Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of work-life balance and employee wellbeing on the performance of Generation Z employees in the hybrid working era. Methodology: Using a quantitative design, data were gathered from 120 Gen Z employees in Jabodetabek who worked under hybrid arrangements and were analysed using multiple linear regression in SPSS 26. Results: Work-life balance (t = 5.930; p < 0.001) and employee wellbeing (t = 5.721; p < 0.001) each had a significant positive effect on performance, and their simultaneous effect was also significant (F = 62.483; p < 0.001). Findings: The model explained 50.8% of the variance in employee performance (Adjusted R² = 0.508). Novelty & Originality: This study integrates work-life balance and employee wellbeing in one model focused specifically on Gen Z employees in a post-pandemic hybrid setting. Conclusions: Organisations should strengthen hybrid working policies that support balance and wellbeing in order to improve Gen Z employee performance. Type of Paper: This paper is a research article.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT PNM Mekar Syariah in Cilodong, Depok City. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely 53 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The results of this study are Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 46.9% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (6.706> 2.008). Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient value of 36.4% and the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (5.408> 2.008). Work discipline and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a regression equation Y = 11.586 + 0.400X1 + 0.310X2. The coefficient of determination value is 59.0% while the remaining 41.0% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained the calculated F value > F table or (36.029 > 2.790).

Abstract

The decline in employee performance within government institutions is often influenced by low work motivation and discipline, as observed at the Citeureup District Office, Bogor. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance using a quantitative approach. The research employed a saturated sampling technique involving 52 respondents, while data were analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, correlation, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, contributing 45.8%, while work discipline significantly influences performance by 53.2%. Simultaneously, motivation and discipline significantly affect performance with a determination coefficient of 60.9%, while the remaining 39.1% is explained by other factors. The regression equation obtained is Y = 9.165 + 0.314X1 + 0.463X2. These results highlight that strengthening both motivation and discipline is crucial for improving employee performance. The implication is that public sector management should formulate consistent policies that enhance motivation and enforce discipline to optimize service delivery and organizational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee performance in the sewing department of PT. Osha Asia, Bogor Regency. This research uses a quantitative method with a saturated sampling technique involving 56 respondents. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results show that discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 53.1% and hypothesis testing indicating that the calculated t value is greater than the t table value (7.811 > 2.005). Work motivation also has a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 37.6% and hypothesis testing showing that the calculated t value is greater than the t table value (5.708 > 2.005). Simultaneously, discipline and work motivation significantly affect employee performance, as reflected in the regression equation Y = 10.230 + 0.469X1 + 0.273X2. The coefficient of determination is 60.2%, while the remaining 39.8% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing indicates that the calculated F value is greater than the F table value (40.058 > 2.780).
