Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers can increase soil fertility and improve the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the soil. This study was to determine the best dosage and types of organic fertilizer from plant waste to the yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.).  We conducted this research was conducted on farmer's land in Palembang City, South Sumatra, from May to July 2022. This study used an experimental method with a split plot design consisting of 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications.  The first factor (main Plot) of dosage (T), namely T1 = 1 kg per plot; T2 = 3 kg per plot; T3 = 5 kg per plot, while the second factor (sub-plot) is type of organic fertilizer (J), namely J1 = Rice Straw; J2 = Blotong; J3 = Husk Charcoal.  Observational variables in this study included number of tillers per clump (saplings), tuber weight per clump (g) and tuber weight per plot (kg).  The results showed that tabulated combination of Blotong fertilizer with a dose of 3 kg gave the highest yield of shallots at 0.54 kg per plot or equivalent to 2.16 ha-1.

Abstract

The lowland has the potential to be utilized for agriculture, such as planting peanuts, even though the soil fertility level is not very supportive The use of bio-phosphate fertilizers containing phosphate-solubilizing bacteria can be utilized to help improve the soil and contribute to nutrient elements The advantages of bio-phosphate fertilizers include protecting roots from Fusarium infect, optimizing inorganic fertilizers, and increasing peanut production This research was conducted in Pulau Semambu Village, Inderalaya Utara, Ogan Ilir Palembang from October 2023 to January 2024. Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan pasang surut untuk mendukung program ketahanan pangan  memiliki  peluang  keberhasilan  yang  cukup  besar, salah satunya dengan sistem perluasan lahan pertanian dengan memanfaatkan lahan pasang surut. Strategi pengembangan tanaman pangan di lahan pasang surut dapat ditempuh melalui dua pendekatan. Melalui peningkatan produktivitas, khususnya penanaman di setiap musim serta melalui pengenalan teknologi baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui dan mendapatkan  jenis varietas padi (Oryza sativa L.) lokal yang sesuai  di lahan pasang surut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu lahan petani Desa Trimulya Agung, Kecamatan Lalan, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan 3 perlakuan dan diulang 8 kali. Adapun perlakuannya jenis varietas (V) yaitu V1 = 42 Vietnam , V2 = Ciherang Tw dan V3 = Inpari 32. Peubah yang diamat dalam penelitian ini antara lain : jumlah gabah per malai (butir), bobot 1000 butir (g), dan bobot gabah per petak (kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis varietas Inpari 32 memberikan produksi terbaik pada lahan pasang surut dengan produksi 1,62 kg/petak setara dengan 6,48 ton/ha.Utilizing tidal land to support food security programs has a fairly large chance of success, one of which is the system of expanding agricultural land by utilizing tidal land. The strategy for developing food crops in tidal areas can be taken through two approaches. Through increasing productivity, especially planting in each season as well as through the introduction of new technology. This research aims to find out and obtain local varieties of rice (Oryza sativa L.) that are suitable for tidal land. This research was carried out on one of the farmers' fields in Trimulya Agung Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, from March to August 2024. This research used an experimental method with a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 treatments and repeated 8 times. The treatment was for the type of variety (V), namely V1 = 42 Vietnam, V2 = Ciherang Tw and V3 = Inpari 32. The variables observed in this research included: number of grains per panicle (grain), weight of 1000 grains (g), and grain weight per plot (kg). The research results showed that the Inpari 32 variety provided the best production on tidal land with a production of 1.62 kg/plot equivalent to 6.48 tons/ha.

Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers can increase soil fertility and improve the physical, chemical and biological of the soil. The study aimed to determine the best effect and dose of organic fertilizers on yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). This research was conducted on Palembang City from Juli to September 2021. This study used an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The factors us: Type of Organic Fertilizer (P), namely P0 = Organic Fertilizer Plus Lubricating Oil 750 kg ha-1, P1 = Chicken Manure 20 tons ha-1, P2 = Rice Straw Compost Fertilizer 10 tons ha-1, P3 = Blotong Fertilizer 5 tons ha-1 Observational variables in this study included length of cob (cm), diameter of cob (cm), weight of cob per plant (g) and weight of cob per plot (kg). The results of diversity showed that the treatment of chicken manure 20 tons/ha gave the highest yield of sweet corn at 3.42 kg per plot equivalent to 6.84 tons ha-1. Organic fertilizers can be used to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers in plant cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the growth and production of cucumber suri (Cucumis Mel L. Bar Reticulatus Naudin) are affected by the type of compost and the amount of liquid organic fertilizer applied. This research was conducted at AKN Sakojo No. 21 Kedondong Raye Village, Banyuasin III District, Pangkalan Balai, South Sumatra from July to September 2022. This study used a split plot randomized design consisting of nine treatment combinations and repeated three times. The first factor (Main Plot) was the variation of the type of compost, with K1 being chicken manure compost (3 kg per plot), K2 being rice straw compost (3 kg per plot), and K3 being cow manure compost (3 kg per plot). ). The second factor (subplot) was the dose of liquid organic fertilizer, with P1 being 6 cc/liter and P2 being 4 cc/liter. and 2 cc/liter is P3. The variables observed were stem length (cm), number of branches (branches), number of fruits planted (fruit), weight of fruit planted (g), weight of fruit per plot (kg). The results showed that the use of fertilizer types greatly affects the length of the plant and the number of planting branches. However, the dose of liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on all observed variables. The results of the analysis show that the two factors affect the variable number of planting branches through interaction. Rice straw fertilizer type treatment gave the best results on plant length and number of branches. For growth and production of cucumber suri, treatment with liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 6 cc/l of water gives the best results. . Interaction treatment between the type of rice straw compost with a dose of liquid organic fertilizer 6 cc/l of water obtained the best results on the number of branches per plant. Abstract

Kedelai merupakan tanaman potensial yang perlu dikembangkan, karena memiliki peluang pasar yang besar di Sumatera Selatan belum banyak dibudidayakan dan produksinya pun masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan varietas dan dosis pupuk solid yang berpengaruh terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kedelai (Glycine max (L) Merrill). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot Design). Faktor yang Pertama (Petak Utama) Varietas Kedelai (V) yaitu V1 = Wilis; V2 = Tanggamus dan V3 = Anjasmoro sedangkan Faktor kedua (Anak Petak) Pupuk Solid (S) yaitu S1 = 15 ton ha-1; S2 = 30 ton ha-1 dan S3 = 45 ton ha-1. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada lahan petani di Kelurahan Sukajadi, Kecamatan Talang Kelapa Banyuasin, pada bulan September sampai Desember 2020. Hasil analisis keragaman (Anova) bahwa perlakuan varietas dan pupuk solid maupun interaksinya berpengaruh nyata sampai sangat nyata terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Varietas Anjasmoro memberikan hasil terbaik pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai dengan tinggi tanaman tertinggi (64,32 cm), jumlah cabang produktif terbanyak (9,67 cabang), sedangkan varietas Wilis memberikan hasil terbaik produksi tanaman kedelai dengan berat biji per tanaman terbaik (84,11 g), berat biji per petak terbaik (683,67 g), pupuk solid dengan dosis 30 ton ha-1 memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kedelai. Interaksi antara varietas Wilis dan pupuk solid dosis 30 ton ha-1 memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap produksi tanaman kedelai sebesar 783,00 g/petak atau setara dengan 2,08 ton ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and determine the dose of NPK fertilizer with the appropriate application of guano fertilizer on the yield of peanuts (Arachishypogaea L.), The study was conducted from September to December 2020, this study used a split plot design with 3 replicates for a total of 27 plots. The treatment variables were NPK fertilizer (N), namely N1 = 25 kg ha-1; N2 = 50 kg ha-1 ; N3 = 75 kg ha-1 and Guano Fertilizer (G) ie G1 = 5 tons ha-1; G2 = 10 tons ha-1 ; G3 = 15 tonnes ha-1. Observational variables in this study included the number of pods per plant (pods), pod weight per plant (g), weight of 100 seeds (g) and weight of pods per plot (kg). The results showed that combination of NPK fertilizer 75 kg ha-1 with guano fertilizer 10 tons ha-1 gave the highest yield of peanuts at 1.49 kg per plot (2.98 tons ha-1).

Abstract

Red onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a spice plant whose needs as a kitchen spice continue to increase. Some of the obstacles faced in meeting community needs include the availability of inorganic fertilizer needs and seed preparation before planting. From this fact, it is necessary to cultivate through the use of organic fertilizers by cutting bulbs on shallot seeds before planting, so that it is expected to obtain the expected results. The study was conducted from May to July 2021. Field experiments were carried out using the split plot design method, as the main plot. Cutting tubers (P): P0 tubers that were not cut, P1 cutting in parts, P2 cutting in parts and subplots, namely the dose of organic chicken manure (D) D0 control, D1 15 tons/ha, D2 20 tons/ha. Plant variables include plant length (cm), number of leaves (strands). number of tubers per clump (tubers), number of tubers per plot (tubers), fresh weight of tubers per clump (g), fresh weight of tubers per plot (kg). The results showed that by giving a dose of chicken manure 20 tons/ha by cutting onion bulbs, the highest yield was 1.64 kg/plot or equivalent to 4.47 tons/ha

Abstract

Budidaya tanaman bawang merah pada lahan kering masam berpotensi tinggi, walaupun keadaan pH  tanah dan unsur hara rendah, dan peningkatan  produktivitasnya dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan pupuk organik kotran ayam dan pupuk NPK bersama-sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perlakuan terba,ik kombinasi pupuk organik dan anorganik pada pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.), dengan menggunakan perancangan lingkungan RAK dan perancangan perlakuan berpola faktorial dengan 9 kombinasi perlakuan yang direplikasi sebanyak 3 kali. Sebagai Faktor I. Jenis Pupuk Organik (O) yaitu tanpa (o0), pupuk organik kotoran ayam (o1) dan pupuk organik limbah sayuran (o2).  Sebagai Faktor II. Persentase pupuk NPK (p), yaitu 25 % (p1), 50 % (p2) dan 75 % (p3).  Hasil tertinggi dicapai pada kombinasi pupuk organik kotoran ayam dengan 50 % dosis pupuk NPK dengan produksi 1,76 kg/petak atau setara 7,04 ton/ha dan meningkatkan  sebessar 117,28 % bila dibandingkan dengan tanpa pupuk organik dengan 25 % pupuk NPK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menentukan jarak tanam dan pupuk organik kotoran ayam dengan dosis yang terbaik terhadap hasil tanaman kedelai (Glycine max (L) Merrill.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai April 2025 di lahan petani di jalan Adas Manis Kebun Bunga Kecamatan Sukarame Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 3 ulangan 9 kombinasi perlakuan sehingga didapatkan 27 petak, adapun perlakuan penelitian sebagai  berikut.  Faktor  pertama  Jarak Tanam (J)  : J1 = 20 cm x 15 cm, J2 = 20 cm x 20 cm, J3 = 20 cm x 25 cm.  Faktor kedua dosis pupuk organik kotoran ayam (A) : A1 =10 ton/ha, A2 = 20 ton/ ha, A3 = 30 ton/ha. Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah polong per tanaman (polong), berat 100 biji (g) dan produksi per petak (kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara tabulasi kombinasi jarak tanam 20 x 25 cm dengan pupuk organik kotoran ayam dosis 30 ton/ha memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap tanaman kedelai sebanyak 3,13 kg/petak (setara 2,64 ton/ha).This study aims to determine and determine the best planting distance and organic chicken manure fertilizer dosage for soybean (Glycine max (L) Merrill.) yield. The variables observed in this study were the number of pods per plant (pod), weight of 100 seeds (g) and production per plot (kg). The results of the study showed that tabulation showed that the combination of a planting distance of 20 x 25 cm with organic chicken manure fertilizer at a dose of 30 tons/ha provided the highest yield for soybean plants of 3.13 kg/plot (equivalent to 2.64 tons/ha).
