Abstract

Mitra yang menjadi objek PKM ini adalah pengusaha mikro yang bergerak dalam bidang budidaya ikan lele yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Sungailiat Bangka dan Kecamatan Merawang . Permasalahan pengembangan usaha yang dihadapi oleh peternak lele yang menjadi mitra dari tim pelaksana program pengabdian ini pada hasil ternaknya mengalami pasang surut dan cenderung menurun. Usaha ternak yang dijalani oleh kedua mitra tidak berkembang optimal karena kurangnya keterampilan dalam budidaya ikan, sehingga dikawatirkan tidak dapat melanjutkan usahanya dan kemungkinan terjelek adalah usaha mitra akan tutup. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah agar mitra memiliki keterampilan dan keahlian di dalam perawatan ikan, memiliki keterampilan dalam pemgembangan bibit lele, memiliki keterampilan untuk membuat pakan lele secara mandiri, serta memiliki keterampilan dalam manajemen usaha dan pengelolaan permodalan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian pada mitra menunjukkan bahwa hasil produksi hasil panen dapat meningkat, telah memiliki keterampilan dalam budidaya ikan, mengembangkan bibit lele serta mampu mengelola hasil usaha yang dijalankan oleh kedua mitra.

Abstract

Pengelasan merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam pengembangan dan pertumbuhan industri karena memang memiliki peranan dalam rekayasa, reparasi dan konstruksi. Pengelasan SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) adalah proses penyambungan dua buah material atau lebih yang terbungkus menggunakan elektroda sebagai energi panas untuk mencairkan material tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan cacat las yang timbul dengan variasi arus sehingga didapatkan hasil pengelasan yang optimal dari 3 amper yang diuji dengan menggunkan elektroda E6013 diameter 3,2 pada sambungan fillet posisi pengelasan 3F. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan bahan yang digunakan baja St 37 dengan variasi arus 90A, 100A, dan 110A. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan tidak didapatkan hasil pengelasan yang optimal dimana dari masing-masing amper yang diuji masih terjadi cacat las. Cacat yang ditimbulkan pada ketiga amper tersebut disebabkan busur, sudut elektroda, dan arc length yang melebihi batas normal dan juga dipengaruhi kecepatan pengelasan. Dari ketiga variasi amper yang digunakan didapatkan hasil pengelasan yang dominan tidak terjadi cacat las yaitu pada amper 90, sedangkan pada kaki las amper 100 menunjukan hasil kaki lasan yang baik.

Abstract

Abstract In the SMAW welding process, the problem of welding defects is still often found. This can be the result of using an improper welding ampere. In this study, welding testing was carried out by utilizing variations in the use of a welding amper according to the electrode diameter. The welding process uses low carbon steel St 37 with 2F welding joints. The electrode used was AWS A5.1 E6013 with a diameter of 3.2 mm with a variation of amperage 85, 95 and 115. From the experimental results, it was found that for Amperes 85, it was found that the porosity welding defect and the welding leg showed poor results with a thickness of 5.7 mm and at Amperes 115 welding results show uneven welds and weld feet show good results compared to amperage 85 and 95 with a thickness of 6.1 mm. Observation of the welding arc at times (seconds) 10, 13, 15 and 17 for the amperage used, namely 85, 95 and 115, is obtained, the amperage of 85 shows the phenomenon of the welding arc movement is not normal at 10 and 13 seconds, at that second the arc length height is more than normal, which is 5 mm and 4.9 mm, the resulting defect is porosity. At 15 and 17 seconds, there is no defect in the welds. Amper 95 and 115 show the phenomenon of normal welding arc movement at 10, 13, 15 and 17 seconds and no defects occur. Observation of the results of welds on the weld toe found that, in the three amperage variations, there was a phenomenon that was not asymmetrical as the weld toe. The welding feet are not as symmetrical as the welding speed is different at layers 2 and 3.

Abstract

Betel nut palm plant is one of the many benefits and efficacy, especially seeds. Areca nuts are widely used as the main raw material in the process of making drugs, cosmetics, slimming, snacks, sweets, and coffee. Betel nut processing into betel nut is still constrained by the tool is still modest, are still using wood beams repose knife to split betel nut into two parts. To overcome these problems needed betel nut splitter machine with a capacity of 250 kg / h. This engine design is expected to help farmers during the process of betel nut processing into dried betel nut. The working principle of betel nut splitter machine originated from an electric motor that produces rotation is forwarded to the reducer and to the cutting blade associated with two gears. Betel nut is inserted through the insertion funnel towards the rotor has 4 channels / trench, and rotor spinning and crashing betel nut rotating blades reversed so the rotor besidesbetel nut split into two parts. Shaft rotation speed at the eye-piece and carrier rotor shaft is 9.32 rpm, the rotation speed is obtained from the ratio gearbox and pulley on the engine splitter ratio. With the machine is expected to help farmers to cultivate betel nut, so the work is lighter, faster and may prevent accidents. Abstract

Pengelasan Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) adalah salah satu pengelasan yang memiliki kelebihan dari berbagai macam proses pengelasan yang membutuhkan kepresisian dan mutu yang baik. Pengelasan TIG banyak digunakan untuk pengelasan pelat tipis karena pem¬bentukan busur yang kecil dan area yang dipanasi menjadi minimal sehingga mengurangi masalah penggunaan energi listrik dan distorsi pada pelat. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan dengan meletakkan solenoid magnetik di sekeliling obor las TIG. Pemanfaatan medan elektromagnetik ini dilakukan pada keadaan statis dan dinamis. Fenomena yang terbentuk akan diamati dengan menggunakan kamera sehingga diketahui pengaruh efek medan elektromagnetik bagi efiensi pengelasan pada saat pencairan logam las. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh dari efek elektromagnetik pada pembentukan busur yang lebih stabil dan mengecil dengan penetrasi las yang dalam. Pengelasan ini juga menggunakan daya yang lebih rendah sehingga didapatkan efisiensi pemakaian energi listrik dan membatasi pemanasan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Shielded Metal Arc Welding is one of the most widely used welding in welding work because it is easier and cheaper than other electric arc welding. In welding, welding defects often occur, welding defects are triggered by the use of amperes, welding speed, and the movement of the welding arc. In this study, the use of various amperes will be carried out, intended to determine which amperage is more optimal so that it can eliminate welding defects that occur. Experiments were carried out with the same welding parameters using different amperes, namely five samples of 85 ampere welding, five samples of 95 amperage welding, 5 samples of 105 ampere welding. The phenomenon of arc movement, welding speed will be observed using a camera so that its effect on the welding results is known. This study did not get the results of the use of the most optimal welding current so that the purpose of this study was not achieved, where the purpose of this study was the use of the most optimal welding current at the 4F welding position so as to eliminate welding defects that occurred in the SMAW welding. In the results of this study, it was found that there were welding defects in each variation of amperage used, namely amperes 85, amperes 95, amperes 105.

Abstract

US-350 cutter grinding machine is one of machines in workshop of Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung and functions to make and sharpen cutters. Up and down sled doesn’t move so the cutting isn’t optimal. Vacuum cleaner hose is broken so vacuum cleaner can't work. One way to restore function of damaged component is by reconditioning US-350 cutter grinding machine. Goal of final project is restore condition of US-350 cutter grinding machine to an acceptable condition based on user's standard operating. Final project carried out is to recondition US-350 cutter grinding machine by making threaded boshings, replacing flat belts and timing belts, modifying idler belts, making vacuum cleaners, replacing broken vacuum cleaner hoses and replacing motor bearings. Testing final project is done by testing vibration using vibroport, testing engine geometry using dial indicator, testing each component function and testing accuracy. Test results show condition of cutter grinding machine has functioned well to operating conditions can be accepted by operating user. Condition in question is sledding of engine head has moved, vacuum cleaner system has been able to suck dust, electric motor has been functioning properly and isn’t noisy based on results of testing function of bearing according to user operating standards.

Abstract

Machine dryers often have problems causing the temperature to not be hot, whether it's due to engine part damage or other things. As a result of these constraints the work was delayed. What happens is that the work is not optimal and results in losses. The goal is to reduce excess costs, simplify the work process for operators and also help business owners minimize sudden damage that results in sub-optimal performance. Preventive Maintenance is a maintenance and maintenance activity carried out to prevent the occurrence of unexpected damage symptoms and find conditions or circumstances that can cause production facilities to experience damage during the production process. In the ISMO method, there are several terms and stages that must be carried out to produce a scheduling system and determine cost estimates for the next few years. the results obtained are a manual checklist, soup for each machine and also a maintenance schedule for six and a half years and from the first six months of experimentation there has been a reduction in costs. Implementation of Preventive Maintenance scheduling on Duel laundry has been successful. From the comparison of time for six months. For development, research can be done by determining how many pieces of clothing will be processed to make it easier for workers to measure the capacity of the machine during operation.

Abstract

In the welding process, the swing of the electrode is very influential on the mechanical properties of the weld. The purpose of this study was to determine the hardness value in the HAZ area of ​​AISI 1045 steel due to differences in SMAW welding electrode swing. The method in this study uses experimental research methods, namely describing comparisons of treated specimens using the help of the Microsoft Excel application. The material used in this study was AISI 1045 medium carbon steel which was welded using SMAW welding with variations of zig-zag, circular and C swing electrodes with 1G position. The results of this study prove that the electrode swing has a significant effect on the hardness value. It can be seen that the test material with a circular swing pattern has a higher value than the zigzag and C swing patterns. This is shown by testing the hardness test in the HAZ area where the circular swing pattern gets average. -the highest average hardness value is 23.47 HRC. Meanwhile, the lowest average hardness value is in the C swing pattern of 20.46 HRC. Electrode swing has an influence on the hardness value. The circular swing pattern has a higher value than the zigzag and C swing patterns.

Abstract

The bimetallic welding process is a welding process that connects two different types of metal. This study aims to determine the effect of the E309-16 electrode on the connection of two materials using smaw welding on tensile strength. The materials used were carbon steel AISI 1045 and stainless steel 304. This study used an experimental method with a penetration and filling welding process with a 60° V seam using an E309-16 electrode. The shape of the specimens in this study used the ASTM E8 standard. From the results of the tensile test research conducted, the E309-16 electrode has an influence on the bimetallic welding process on AISI 1045 carbon steel and 304 stainless steelwith a resulting tensile strength of 58.01 Kg/mm – 68.48 Kg/mm, yield strength that is produced by 35.97 Kg/mm – 37.12 Kg/mm, the resulting strain value was 12.50% - 43.00% and was able to withstand a given tensile load of 6450 Kg – 7900 Kg. and the bimetallic welding process using the E309-16 electrode has a more binding effect on the 304 stainless steel material, this is evidenced by the broken specimens in the weld area and the lower carbon content of 304 stainless steel with a carbon content of 0.042% compared to AISI steel material 1045 which has a carbon content of 0.42%.
