Abstract

The many aspects of the needs that exist in boarding schools such as building construction, management incentives, proper sanitation, health insurance for students and administrators and a guarantee of a healthy food menu. All of these things certainly require a large budget of funds, but with the condition of the community in the middle to lower economy, the pesantren must reduce the cost of education as little as possible. So that pesantren run independent economic businesses to support these needs, so in this study researchers tried to analyze these economic activities in an effort to improve the prosperity of Islamic boarding schools in Tulang Bawang. This research uses qualitative field methods, the purpose of the research is to know the management and role of pesantren economic activities in efforts to improve the prosperity of pesantren. The conclusion of the results showed that the five pesantrens studied had more than one business, the results of the business had a role in helping the cost of maintaining existing facilities and becoming a place of entrepreneurial practice for students but had not been able to contribute to improving the prosperity of pesantren administrators.

Abstract

The use of online learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMP N 1 Kelumbayan Barat is the focus of this study. The aim of this research is to explore the implementation of E-learning or online learning for PAI during the pandemic and assess the effectiveness of online learning media on student performance at SMP N 1 Kelumbayan Barat. The background of this study is related to the shift to online learning during the pandemic and the role of advanced technology, particularly the internet, in creating a learning medium known as e-learning or online learning. E-learning is applied in PAI instruction to facilitate the learning process for both teachers and students at SMP N 1 Kelumbayan Barat. The main issue addressed in this study is to examine the online applications used in the learning process, the teaching materials delivered by PAI teachers, and the online teaching methods utilized by instructors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a field study, and data collection involves observations, interviews, and documentation. The data is systematically reduced, presented in a detailed descriptive form, and concluded at the end of the study.

Abstract

Humans are sacred creatures who are equipped with the perfection of reason and soul because with reason and soul humans can understand themselves correctly. The existence of mental illness, will have an impact on human behavior patterns (morals). It can be said that this mental illness has an impact on the formation of despicable morals that plague human life. Departing from this background, the author takes the title The Concept of Tazkiyat al-Nafs Al- Ghazali as a Method in Moral Education. The research that the author conducted is included in the descriptive qualitative research of critical analysis. In collecting data, the author uses the documentation method, namely by collecting various books and journals. As for data analysis, the author uses content analysis techniques. The explanation of tazkiyat al-nafs with the description that the soul is likened to a glass whose perfection lies in its ability to accept the image in front of it. Likewise with the soul, if the soul is mixed with disease then the steps taken is to clean the soul with a variety of positive things, so that the soul is clean again. The methods used by the concept of tazkiyat al-nafs include mujahadah and riyadhah methods, exemplary methods, habituation methods, story methods and advice methods. While the implementation of the concept of Tazkiyat al-Nafs Al- Ghazali in moral education by using several means, namely Tauhid, Sholat, Zakat and Infaq, Fasting, Reading the Quran, Meditating, Remembering death, Mushabah and Muqorobah Zuhud and Taubat.

Abstract

One indicator of success in achieving educational goals can be seen from student learning outcomes while participating in learning and learning activities at school. Student achievement in their learning outcomes cannot be separated from the various factors that influence learning itself. Factors that affect student learning outcomes include internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are one of the factors that come from within students because in the teaching and learning process students are the main target. This research is a quantitative study with the type of ex-post facto research that aims to determine whether there is an effect of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on learning outcomes in Islamic religious education. Data were obtained by observation, questionnaire and documentation. The findings are: First; from the results of hypothesis testing it is known that the regression coefficient of emotional intelligence and learning outcomes obtained the regression equation Y = 34.174+ 0.520 X. Second, learning motivation has a significant effect on PAI learning outcomes. From the results of hypothesis testing, the equation Y = 38.067 + 0.493X is obtained. Third emotional intelligence and learning motivation together have a significant effect on learning outcomes PAI students of SMKS Mitra Bhakti Bandar Sribhawono. From the results of multiple linear regression calculations (double) obtained equation ȳ= =25.306+ 0.406X1+ 0.250 X2 . The constant 25,306 describes the amount of learning outcomes if influenced by emotional intelligence and learning motivation. The regression coefficient b1 of 0.406 describes the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes, if accompanied by emotional intelligence variables, while the regression coefficient b2 of 0.250 describes the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes if accompanied by learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of teachers' professional competencies at SMPN 5 Negeri Agung, (2) analyze students' learning outcomes, and (3) identify supporting and inhibiting factors for improvement. The method used is a phenomenological approach with the type of field research, through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results show that teachers' professional competence is still not optimal. Some teachers have not met academic qualifications and do not fully understand their duties and responsibilities. This has an impact on students' learning outcomes which are still low. Administratively, learning is running, but not functionally effective. Supporting factors include teachers' academic qualifications and professional awareness. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of facilities, teacher discipline, and lack of training and coaching. In conclusion, the implementation of teachers' professional competence at SMPN 5 Negeri Agung is not optimal and affects the low learning outcomes. Therefore, improving teacher competence is needed to support the success of students.

Abstract

One way to quickly read the Al-Qur'an is the an-Nahdliyah method, namely reading the Al-Qur'an in stages from one volume to six volumes. Researchers chose MINU Purwosari Metro Utara as a research location using the An-Nahdliyah method because the choice of Al-Qur'an teaching method was considered very important. This research is field research, using a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: Application of the An-Nahdliyah Method in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects at MINU Purwosari: Supported by teaching aids. Place in class. Recitation activities at the beginning of each Al-Qur'an Hadith subject. Grouping of students according to the volume they have achieved. Students pray first. Then the teacher reads and continues with the students imitating together accompanied by the teacher's tapping. Students come forward one by one to read ahead while using tapping. After reciting the Koran, students are guided by the teacher to get into the habit of reading short surahs or memorizing daily prayers. The methods used are demonstration, drill, question and answer and lecture methods. There are 3 evaluations, namely daily evaluation, end of volume, and end of semester.

Abstract

Implementation refers to everything that is carried out and applied according to a program designed to be executed fully in line with established regulations. The implementation of Dhuha prayer in the morning is carried out before the teaching and learning process begins, held every day without exception, performed collectively at the Babussalam Mosque located within the TK Ma’arif Al-Hidayah environment. The prayer consists of two rak’ahs performed at 07:30 AM Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The collective Dhuha prayer is initiated by classroom teachers to optimize both the quality and quantity of religious aspects while also serving as practical training for reciting in a clear, loud voice. Before performing the Dhuha prayer, students are required to recite sholawat and practice the adzan together. The habituation of Dhuha prayer discipline in early childhood requires the right stimuli. Establishing this discipline is crucial so that students can perform the Dhuha prayer properly. It is important to note that through repeated habituation of worship activities, children will become trained and find it easier to memorize prayer recitations. This research aims to describe the habituation of Dhuha prayer discipline among early childhood students in Group A and Group B at TK Ma’arif Al-Hidayah as a means of enhancing moral values. The study also explores the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of this habituation. This is a qualitative study conducted at TK Ma’arif Al-Hidayah.

Abstract

Character development in children needs to be nurtured, and once children are entrusted to a school, the responsibility for that development lies in the hands of the teachers. One effective way to address this need is by instilling religious values as a means of shaping the students’ character. However, despite the administrators’ efforts to cultivate students' personalities, observations indicate that some students still exhibit behaviors that are not in line with the expected character of a santri (Islamic boarding school student). This situation is caused by several factors, such as disregarding the dormitory rules, ignoring the guidance provided by the administrators during religious value education, being lazy in reviewing their memorization, and so forth. This study is a field research conducted at Pondok Pesantren Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa Rama Puja in East Lampung Regency, focusing on the instillation of religious values through the Tahfidzul Qur’an program. In collecting the required data, the researcher employed observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The gathered data were then compiled and analyzed to draw conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Pondok Pesantren Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa Rama Puja in East Lampung Regency plays a significant role in instilling religious values through the Tahfidzul Qur’an program. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah (Aswaja) values in the daily life of the people of Badransari Village, Punggur, Central Lampung. The method used is a qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the people of Badransari Village apply Aswaja values in social life, such as inter-religious tolerance, harmony, and moderate worship practices. The application of these values has a positive impact on social harmony and the strengthening of the community's religious identity. This study concludes that strengthening Aswaja values is important to maintain diversity and community harmony.

Abstract

Pesantren is very open to education, culture and traditions that develop in the community, which has similarities with multicultural values that prioritize respect for different cultures and cultures. This is confirmed by the diversity of different santri backgrounds in the pesantren community. Researchers found that boarding schools in Central Lampung Regency have santri consisting of various ethnic groups, such as Javanese, Sundanese, Lampung, Padang, and Palembang. This reality can cause problems if the education process is carried out in a discriminatory manner against one particular tribe. The purpose of this research is to find out the materials and methods of education as well as the implementation of multicultural education in an effort to develop the attitude of tasamuh santri in boarding schools in Central Lampung Regency. This research is a qualitative field research conducted in Islamic boarding schools in Central Lampung related to multicultural education in Islamic boarding schools in which there are various complex and dynamic problems, such as interactions between students and residents of Islamic boarding schools who are different in terms of ethnicity and culture. Researchers in collecting the necessary data as a source of information, using observation, interview and documentation techniques. From the data obtained, then collected and processed in order to draw a conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that multicultural education in Walisongo, Roudhotusholihin, and Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding Schools is carried out in the form of placing students with different ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds in the same dormitory. This condition allows santri to understand cultural and language differences, and encourages a sense of togetherness and acceptance of other santri. Multicultural-based learning materials at Walisongo, Roudhotusholihin and Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding Schools can be seen from the material about ahlussunnah wal jama'ah (Aswaja), which prioritizes the attitude of tawasuth (moderate), i`tidal (proportional), tasamuh (tolerant), and tawazun (balanced). Social interactions at Walisongo, Roudhotusholihin and Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding Schools illustrate a plural community, which is based on akhlakul karimah values.
