Abstract

As a company in the 4.0 era, PT. Swabina Gatra certainly needs to digitize archives to improve services in safeguarding, caring for and managing company documents well. One of the applications carried out is by using Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of Microsoft Excel and how its use influences employee performance improvement at PT. Swabina Gatra in unit X. This research is qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis prove that Microsoft Excel speeds up the unit work process and improves the performance of employees in unit easier search process. Furthermore, the results provided by employees obtained significant changes in performance assessments and the archives management information system, especially personnel, had an effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This article or writing aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work motivation, and work discipline on the productivity of BLP Property employees. This research was obtained from primary data and the research population was 30 employees, then used a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through distributing research questionnaires, by submitting written statements to BLP Property employee respondents and analyzed quantitatively. Testing this research hypothesis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) version 4. This study shows the results that work environment variables and work discipline variables have no effect on employee productivity variables and work motivation variables have a significant effect on employee productivity variables.

Abstract

The introduction of the capital market for Accounting Study Program Students, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik aims to educate students to be literate in capital market investment so that they are expected to be interested in participating in capital market investment literacy education and are interested in investing by opening a capital market account. The implementation method was carried out in several stages starting from the participant data collection stage, coordination with the Accounting Student Association, IDX-UMG Investment Gallery and Phintraco Sekuritas. The result of the service activity is an increase in knowledge and further understanding regarding literacy and how to invest through stocks. In addition, all participants in this activity have been able and succeeded in opening a share account directly.

Abstract

Penerangan jalan di area makam merupakan hal yang penting dalam menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan pengunjung. Namun, seringkali area makam di pedesaan, seperti Desa Gosari, menghadapi tantangan dalam hal penerangan yang memadai. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, implementasi KKN Proker Prodi Teknik Elektro dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan penerangan jalan di area makam di Desa Gosari menggunakan lampu sorot. Lampu sorot dipilih sebagai solusi karena dapat memberikan cahaya terfokus pada area yang dituju, sehingga memberikan penerangan yang lebih baik di sekitar makam. Melalui program KKN, mahasiswa program studi Teknik Elektro dapat menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam perencanaan, perancangan, dan pemasangan lampu sorot di Desa Gosari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi survei awal terkait kebutuhan penerangan di area makam Desa Gosari, pemilihan lokasi yang tepat untuk pemasangan lampu sorot, serta perancangan dan pemasangan lampu sorot dengan mempertimbangkan aspek teknis dan keamanan. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui survei dan pengukuran cahaya diolah dan dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerangan setelah implementasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi yang optimal dalam meningkatkan penerangan jalan di area makam Desa Gosari. Dengan adanya penerangan yang memadai, pengunjung dapat merasa lebih aman dan nyaman saat mengunjungi makam. Selain itu, implementasi ini juga dapat memberikan manfaat sosial bagi masyarakat Desa Gosari, meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap warisan budaya dan sejarah yang terkait dengan makam tersebut

Abstract

One of the phenomena seen in Perumda Bank Gresik is problems regarding employee performance. Based on performance data in the form of KPI from several employees, it was identified that employees had not been able to maximize their performance in certain aspects, even though Perumda Bank Gresik was facing intense business competition. This allegedly occurs because there are employees who experience stress, excessive pressure, and other factors which are included in aspects that inhibit work motivation. This research aims to analyze the relationship between work motivation and employee performance in terms of several factors from each variable. The method used in this research is descriptive statistical research. Data collection was carried out by means of limited observation and interviews. The research was conducted at Perumda Bank Gresik during the period August – October 2023. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the work motivation possessed by employees was oriented towards limited needs, especially salary or income, so that employees did not prioritize work assessment, thereby impacting employee performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara kinerja karyawan PT. XYZ (perusahaan konstruksi) dengan faktor-faktor yang meliputi tingkat pendidikan, lingkungan kerja fisik, dan rekrutmen. Dengan menggunakan PT. XYZ sebagai studi kasus, penelitian ini mengandalkan metode kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi, yang terdiri dari 51 karyawan tetap PT. XYZ, sebagai sampelnya. Analisis regresi linier berganda dilakukan dalam SPSS versi 25 untuk tujuan pengujian. Setelah menjalankan uji-t pada data yang diolah dengan SPSS, peneliti menemukan bahwa variabel rekrutmen (X1) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada kinerja karyawan (p = 0,001), variabel lingkungan kerja fisik (X2) memiliki pengaruh (p = 0,000), dan variabel tingkat pendidikan (X3) memiliki pengaruh (p = 0,000). Semua variabel independen memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel dependen (p = 0,000).

Abstract

5S is a work system with an effectiveness perspective based on a specific industry culture. The 5S is a work system with an effectiveness perspective based on a specific industrial culture. The aim of this research is to test the application of 5S Culture (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) to the productivity of PT PLN NP UMRO employees. The research sample used was 39 people taken from employees of PT PLN NP UMRO Gresik Region as respondents to the research by distributing questionnaires. Testing using Systematic Random Sampling using a quantitative approach by processing questionnaire data obtained using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of this study show that: (1) Seiri has a positive and significant influence on Employee Productivity (2) Seiton has a positive and significant influence on Employee Productivity (3) Seiso has a negative and insignificant influence on Employee Productivity (4) Seiketsu has a negative and insignificant influence on Employee Productivity (5) Shitsuke has a negative and insignificant influence on Employee Productivity. Abstract

Background – The increasing variety of Amil Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah Institutions (LAZIS) in Indonesia has an impact on the level of competition that is so tight and competitive, therefore the institution immediately determines what strategies are considered effective and attractive to new or their old donors.Aim – This study aims to determine the interaction between brand reputation, brand awareness and brand image on trust and loyalty.Design/ methodology/ approach – Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to LAZIS XYZ donors in Gresik and the technique used was convenience sampling and up to 197 respondents. In this study, the analysis tool used was Partial Least Square (PLS). Findings – The results of this study: (1) There is a significant interaction between brand reputation (BR) variables on trust (K). (2) There is a significant interaction between brand awareness (BA) variables on trust (K). (3) There is a significant interaction between the brand image (BI) variable and trust (K). (4) There is a significant interaction between the trust variable (K) and loyalty (L).Research implication – This research can provide an overview of brand strategies that can increase trust and loyalty in donors of Lembaga Amil, Zakat, dan Infaq (LAZIS). Limitations – The limitation of this study is that the donor trust variable can only be explained by 70.4% by the brand reputation, brand awareness and brand image variables, while 29.6% is explained by other variables outside the model. The donor loyalty variable can only be explained by the trust variable by 74.4%, for the remaining 25.6% explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

Background – Gresik Regency is one of the regencies located in East Java Province which is influenced by various factors that cause various kinds of disasters, both natural and human disasters, namely demographic, geographical, hydrological and geological factors, which can cause environmental damage and cause loss of property and property. In 2021, the spotlight relating to the performance of the Gresik Regency BPBD is the news in the mass media where the Minister of Social Affairs, namely Mrs. Risma's annoyance, saw that there were residents who were victims of the rain-flood disaster which resulted in residents getting cold and forced to set up makeshift tents with tarpaulins on the side of the village road. The Social Minister's annoyance raised doubts about the performance of the Gresik Regency BPBD in the process of disaster prevention and management, especially floods. Aim – to find out the performance of BPBD Gresik Regency in the process of overcoming and preventing natural disasters, especially floods in 2021 using the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) approach. Design / methodology / approach – The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative so it is necessary to collect data from the field results needed to support this research. After the data has been collected, it is necessary to reduce the data or summarize according to the information obtained, which is then displayed or presented in accordance with the performance indicators of BPBD Gresik Regency. To strengthen the research results, it is necessary to test the validity of the data using the source triangulation method through member checks. Findings – The achievement of the performance of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Gresik Regency obtained results with good criteria but the results were still not optimal. BPBD Gresik Regency cooperates with stakeholders in the context of providing services and handling of natural disasters that occur. In addition, BPBD has conducted training activities in the context of disaster prevention and mitigation. Meanwhile, in terms of responsiveness, BPBD Gresik Regency is categorized as good, because it has handled emergency actions quickly and spontaneously in carrying out aid, rescue, search and health services and social services for residents affected by disasters or as victims of disasters. Meanwhile, in terms of accountability, it was found that the BPBD of Gresik Regency had been carried out in accordance with existing and applicable standards. Research implication – Based on the results of the conclusions obtained, it is hoped that the Gresik Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) can continue to improve performance in accordance with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and the planned activities to be implemented. The need for special management to deal with disasters that are located quite far from the district BPBD office. Gresik, so as to minimize the disaster area. Tools (facilities) in disaster management must be added, equipped and modernized, because with modern and complete tools it is hoped that the disaster management process can be handled properly. as well as Human Resources (HR), in this case the Apparatus must be added and their capabilities increased, so that in the implementation of disaster management can be carried out in a professional manner.

Abstract

Background: Most workers have not complied with the standard operating procedures in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), apart from the lack of awareness of workers about the importance of using PPE, there are other factors, namely the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency does not have occupational safety and health risk management so that the existing risks cannot be controlled which will cause the risk of work accidents when using machines,  equipment and during the installation process. Method: This study is descriptive with a qualitative type of research that aims to obtain an overview of the analysis of safety and health risks in the canopy making process at the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency. The research subjects were taken by purposive sampling, using HIRADC tools with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The respondents in this study were 3 workers as the main informants, and workshop owners as key informants. Result: In the canopy making activity, a risk assessment of 20 risks included in the moderate risk category was still tolerable but action or handling was needed so that the risk could be reduced, and 15 high risks were unacceptable so attention was needed to take action or handle as soon as possible. Conclusion: The process of making canopies at the Arivlas Workshop in Bantul Regency has a high potential for hazards and risks to occupational safety and health, the dangers contained in canopy making activities are the dangers of movement, gravity, mechanics, electricity, chemicals, noise, and radiation. With the risk of hearing loss, feet hit by iron, scratches, electric shocks and the risk of inhaling chemicals such as paint and dust from polishing results.
