Abstract

This community service through workshops and creative design training activities is carried out as a form of contribution to increasing the capacity of the community in visual communication or expressing into the visual aspects of a concept or idea. The main goal of this activity is to transfer basic knowledge about the principles of graphic design and develop the ability of participants to pour ideas into a form of visual work that is communicative and has aesthetic value. The training is conducted with a participatory approach that combines theory and practice in a balanced manner, using digital media such as CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2022 to facilitate the learning process. Participants consisted of 12th grade high school/vocational/MA students from several schools from Majalengka Regency and Cirebon Regency who had needs in developing visual content for 3 days. The results of the activity showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of participants in creating designs independently, as well as a growing awareness of the importance of creativity in supporting personal activities and in daily life. This activity also proves that graphic design training can be a means of empowering the community in facing challenges in the digital era. It is hoped that similar activities can be carried out on a sustainable basis so that the impact is wider and more evenly distributed from various circles, not only for students.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, the ability to integrate technical multimedia skills with appropriate business strategies has become essential for enhancing the competitiveness of university graduates. However, challenges related to scheduling adjustments and internal coordination often hinder the effective implementation of educational activities among students. The “Creative Business” seminar was designed to provide in-depth insights into professional portfolio development, personal branding, and content monetization strategies for Multimedia students. This community engagement initiative was conducted through an educational seminar format, featuring both industry practitioners and academics as keynote speakers. The materials presented covered creative industry workflows, client management, and target market identification. The program successfully contributed to expanding participants’ knowledge of digital technology trends while also improving event management skills among the organizing committee. Despite encountering several technical issues, such as a schedule shift from 08:00 to 09:00 WIB and a change in the second speaker, participants responded positively to the clarity and relevance of the delivered content.Overall, the seminar proved effective in broadening students’ strategic perspectives. Nevertheless, incorporating more hands-on practice sessions and improving time management would further enhance the effectiveness of similar activities in the future.

Abstract

In the world of education there are often problems how to determine the quality in an educational institution and often institutions ignore it, therefore to find out the quality of education in an institution requires clustering using the K-Means method which will be divided into 3 (three) cluster levels, namely "A" for very good quality levels, "B" for good quality levels and "C" for low education quality levels and to determine the quality of institutions We used data on the average report card of grade X, XI, XII students of all majors for one year.

Abstract

The development of mobile applications is currently very rapid. Many applications have emerged with the aim of meeting various human needs, ranging from hobbies, lifestyle, household needs, to religious aspects and others. However, because of the many applications with similar functions, competition between developers is inevitable. They compete to attract user interest by presenting superior features that differentiate their applications from competitors. In this context, sentiment analysis is one of the important methods for understanding how users perceive an application

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance technological literacy among senior high school students. The development process adopted the ADDIE Model stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), involving media experts, subject-matter experts, and a trial involving 32 tenth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and pre-test/post-test instruments. Expert evaluations showed that the interactive learning media achieved a "Highly Feasible" category (mean score 4.35 out of 5) in terms of visual design, interactivity, and content relevance. Crucially, a paired samples t-test on the technology literacy scores demonstrated a statistically significant increase in students' abilities after using the media (mean pre-test $= 68.25$; mean post-test $= 85.10; p < 0.001$). This reflects their enhanced ability to access, understand, and utilize digital tools and information more efficiently. Therefore, the PjBL-based interactive learning media is considered highly relevant and effective for use in Informatics learning at the senior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a security audit of the Academic Information System using the COBIT 5 framework in the APO13 (Manage Security) domain. The methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data obtained are then analyzed to determine the maturity level and identify gaps between current conditions and expected conditions. The results of this study indicate the capability level of the APO13 process, namely Level 0 (Incomplete Process) with status L (Largely Achieved), which means that most of the information system security management has been achieved. Level 1 (Performed Process) with a level achievement of 50% with status P (Partially Achieved), which means that information system security has been partially achieved. Furthermore, Levels 2, 3, and 5 obtained average results above 65% with status L. Keywords: COBIT 5, APO13, Information Systems Audit, Information Systems Security.
