Abstract

 Effective task management is crucial in today’s fast-paced world, where productivity and organization are essential. Addressing this need, MyList is designed as a mobile-based to-do list application that simplifies and optimizes task organization for users. The application features task creation, editing, deletion, categorization, prioritization, reminders, and progress tracking through visual statistics, fostering motivation and efficiency. Developed using the Waterfall methodology, the design process includes requirement analysis, system design, and user interface mockups. The application employs Android Studio, Java programming, and MySQL database management to ensure compatibility, reliability, and efficiency across Android platforms. MyList is lightweight, accessible, and tailored to diverse audiences, including students and professionals seeking better time management. Its user-friendly interface prioritizes simplicity and functionality, making it a practical solution for daily task management. While this study focuses on the design phase, the proposed application demonstrates significant potential for implementation and real-world testing. The anticipated outcomes include improved productivity, enhanced time management, and seamless task organization for users. This research serves as a foundation for developing innovative and user-centric task management solutions, encouraging future advancements and practical applications in this domain.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven an increased demand for competent software developers aligned with project specifications, making the selection process a strategic challenge for organizations. However, manual selection is often subjective, time-consuming, and prone to errors. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method. WASPAS was chosen for its ability to integrate the strengths of the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) and Weighted Product Model (WPM) to produce decisions based on criteria weights and alternative performance. The system is designed as a web-based application to provide ease of access and usability, featuring key functionalities such as data management for criteria, alternatives, and values, as well as calculation and result presentation using the WASPAS method. The case study results indicate that Mochammad Rizal (A3) is the best alternative with the highest score of 0.8904, followed by Yosua Surojo (A4) with a score of 0.8718. Tommy Pratama (A2) ranks third with a score of 0.7101, while Gigih Prayitno (A1) occupies the last position with a score of 0.6713. System testing using the black-box testing method ensures that all features function according to the designed specifications. This study contributes a systematic solution to simplify the software developer selection process while reducing subjective bias in decision-making.

Abstract

Heart disease remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide, necessitating innovative approaches to improve diagnosis and management. This study aims to enhance the prediction of heart disease risk using machine learning, particularly the Decision Tree algorithm. A publicly available dataset containing 303 entries with 14 features related to heart disease risk factors, such as age, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and electrocardiogram results, was utilized. The data underwent preprocessing steps, including normalization, handling outliers, and standardization, to ensure optimal model performance. The Decision Tree algorithm was trained on 80% of the dataset and evaluated on the remaining 20%. The model achieved an accuracy of 80%, with a balanced F1-score of 0.82, demonstrating its effectiveness in predicting heart disease risk. Feature importance analysis revealed that cholesterol levels, age, and resting blood pressure were the most influential predictors. The Decision Tree's interpretability provides valuable insights for medical practitioners, enabling more accurate and transparent risk assessments. This study highlights the potential of machine learning in medical diagnostics, particularly in identifying high-risk individuals for early intervention and better patient outcomes.

Abstract

Security Disclosure has become an important program in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in software systems across various organizations and institutions by providing an opportunity for system testing through collaboration with external parties. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of security disclosure through the Security Disclosure program on Platform XYZ, with a focus on Fault Injection techniques through parameter manipulation to discover IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) vulnerabilities. The research begins by explaining the importance of the Security Disclosure program in the context of software security and system improvement. Furthermore, this study conducts testing on Fault Injection techniques through parameter manipulation, which is used to search for IDOR vulnerabilities on Platform XYZ. By manipulating input parameters, researchers can test the system by inducing unexpected behavior that can reveal sensitive information or grant unauthorized access to permissions. Case studies and real-world examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of Fault Injection techniques in enhancing system security. The research findings have shown a high level of IDOR vulnerability with an impact on thousands of users. This research also highlights the importance of broader understanding of software security and security awareness for organizations and individual users. It is expected that this research will contribute to improving understanding of security disclosure and Fault Injection techniques through parameter manipulation, as well as promoting higher security awareness in protecting software systems from attacks and safeguarding sensitive user data on Platform XYZ.

Abstract

The main issue addressed in this research is identifying the factors that influence customer satisfaction and understanding how well a product meets customer expectations. A questionnaire was distributed to collect data from consumers, and the CSI method was applied to assess the overall satisfaction level based on key aspects such as Product quality, Product durability, Price, Service, Purchasing process and Shipping process. The results showed that most consumers were satisfied with the product, with quality and after-sales service being the most significant factors contributing to overall satisfaction. However, areas such as pricing and ease of use were identified as needing improvement. The study also found that the CSI method provides a reliable means of measuring customer satisfaction and offers valuable insights into areas for product improvement. Based on the findings, the research suggests focusing on enhancing after-sales service and adjusting pricing strategies to better meet consumer expectations. Further research could expand the study to include external factors such as market competition and industry trends, while incorporating advanced analytical methods like regression analysis or machine learning for more in-depth predictions of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the global health issues with a continuously increasing prevalence. Its high prevalence significantly impacts economic burdens and healthcare systems, as it often leads to severe complications such as cardiovascular diseases and kidney failure. Therefore, early prediction and detection of diabetes mellitus are crucial in mitigating its adverse effects. Data mining and machine learning technologies offer innovative solutions for processing complex medical data, providing deeper insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This study aims to develop a diabetes mellitus prediction model using the Stochastic Gradient Boosting (SGB) algorithm. The model utilizes a dataset comprising clinical variables such as glucose levels, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and genetic history to identify diabetes risk. The results indicate that the developed prediction model demonstrates high performance across various dataset splitting ratios: 70:30, 80:20, and 90:10. The model achieved the highest accuracy of 95.50% at the 70:30 ratio, with an AUC (Area Under the Curve) value of 0.9862, showcasing its ability to effectively differentiate between positive (diabetes) and negative (non-diabetes) classes. At the 80:20 and 90:10 ratios, the model achieved accuracies of 92.75% and 92.31%, with AUC values of 0.9767 and 0.9777, respectively, indicating consistent performance. The model’s high accuracy is attributed to the iterative boosting approach in the SGB algorithm, which adaptively corrects prediction errors at each iteration. Additionally, regulatory mechanisms such as learning rate and subsampling help prevent overfitting, making the algorithm effective for datasets with complex patterns.

Abstract

Cineplex 21 Group yang dimiliki oleh PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk adalah perusahaan yang berfokus pada industri bioskop di Indonesia dan juga menjadi pelopor jaringan Cineplex di negara ini. Sejak 2015, perusahaan ini telah melakukan digitalisasi pada sistem penjualan tiket dengan meluncurkan aplikasi M-Tix. Aplikasi tersebut telah diunduh lebih dari 10 juta kali dan mendapatkan rating 3,8 pada September 2023. Untuk menilai kualitas pengalaman dan tingkat keterlibatan pengguna, pengukuran yang akurat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengalaman dan keterlibatan pengguna, serta untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat korelasi antara keduanya. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah User Experience Questionnaire Plus (UEQ+) dan User Engagement Scale (UES) untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman dan keterlibatan pengguna aplikasi M-Tix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi M-Tix mendapatkan evaluasi positif secara keseluruhan terkait pengalaman pengguna dan juga menunjukkan tingkat keterlibatan pengguna yang baik. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan yang bervariasi antara pengalaman pengguna dan tingkat keterlibatan mereka, yang mengindikasikan adanya saling pengaruh antara keduanya. Temuan ini memberikan informasi yang berguna untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut aplikasi tersebut, guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan bagi penggunanya.

Abstract

Facing extraordinary online-based trade in the current era requires information systems and information technology that are very adequate for the needs of suppliers, sellers or buyers. The same thing is faced by Chemistry Merch which operates in the online trading sector. Maximizing this technology is intended to facilitate interaction between companies and consumers. Apart from that, the product is widely known by the wider community and even throughout the world. Utilization of software in the form of PHP, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Xampp and supported by the Codeigniter framework, UML and use case diagrams further clarifies procedures for selling and disseminating information in web form. The expected results start from design to input analysis, process analysis, output analysis and information technology architecture needs analysis, namely in the form of a web that contains the complete needs of consumers.

Abstract

Communication with people with hearing and speech disabilities is often challenging. Sign language is the primary tool that helps them convey thoughts and feelings, but it is often difficult for those who are not used to it to understand. This project aims to develop a machine learning model to recognize hand gestures in spelling fingers using American Sign Language (ASL). The model uses image data and Computer Vision techniques to train a deep learning algorithm that can recognize signals in real-time through a camera. The system utilizes deep neural networks that work through layers of nodes to process, classify, and predict cues accurately.

Abstract

This study aims to develop another long-term receivables management system based on Python, using Tkinter for the GUI, and MySQL Workbench as the database administrator. The system development method employs an incremental approach with two main stages: CRUD for basic data management operations and general information presented through data visualization.  This study focuses on implementing the performance of the Quick Sort algorithm within an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) application. The results of system testing with the white-box testing method, using Python Unittest, demonstrate the consistency of functions and logic as expected. The system was tested on 108 cases of other long-term receivables information, successfully providing ease of use, data accuracy, speed of access, and improved information visualization.
