Abstract

PkM ini bertujuan untuk melatih mahasiswa STKIP Pangeran Antasari dalam menggunakan Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk menulis karya tulis ilmiah yang berkualitas. Pelatihan penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa sebagai penulis pemula dalam menyusun karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 6 Februari 2024 dengan melibatkan 86 mahasiswa STKIP Pangeran Antasari. Melalui pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktikum virtual, peserta pelatihan diberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang konsep dasar AI dan keterampilan praktis dalam menggunakanya. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman peserta tentang struktur dan teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah. Selain itu, peserta juga memberikan umpan balik positif terhadap penggunaan AI dalam membantu proses penulisan, seperti dalam membuat kerangka tulisan, parafrase, dan perbaikan tata bahasa. Dari kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berbantuan AI efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis artikel ilmiah dan berpotensi menjadi solusi inovatif bagi penulis pemula untuk menghasilkan tulisan yang berkualitas

Abstract

Based on classroom observations, it is evident that most teachers utilize conventional methods or lecturing, resulting in a less conducive classroom atmosphere. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in classroom learning, one of which involves implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim of this research is to enhance the mathematics learning outcomes of grade 1 students at SD IT PERMATA. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, with grade 1 students at SD IT PERMATA as the subjects, focusing on their mathematics learning outcomes regarding the measurement of object lengths. The action research was conducted over two cycles, comprising initial reflection, action planning, implementation, observation/data collection, and reflection phases. Data were gathered through observations and written tests using observation sheets and descriptive questions. Descriptive analysis was employed for data analysis. The results of the action research indicate that (1) the application of the PBL model effectively improves mathematics learning outcomes in the measurement of object lengths, and (2) implementing the Problem Based Learning model shows a significant improvement in student learning outcomes in Mathematics, particularly in the measurement of object lengths in grade 1 at SD IT PERMATA. This is evident from the increase in the average score from 56.93 pre-action, with 10 students (33.33%) meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), to 70.00 in cycle I. Moreover, there was an increase in the KKM standard from 63.33% in cycle I to 86.67% in cycle II, with 26 students (86.67%) meeting the KKM standards

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh pendekatan problem solving terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas VIII di SMP Pangeran Antasari. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri atas lima kelas dengan total 127 siswa. Dua kelas dipilih secara acak sebagai sampel, yaitu kelas VIII-B sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIII-C sebagai kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes esai yang dirancang khusus untuk mengukur kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sebelum menguji hipotesis, dilakukan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dengan Shapiro-Wilk dan uji homogenitas dengan Levene untuk memastikan data berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians yang homogen. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan problem solving memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.

Abstract

This training aims to enhance teachers' understanding of the concepts of line symmetry and rotational symmetry through the creation of manipulative materials using origami. The activity is conducted as an innovative solution to help students grasp mathematical concepts in a more enjoyable and accessible way. Through a practical and interactive approach, participants are guided to create and use origami as a visual and hands-on learning tool. Using manipulative materials made from origami paper can make math learning more engaging, encouraging students to be more enthusiastic and actively involved. It fosters a fun learning environment and helps students better understand the material. Moreover, this method has proven effective in strengthening students’ understanding of geometric concepts in an enjoyable and applicable manner.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian inin adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang cara model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) membantu siswa matematika di kelas V SD Swasta Islam Setia Nurul Azmi memahami materi bangun ruang. Studi ini melibatkan 28 siswa dan 1 guru kelas, dan menggunakan pedekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan evaluasi tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, mendorong pertanyaan yang lebih berani, dan membantu siswa bekerja sama dalam diskusi kelompok. Selain itu, pemahaman siswa tentang volume dan luas permukaan balok meningkat. Namun, setiap siswa memiliki kemampuan unik. Beberapa siswa membutuhkan pendamping tambahan. Secara keseluruhan, model PBL membantu siswa sekolah dasar belajar dalam lingkungan yang lebih interaktif, bekerja sama, dan bermakna

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in solving Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV). A qualitative descriptive approach was employed with 30 grade VIII students at SMP Pangeran Antasari as research subjects. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation, with instrument reliability confirmed using Cronbach’s Alpha (0.627). The findings show that 80% of students successfully identified problems, 75% provided logical reasoning, 70% connected mathematical concepts with real-life contexts, 85% applied appropriate solution strategies, and 78% drew valid conclusions. Nevertheless, around 20% of students demonstrated only moderate performance, and 10% showed significant difficulties in reasoning and inference. These results confirm that PBL enhances student engagement, collaborative learning, and higher-order thinking, while also highlighting the need for scaffolding to strengthen reasoning and inferencing skills. This research contributes empirical evidence supporting the application of PBL in mathematics classrooms and reinforces its alignment with constructivist learning theories and 21st-century skill development.
