Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has significantly transformed creative economies, shifting the focus of entrepreneurship from traditional models to digital platforms. Despite the growing recognition of social sustainability, many creative entrepreneurs still prioritize economic goals, leaving social responsibility as a secondary concern. This study explores how entrepreneurial management practices can integrate social sustainability in creative industries, specifically within the context of the digital age. The research aims to investigate the strategies entrepreneurs employ to balance profit generation with social responsibility, focusing on the role of digital tools in promoting sustainable practices. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative interviews with 50 entrepreneurs and a survey of 200 participants. The findings indicate that while digital platforms enable creative entrepreneurs to engage in social sustainability, a significant gap exists between the recognition of its importance and its implementation. Entrepreneurs who prioritize sustainability often face challenges, including limited resources and a lack of awareness about effective strategies. This study contributes to the literature by offering a conceptual framework for integrating social sustainability into entrepreneurial management within creative economies. It highlights the need for targeted policies and support mechanisms to foster sustainable practices in the sector. The research underscores the potential for digital tools to drive both economic success and social responsibility in creative industries.

Abstract

The increasing pressure to integrate sustainability into industrial practices has led to the need for more efficient systems optimization models that address resource constraints. Traditional optimization models in industrial engineering have focused predominantly on maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs, often overlooking the long-term environmental and social impacts. This research explores the intersection of sustainable development and systems optimization under resource limitations, aiming to develop a comprehensive framework that balances economic, environmental, and social factors in industrial processes. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining literature review, case studies from various industrial sectors, and mathematical optimization models. The results demonstrate that the integration of resource constraints into industrial systems significantly improves both operational performance and sustainability outcomes. Industries, particularly in manufacturing and logistics, showed considerable improvements in production efficiency and reductions in energy consumption and material waste. The research concludes that resource-constrained optimization models can lead to more sustainable industrial practices without compromising economic efficiency. The findings provide a valuable contribution to the field of industrial engineering, offering a framework that can be applied across diverse sectors seeking to optimize their systems within the boundaries of available resources. Future studies should extend these models to include more complex industrial sectors and explore long-term sustainability impacts.

Abstract

Background. The integration of technology in education has become increasingly essential for enhancing learning experiences, yet the successful use of technology in teaching relies heavily on teachers’ digital literacy. Digital literacy refers to the ability to use, understand, and evaluate digital tools effectively, and it has been identified as a critical factor influencing the adoption and implementation of technology in the classroom. Purpose. This study investigates the relationship between teachers’ digital literacy and their use of technology in teaching practices. The primary objective is to assess how teachers’ proficiency in digital tools impacts their incorporation of technology into the learning environment. Method. A quantitative research design was employed, using surveys to collect data from 200 teachers across various educational institutions. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data, revealing a positive correlation between digital literacy and the frequency and effectiveness of technology use in the classroom. Results. The findings suggest that teachers with higher levels of digital literacy are more likely to utilize technology in diverse and innovative ways to support student learning. Conclusion. In conclusion, enhancing teachers’ digital literacy is crucial for optimizing the integration of technology in education, thus contributing to more effective and engaging learning experiences.

Abstract

High-precision measurements of fundamental constants have an important role in modern physics and technology. Uncertainty in measurements using classical methods is a major obstacle in improving the accuracy and validation of physical theories. Quantum metrology, which makes use of the phenomenon of quantum entanglement and superposition, offers a solution to overcome these limitations. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of quantum metrology in improving the measurement accuracy of fundamental constants, such as Planck's constant and Newton's gravity. The research was conducted using an experimental design with quantum sensing-based devices, such as quantum interferometers and ion traps. The data were analyzed to compare the level of measurement uncertainty between classical methods and quantum metrology. Case studies were conducted in a microgravity environment to test the reliability of this technology under extreme conditions. The results showed that quantum metrology significantly reduced measurement uncertainty to two orders of magnitude compared to classical methods. The technology has also proven to be effective in extreme conditions, providing flexibility for applications outside of the laboratory. The conclusion of the study confirms that quantum metrology is able to overcome the limitations of classical methods and has great potential to support the development of global measurement standards in the future.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry faces significant challenges related to sustainability, including the environmental impact of drug manufacturing and the need for more efficient drug discovery processes. Organic chemistry plays a vital role in addressing these challenges by providing innovative methodologies for drug design and development. This study aims to explore the integration of organic chemistry principles in the design of sustainable pharmaceuticals. The research focuses on identifying green chemistry approaches that can enhance the efficiency and reduce the ecological footprint of drug development. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to analyze recent advancements in organic chemistry related to drug design. Case studies of successful sustainable drug development projects were examined to illustrate the practical application of these principles. Laboratory experiments were also performed to evaluate the effectiveness of green synthetic methods. Findings indicate that the application of organic chemistry in drug design can significantly reduce waste and improve the efficiency of synthesis. Successful case studies demonstrated the feasibility of using environmentally friendly reagents and processes in drug development, leading to more sustainable pharmaceutical products. This research highlights the critical role of organic chemistry in promoting sustainable pharmaceuticals. By adopting green chemistry principles, the pharmaceutical industry can not only enhance its efficiency but also contribute positively to environmental sustainability, paving the way for a more responsible approach to drug development.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the biocompatibility of natural polymer hydrogels for targeted drug delivery applications. Crosslinking modifications are applied to natural polymers such as alginate, agarose, and chitosan, with the aim of increasing cell viability and reducing cytotoxicity. The results showed that modified hydrogels had higher cell viability (85–90%) and lower cytotoxicity compared to unmodified hydrogels. In addition, these modifications do not trigger immunological or inflammatory reactions in the cells of the human body tested. This study suggests that the crosslinking technique can be an effective solution in developing more biocompatible natural polymer hydrogels, which can be used for targeted drug delivery applications. However, for broader clinical applications, further research is needed to explore other modification methods and test more types of polymers.

Abstract

The rise of creative startups has become an important phenomenon in today’s entrepreneurial landscape. These companies, often operating in industries such as design, media, technology, and entertainment, play a crucial role in driving innovation and economic growth. Business incubators have emerged as key players in supporting the development and growth of these startups by providing essential resources, mentoring, and networking opportunities. However, the specific role and impact of business incubators on creative startups remain underexplored, particularly in the context of their long-term growth and sustainability. This study aims to examine the role of business incubators in facilitating the growth of creative startup companies. It seeks to understand how incubators contribute to the development of creative industries by providing both tangible and intangible support to entrepreneurs. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both qualitative interviews with incubator managers and creative entrepreneurs and quantitative surveys to assess the impact of incubator support on startup performance. Data was collected from several business incubators in key startup hubs. The findings indicate that business incubators play a critical role in providing creative startups with access to funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and workspace. Startups that participated in incubator programs showed significantly higher rates of growth, innovation, and market readiness compared to those outside the incubators. Business incubators are essential for the success and growth of creative startups. Their support mechanisms help bridge the gap between idea development and market execution, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of creative industries.

Abstract

In response to growing global challenges such as inequality, climate change, and resource scarcity, the role of digital innovation in entrepreneurship has gained prominence. Traditional models of entrepreneurship often prioritize profit maximization, while the increasing need for sustainable development calls for a shift towards more human-centered approaches. This research explores the intersection of digital innovation and human-centered values within entrepreneurship, focusing on how these innovations can contribute to social sustainability. The study aims to examine how entrepreneurs are integrating digital technologies with social values to create businesses that not only generate economic returns but also address societal issues. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with entrepreneurs and quantitative data on business performance and social impact. The findings reveal that businesses incorporating human-centered values into their digital innovations saw enhanced market reach, operational efficiency, and social impact. This research concludes that reframing entrepreneurship to integrate social and environmental goals alongside economic objectives is critical for creating sustainable, inclusive business models. By emphasizing human-centered values, digital innovation can become a powerful driver for social sustainability.

Abstract

The discipline of Kal?m (Islamic theology) has historically served as a framework for addressing theological controversies, utilizing rational discourse to harmonize scriptural interpretation with intellectual inquiry. In the modern era, theological debates concerning issues such as faith, ethics, and the reconciliation of science and religion have intensified, necessitating renewed exploration of Kal?m as a method for resolving these challenges. This study examines the contribution of Kal?m in addressing contemporary theological controversies through rational debates and intellectual engagement. A qualitative approach was employed, combining historical analysis and textual study of classical Kal?m works with case studies of modern applications in theological discourse. Data were collected through critical analysis of primary texts and interviews with contemporary theologians and scholars actively engaging in rational debates on theological issues. The findings demonstrate that Kal?m provides a robust intellectual foundation for navigating contemporary theological controversies. Its emphasis on rational argumentation fosters constructive dialogue between traditional Islamic perspectives and modern intellectual paradigms. The study concludes that Kal?m remains a vital tool for resolving contemporary theological controversies, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity.
