Abstract

This study discusses the relationship of self-concept and the social interaction of the youth of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This study uses a quantitative approach; the data collection method uses questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The study uses a population of 21 teenagers at Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. The results of the Product Moment correlation test shows there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the social interactions of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.959 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion shows the relations between self-concept and the social interaction of the youth of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This means that the higher the self concept of a child, the higher the social interaction. Conversely, if a child's self-concept is low, his/her social interaction becomes lower. Abstract

Edukasi dakwah berbasis teknologi menjadi topik penting dalam konteks pendidikan di era digital, khususnya di PP. Assyarify Lumajang. Pendekatan ini melibatkan penggunaan teknologi dalam upaya menyebarkan pesan-pesan dakwah dan nilai-nilai keagamaan kepada para siswa. Perspektif psikologi pendidikan memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana proses pembelajaran dakwah berbasis teknologi dapat memengaruhi perkembangan siswa, baik dari segi kognitif, emosional, maupun sosial. Melalui penelusuran literatur, diskusi konseptual, dan analisis data, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana digitalisasi dakwah di PP. Assyarify Lumajang, dilihat dari perspektif psikologi pendidikan, memengaruhi proses pembelajaran, interaksi sosial, dan perkembangan siswa secara holistik. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang dampak positif dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pendidikan dakwah, serta memberikan arahan untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam meningkatkan efektivitas edukasi dakwah di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of environment-based character education at Pondok Pesantren As-Syarify Lumajang and its impact on students’ ecological awareness. The research is grounded in the critical role of pesantren in shaping a generation that is not only religiously knowledgeable but also environmentally conscious. By integrating Islamic values with environmental conservation principles, As-Syarify is committed to fostering an eco-friendly learning environment. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis related to the eco-pesantren program. The research involved the pesantren leadership, educators, and students as respondents, aiming to comprehensively understand the implementation of environment-based character education and the students’ behaviors in preserving nature. The findings indicate that the eco-pesantren program effectively cultivates students’ ecological awareness, enhances environmentally friendly behaviors, and fosters a sense of responsibility for environmental preservation. Students actively participate in reforestation activities, waste management, and the prudent use of natural resources.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze structural challenges and inclusive learning practices in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in multicultural schools. SMAN Senduro was chosen as the research location because of its plural characteristics in terms of religion, culture, and ethnicity, as well as the strong influence of local wisdom of the Tengger people who uphold the value of tolerance. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) contributes significantly to the formation of students' moderate attitudes, especially in the aspects of tolerance, respect for differences in beliefs, and the ability to interact harmoniously. Moderation values are not only obtained through learning materials, but also through an inclusive school culture and teacher example. However, the formation of religious moderation is still more influenced by the social environment of the school than by the design of learning that explicitly integrates the pedagogy of moderation. The main challenges include the limitations of contextual learning media, the lack of dialogical pedagogy-based planning, and the lack of optimal integration of local culture in the design of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. This study confirms that the effectiveness of multicultural Islamic Religious Education (PAI) depends on the synergy between Islamic teachings, learning practices, and local wisdom. These findings make an empirical and theoretical contribution to the development of dialogical, contextual, and local culture-based religious learning in strengthening students' religious moderation. Abstract

Students' difficulties in understanding the concept of numeracy are often a challenge in learning mathematics at the primary education level, especially when the methods used are conventional and do not involve direct interaction. This study aims to explore the application of manipulative media as an innovative alternative in numeracy learning in 1st grade students of MI Ar-Rochmah Gesang Tempeh Lumajang. Manipulative media is expected to be able to present a more interesting and meaningful learning experience, so that students not only understand concepts in the abstract but also through physical involvement and active exploration. This research focuses on three main things: first, how the learning process of calculating with manipulative media is carried out in the classroom; second, the impact of the application of this media on the understanding of concepts and student learning outcomes; and third, the various challenges faced during the implementation of the method. These three aspects are the basis for understanding the effectiveness of manipulative media as well as evaluating the obstacles that need to be overcome to create more optimal learning. The research approach uses qualitative methods with case studies as the main design. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation, which aim to dig into the hands-on experiences of teachers and students. Data analysis was carried out through a thematic approach to identify patterns that emerge in learning interactions and their impact on students. The results of the study show that manipulative media is able to significantly increase student involvement in the learning process, create a pleasant atmosphere, and help students understand the concept of counting more easily. However, challenges such as time constraints and the need to improve teachers' competence in utilizing manipulative media were also identified. These findings offer new insights into the importance of innovation in mathematics learning, particularly in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah environment, to support the achievement of better learning outcomes.
