. 45 on educational foundations in the city of Semarang by using Theory of Planned Behavior. The results of the study show that the effect of the belief variable on attitudes towards the implementation of PSAK No. 45, subjective norms, perceptions of behavior control, intention to implement PSAK No. 45 is a direct relationship that has a significant effect. the results of research on the intention of implementing PSAK No. 45 has a significant effect on the implementation behavior of PSAK No. 45. Effect of confidence in the implementation behavior of PSAK No. 45, the attitude of implementing PSAK No. 45, subjective norms and perceptions of behavioral control over intention is a direct relationship but the effect is not significant. And the influence of belief through attitudes towards the implementation of PSAK No. 45, perception of behavioral control on the intention to implement PSAK No. 45 which is an indirect relationship has no significant effect. Abstract

The country's savings growth rate is important to be improved so as to encourage economic growth of a nation. For this reason, supports from various parties are needed to improve people's behavior in saving. This study aims to analyze and identify the saving behavior of students of State Vocational Schools in Tegal Regency. Financial literacy, family environment, attitude to behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and behavioral intentions are used to measure students' saving behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study is 1,520 students and the sample is 317 students. The number of samples is determined using the Slovin formula, while the sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of path analysis show financial literacy and family environment directly influence attitude behavior, subjective norms, behavioral control, and behavioral intention. However, the family environment does not directly affect the behavioral intention. financial literacy and family environment have an Indirect influence on saving behavior through subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and behavioral intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how the role of teacher’s professional attitude on mediating the effect of GPG principles implementation and school climate on economic teacher’s performance of SHS/Islamic SHS in Purbalingga Regency. The approach that used on this research is a quantitative approach with survey method. The population in this research are all of senior high school / islamic senior high school economic teachers in Purbalingga District, on amount 30 teachers with 30 sample. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance by using SmartPLS version 2.0.m3 software. The results of this research showed that: (1) the direct effect on the economic teacher’s performance is only influenced by school climate with contribution value of 57.2%; (2) the direct effect on the teacher's professional attitude is only influenced by GPG principles implementation with contribution value of 84.8%; (3) the teacher's professional attitude is not proven mediating the influence of GPG principles implementation and school climate on economic teacher’s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to arrange an empowerment model for farmers of prime food crops in order to anticipate climate change in Central Java. The data used are primary ones collected through in-depth interviews with key persons and via Focus Group Discussion (FGD), which later went through Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). To formulate an empowerment model for farmers of prime food crops, reconstructions of existing field findings were performed based on FGD results and in-depth interviews with key persons and several related institutions. The results of research showed that in order to anticipate climate change, there are three main priorities that should be taken. They are: (1) to conduct anticipations towards climate change; (2) to deliver aids in production technology in accordance with the ocurrence of climate change and (3) to deliver information regarding planting time and types of crop.
