Abstract

Abuse of power by law enforcement officers in handling drug cases is a serious problem affecting the integrity of the criminal justice system in Indonesia. Actions such as fabricated cases, extortion, destruction of evidence, and negotiation of sentences frequently appear in various court reports and decisions, fueling public distrust in law enforcement agencies. This article aims to analyze various forms of abuse of power by officers in handling drug cases and the structural factors that trigger these violations, such as weak internal oversight, organizational culture, and regulatory deficiencies. The research method applied is a normative legal approach, encompassing an analysis of laws and regulations, court decisions, and relevant literature. The analysis shows that abuse of power occurs due to a lack of firmness in administrative and legal sanctions against officers, a dysfunctional external oversight mechanism, and the potential for conflicts of interest during the investigation process. This article recommends the need to strengthen accountability mechanisms, improve institutions, and implement stricter sanctions to reduce misconduct by officers in handling drug cases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara mendalam proses pelaksanaan penyuluhan Etika Ilmu dan Literasi Digital pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 November 2025 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 43 orang. Prosedur penelitian mencakup empat tahapan utama, yaitu persiapan pelaksanaan, pengerjaan materi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Pada tahap persiapan pelaksanaan, tim melakukan observasi awal, koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, serta penyusunan rancangan kegiatan. Tahap pengerjaan materi dilakukan dengan menyusun materi penyuluhan yang berfokus pada etika ilmu, literasi digital, verifikasi informasi, serta isu penyalahgunaan media digital di kalangan remaja. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan berbasis presentasi interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan sesi tanya jawab untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa secara langsung. Tahap evaluasi kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan mengamati aktivitas siswa, respons terhadap materi, keterlibatan dalam diskusi, serta refleksi lisan pada akhir sesi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis naratif untuk menggambarkan proses kegiatan secara deskriptif dan kronologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai cara memverifikasi informasi, mengenali bentuk pelanggaran etika digital, serta menerapkan perilaku komunikasi yang bertanggung jawab di ruang digital.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national policy aimed at improving students’ nutritional status and supporting their readiness to learn at school. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the MBG Program at SMP X Blambangan Umpu using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with research subjects consisting of teachers, students, parents/guardians, and MBG program managemant staff. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews to obtain a comprehensive picture of program implementation. Data validity was ensured using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, wich includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that in the context component, the MBG Program is relevant to stundents’ nutritional needs and aligned with government policies, although menu variety still needs to be improved. In the input component, the readiness of humen resources, the involvement of nutritionists, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure were considered adequate however, students’ acceptance of the menu varied. In the process component, program implementation was fairly well organized, with effective mechanisms for quality control and food safety supervision. In the product component, the MBG Program had a positive impact on students’ eating patterns, stamina, and learning readiness, although improvements in nutritional status occurred gradually. Overall, the MBG Program contributes to supporting students’ health and the learning process therefore, continuous evaluation is needed to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
