Abstract

It is a challenge for children and parents whose children have dual education, general formal as well as religious education. These challenges include having to manage time, energy and learning activities, in this case parents are required to have extra parenting methods for the success of their children. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns of tahfiz students with religiosity and personality. The research subjects consisted of 51 parents of students of Tahfiz Gemilang Children and Toddlers, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The research was carried out with mixed methods with quantitative survey research as the main research complemented by qualitative research to explore the findings. The main data collection tool is a questionnaire, equipped with interviews and observations. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine the relationship between parenting patterns with religiosity and personality. The results of the hypothesis test prove that there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns of tahfiz students with religiosity and personality with a value of a=54,313; religiosity variable regression coefficient 0.412; and the regression coefficient value of the personality variable is 0.593. The results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) showed that religiosity and personality contributed 25.9% to the parenting pattern of tahfiz students. This study also found that the parenting pattern of tahfiz students was dominated by the authoritarian type (66.7%). This is suspected to be the impact of most of the parents of tahfiz students with a general education background (78.43%) whose religious orientation is of an extrinsic type which tends to be formalistik and rigid. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan informasi tentang pentingnya menggunakan masker berbasis video untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri tentang covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre Eksperimen dengan One Group Design Pretest-posttest, yaitu menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 30 sampel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah warga Desa Cipaat RT 03/RW 01 yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling, artinya peneliti hanya menggunakan responden yang berusia >40 tahun karena dianggap lebih rentan terpapar covid-19. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Match Pairs yang diperoleh hasil Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0.000 <0.05, sehingga diperoleh bahwa layanan informasi tentang pentingnya menggunakan masker berbasis video efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri tentang bahaya covid- 19.

Abstract

The Tegal batik industry holds significant potential in supporting the halal economy by integrating halal lifestyle principles into its value chain. This study aims to explore the experiences of Tegal batik SMEs in implementing the halal concept, analyze the application of halal principles in the batik industry's value chain, and identify challenges faced in adopting halal practices. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenology and data triangulation, this research examines the perspectives of batik SME actors through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that adopting halal principles in the Tegal batik industry enhances product competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. However, major challenges include a lack of understanding of halal standards, the cost of certification, and difficulties in accessing global halal markets. Therefore, support from the government and relevant institutions in the form of education, training, and certification subsidies is crucial to accelerating halal lifestyle adoption in the batik industry.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk melihat bagaimana metode bercerita dalam meningkatkan sikap toleransi anak usia dini di TK Tarbiyatul Aulad Kabupaten Majalengka Tahun Ajaran 2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melihat dan menggambarkan keadaan sesungguhnya, kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 21 peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pada sikap toleransi anak seperti saat pelaksanaan metode bercerita anak mau mendengarkan dan meperhatikan guru maupun temannya yang sedang bercerita, saat jam istirahat anak mau berbagi makanannya dengan teman-temannya, pada saat berdoa anak diminta untuk menjadi pemimpin dan teman-temannya yang lain ikut memperhatikan serta berdoa dengan tertib. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dapat meningkatkan sikap toleransi anak usia dini

Abstract

This study explores the self-confidence of education professionals in using English in Cipicung District, Kuningan, West Java. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research involved 40 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via structured interviews based on four indicators: belief in one’s abilities, independent decision-making, positive self-concept, and assertiveness. The findings reveal that most participants have low speaking skills and limited vocabulary, leading to hesitation, anxiety, and a tendency toward passive communication. While listening and writing abilities were relatively stronger, speaking in English remained a major challenge. Environmental factors, lack of supportive practice opportunities, and criticism over pronunciation and word choice further affected confidence levels. Nevertheless, many participants maintain strong motivation to improve, engaging in informal strategies such as watching English films, listening to music, and using vocabulary-learning applications. The study emphasizes the need for supportive environments and consistent speaking practice to foster self-confidence and enhance English communication skills among educators and educational staff.

Abstract

Kematian adalah suatu realita yang harus diterima, tetapi tidak semua orang siap menghadapi suatu peristiwa kematian, baik orang yang akan meninggal ataupun keluarga yang akan ditinggalkan. Kehilangan (Kematian) dari salah satu orangtua akan menyisakan luka yang mendalam bagi remaja. Bahkan tidak jarang remaja mengalami shock hingga sangat terpukul. Krisis yang ditimbulkan akibat kehilangan orang tua memiliki dampak serius dalam tahapan masa perkembangan pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan 1 subjek untuk mengetahui makna kehilangan (kematian) orang tua pada remaja. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam. Kematian dari salah satu orangtua yaitu ibunya membuat remaja merasa kehilangan. Adapun kehilangan yang dirasakan adalah kehilangan perhatian dan kasih sayang, kehilangan model, kehilangan rasa aman, kehilangan teman berbagi, kehilangan keutuhan keluarga, dan kehilangan arah. Pasca kematian orangtua remaja membutuhkan figur pengganti. Adapun figur pengganti orangtua yang diperoleh remaja adalah pengasuhan dari keluarga terdekat. Figur pengganti yang berfungsi dengan baik, akan memperoleh perilaku sosial yang bertanggung jawab dan kemandirian secara emosional. Selain itu dalam dalam pengasuhan dibutuhkan bimbingan serta perlindungan pada remaja yang sedang mengalami kehampaan spirituaitas pada saat ditinggal orang tua meninggal dunia.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed guidance and counseling services, opening broader access beyond traditional face-to-face interactions and creating new opportunities for social inclusion, especially for marginalized individuals facing geographic, economic, or social barriers. This study aimed to explore how digital technology can expand access to counseling services, reduce social stigma, and enhance service effectiveness through personalization, while identifying key challenges related to data privacy and security. A qualitative case study approach was employed using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with digital counseling users, service providers, and mental health technology experts, as well as Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings revealed that digital technology improved accessibility by enabling virtual counseling sessions, reduced social stigma by allowing anonymous service access, and enhanced service personalization through data-driven algorithms. However, concerns regarding personal data protection emerged as the primary challenge. These findings imply that with robust security systems and clear regulatory frameworks, digital technology holds significant potential to create more inclusive, effective, and equitable guidance and counseling services for diverse populations.

Abstract

This study aims to reformulate Islamic boarding school education management through the integration of Islamic counseling services in responding to the challenges of globalization. Pesantren, as one of Indonesia's oldest educational institutions, is currently facing rapid social and cultural transformations driven by digitalization, global mobility, and moral disruption. To address these challenges, a mixed-method multi-phase design was employed. In the first phase, qualitative exploration through interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis was conducted to map the needs and obstacles in managing counseling services. The second phase utilized the Delphi technique involving experts in Islamic counseling, education management, and Islamic boarding school leadership to construct and validate a comprehensive management model. The third phase implemented a quasi-experimental design with pretest–posttest control groups to test the effectiveness of the model in enhancing resilience, global competence, and ethical digital behavior among santri. The results show that the reformulated management model successfully improves the role of Islamic counseling services in Islamic boarding schools by integrating policy planning, organizational structure, service delivery, and monitoring evaluation mechanisms. This model is proven effective in strengthening santri's resilience and digital ethics while reducing cases of bullying and maladaptive behavior. The study concludes that Islamic boarding school management needs to institutionalize Islamic counseling as a strategic component to ensure the sustainability of character education and competitiveness of Islamic boarding school graduates in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Teacher burnout has become a critical issue in contemporary educational systems, particularly within Islamic boarding schools (Islamic boarding schools ) where teachers hold multidimensional responsibilities as educators, spiritual mentors, and social role models. However, studies on teacher burnout in Islamic boarding school contexts remain limited, especially those integrating Islamic counseling and workplace spirituality perspectives. This study aims to analyze the conditions and determinants of teacher burnout in Islamic boarding schools and to develop an Islamic counseling-based early detection model for teacher burnout prevention. This research employed a Sequential Exploratory Mixed Method design. The qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with pesantren teachers, school leaders, Islamic counselors, and senior students to explore burnout symptoms, causal factors, and teacher wellbeing needs. The quantitative phase involved 126 Islamic boarding school teachers and utilized burnout scales, spiritual wellbeing scales, and workplace spirituality scales to validate indicators and examine the effectiveness of the proposed system. The findings revealed that emotional exhaustion, spiritual stress, administrative workload, and organizational pressure were the dominant factors contributing to teacher burnout in Islamic boarding school environments. More than half of the participants experienced moderate to high levels of burnout, particularly in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and workplace stress. Abstract

Kesehatan mental anak usia dini menjadi isu global yang semakin kompleks akibat meningkatnya digital overstimulation, perubahan pola pengasuhan keluarga, dan lemahnya sistem pendampingan psikologis pada lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis problem kesehatan mental anak pada PAUD Islam serta mengembangkan Islamic Preventive Counseling Management System (IPCMS) sebagai model manajemen konseling preventif berbasis Islam untuk mendukung keberlanjutan kesehatan mental anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan desain Sequential Exploratory Design yang dilaksanakan pada lima lembaga PAUD Islam melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dokumentasi, dan pengukuran child mental well-being scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problem dominan kesehatan mental anak meliputi gadget dependency, emotional dysregulation, social withdrawal, dan tantrum behavior. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model IPCMS yang mengintegrasikan early mental health detection, Islamic emotional guidance, spiritual habituation, parenting collaboration, dan referral system dalam satu sistem manajemen pendidikan Islam yang dilaksanakan pada lima lembaga PAUD Islam dengan melibatkan 25 guru, 60 orang tua, dan 75 anak usia 4–6 tahun. Implementasi model IPCMS terbukti efektif meningkatkan regulasi emosi, interaksi sosial, kontrol perilaku, dan spiritual attachment anak usia dini, dengan nilai signifikansi p<0,05 dan effect size tertinggi 0,88 pada dimensi spiritual attachment. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan paradigma Preventive Islamic Mental Health Management dalam kajian Islamic Counseling dan Islamic Education Management. Secara praktis, model IPCMS memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan layanan kesehatan mental berbasis pendidikan Islam yang sistematis, preventif, dan berkelanjutan pada era digital generasi Alpha.
