Abstract

The low achievement of student competencies in the Construction Project Management course, driven by the imbalance between theoretical learning and field practice, serves as the foundation of this study. Such conditions necessitate the implementation of more active, contextual, and student-centered learning methods. This study aims to analyze differences in learning outcomes, perceptions, and collaborative skills among students, while simultaneously measuring the effectiveness of applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method integrated with Collaborative Learning in the Construction Project Management course. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest) was employed, involving 15 students from the Vocational Education Program in Building Construction as the research sample. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments, Likert scale-based questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data analysis encompassed normality testing, homogeneity testing, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain calculations using SPSS. The findings revealed significant improvements across all variables: learning outcomes increased from a mean score of 67.00 to 89.00, student perceptions from 29.87 to 45.20, and collaborative skills from 34.40 to 44.47. A significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) confirmed that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Furthermore, an N-Gain score of 0.72, classified within the high category, reinforces that the Collaborative Learning-based PjBL method is highly effective in promoting student learning improvement. Accordingly, this study provides a meaningful contribution to the development of collaborative project-based learning models in vocational education, while offering practical recommendations for lecturers in designing more contextual instructional strategies aligned with industry demands.

Abstract

Kemacetan lalu lintas perkotaan di kota berkembang menghasilkan pola berkendara yang kompleks dan berpengaruh kuat terhadap emisi kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis driving cycle lokal serta dampaknya terhadap emisi kendaraan ringan di Jl. Nusantara, Makassar, sebagai representasi koridor jalan nasional perkotaan. Fokus penelitian adalah mengkuantifikasi hubungan antara perilaku kecepatan dan pembentukan polutan menggunakan karakteristik berkendara lokal.Metode penelitian mengombinasikan pengumpulan data kecepatan detik-per-detik untuk membangun driving cycle lokal dengan estimasi emisi berbasis Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES). Dinamika lalu lintas diklasifikasikan menjadi creeping, acceleration, deceleration, dan cruising, kemudian dianalisis kontribusinya terhadap emisi. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menilai hubungan antara kecepatan rata-rata dan intensitas emisi (g/km). Hasil menunjukkan creeping mendominasi hingga 60,96 % dengan pola stop-and-go yang kuat. Karbon monoksida CO menjadi polutan dominan dengan nilai maksimum 9,829 g/km, sedangkan HC <0,127 g/km dan NOx 0,047–0,230 g/km. Emisi menurun seiring peningkatan kecepatan pada rentang 5–35 km/jam dengan R² >0,8. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi driving cycle lokal dalam pengendalian emisi perkotaan.

Abstract

Keselamatan berlalu lintas merupakan isu penting bagi pelajar, mengingat kecelakaan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu penyebab kematian tertinggi di Indonesia dan diproyeksikan menjadi penyebab kematian kelima terbesar di dunia pada tahun 2030. Di Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo, tercatat puluhan kasus kecelakaan pada tahun 2023, sebagian melibatkan pelajar yang masih minim pemahaman terhadap rambu-rambu lalu lintas. Kondisi ini mendorong tim dosen Jurusan Teknik Sipil Universitas Negeri Gorontalo melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian mandiri berupa penyuluhan rambu-rambu lalu lintas bagi siswa SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan (sosialisasi interaktif, simulasi edukatif, dan pemasangan media edukasi berupa poster dan banner), serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test terhadap 14 siswa dengan 20 butir soal. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata akurasi jawaban dari 53% pada pre-test menjadi 79% pada post-test, atau meningkat 26 poin. Peningkatan pemahaman paling menonjol terjadi pada materi fungsi rambu, tindakan berkendara saat hujan, dan keberanian menegur pelanggaran lalu lintas. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode edukasi interaktif yang dipadukan dengan media visual efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran keselamatan berkendara siswa, sekaligus membuka peluang keberlanjutan program melalui kolaborasi dengan pihak sekolah dan instansi terkait.

Abstract

Geotechnical Geotechnical engineering has evolved into an increasingly diverse and multidisciplinary field, yet a comprehensive, data-driven mapping of its global publication trends, collaboration networks, and emerging research themes as an integrated discipline remains limited. This study aims to (1) analyze global publication trends and scientific developments in geotechnical engineering, (2) identify collaboration networks among countries, institutions, and authors, and (3) examine emerging topics and future research directions through bibliometric visualization. A bibliometric review was conducted on 245 Scopus-indexed publications (2016–2026), selected through a PRISMA-based screening process and analyzed using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix-R. The results show a consistent growth in publications, with a sharp acceleration during 2023–2025, driven by three dominant thematic clusters: artificial intelligence and digitalization, bio-based and sustainable geotechnics, and energy geotechnics. Collaboration network analysis reveals that China (35 publications) and the United States (33 publications) lead global output, followed by Australia, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, while developing regions, including Southeast Asia, Africa, and most of Latin America, remain underrepresented. Author-level analysis identifies Phoon, K.-K. as the most productive and influential researcher, reflecting a pronounced Matthew effect within the field. Keyword co-occurrence, overlay, and density visualizations further confirm that artificial intelligence and data-centric approaches represent the most rapidly accelerating research frontier, while sustainable geotechnics remains a stable, well-established research stream. These findings provide a comprehensive evidence base for guiding future research agendas, strengthening international collaboration, and directing geotechnical innovation toward more sustainable and technologically advanced solutions.
