Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by chronic malnutrition. Nutrition and nutritional intake for people affected by stunting, especially toddlers, can be obtained through the consumption of healthy and nutritious food. Biscuits are a food that is loved by all groups, especially toddlers. Moringa has many benefits, especially for health and medicine. The addition of Moringa flour fortification can increase the nutritional value of biscuits. This study aims to determine the results of the preference test (organoleptic) of biscuits with fortified moringa flour, and to compare the nutritional content of biscuits from the best fortified formulation with biscuits without the addition of moringa flour. The research was conducted in September - November 2022 at the Teaching Factory of the Faculty of Applied Science, Suryakancana University and the Laboratory of the Center for Agro Industry. This study used treatment in the form of the addition of moringa flour fortification: 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5%. Organoleptic test through hedonic/liking test was conducted on 25 panelists and 2 expert panelists. The nutritional test was carried out on biscuits with the best organoleptic test results with biscuits without the addition of moringa flour as a control. The results showed that the A2 treatment (addition of 2% moringa flour) was the treatment that gave the most recommended organoleptic test results for consumption. Furthermore, the results of nutritional tests on the A2 treatment biscuits (addition of 2% moringa flour) showed that the food was high in protein and suitable for consumption for people affected by stunting. Meanwhile, the saturated fat content is very low. This really supports the stunting program because saturated fat can inhibit the metabolism of omega-3 which functions for eye health and brain development.

Abstract

Mawar Rambat (Climbing Rose), merupakan salah satu varietas mawar yang banyak diminati karena sangat unik mempercantik dinding rumah serta menghasilkan warna-warna yang indah. Perbanyakan tanaman mawar biasanya lebih sering dilakukan secara vegetatif, seperti menggunakan stek akan tetapi stek mengalami kegagalan dengan tidak tumbuhnya akar salah satu upaya mempercepat pertumbuhan stek tanaman mawar dengan pemberian fitohormon alamin dan sintetik ( ekstrak bawang merah , gel lidah buata dan air kelapa). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh fitohormon ekstrak bawang merah, lidah buaya, dan air kelapa terhadap waktu muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar pada stek mawar Climbing rose. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Non Faktorial (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 5 stek batang. K0 : tanpa ZPT 0% , K1 : konsentrasi air kelapa 100%, K2 : konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 70%, K3 : konsentrasi lidah buaya 50%, K4 : konsentrasi Rootone F 200 mg/liter air. Parameter yang diamati meliputi waktu muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar stek batang mawar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan fitohormon tidak berpengaruh terhadap waktu muncul tunas akan tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar stek batang mawar varietas Climbing rose.  Ekstrak bawang merah memberikan pengaruh yang paling nyata dan paling baik   terhadap jumlah tunas stek mawar (2,85 helai) dan jumlah akar (3,80 helai). Ekstrak air kelapa berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun stek mawar.  Ekstrak bawang merah dan air kelapa mengandung auksin dan sitokinin yang berperan untuk mempengaruhi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan tanaman.

Abstract

One of the ways to empower communities affected by the earthquake in Cianjur Regency is through community assistance activities in waste management and processing to create a clean environment. The Suryakancana University lecturer team carried out community service activities in the form of assisting communities affected by the Cianjur earthquake in Sarampad Village and Benjot Village. Forms of mentoring activities are carried out in the form of discussions and practices in processing waste into useful products such as pillows, doormats, fertilizer, and handicrafts. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest on 20 respondents (mentoring participants) who came from Sarampad Village and Benjot Village. Mentoring activities will be carried out from August – October 2023. The results of mentoring for earthquake-affected communities from Sarampad Village and Benjot Village show an increase in knowledge, attitudes and skills. Mentoring provided a greater increase in the knowledge aspect compared to the attitude and skills aspect in both Sarampad and Benjot Villages. The increase in knowledge aspects of people affected by the earthquake in Benjot Village (27%) was greater than in Sarampad Village (20%). Meanwhile, in the aspect of attitudes and skills, the increase was greater in the earthquake-affected communities in Sarampad Village (attitudes 18% and skills 17%) than in Benjot Village (attitudes and skills the same 11%).

Abstract

Gempa di Cianjur tahun 2022 menyebabkan tumpukan sampah tekstil dan sampah jenis ini merupakan sampah yang sulit terurai. Saat ini TPS3R di Cianjur hanya menjual barang bekas ke perorangan secara langsung dan terbatas. Masalah sampah dan bisnis menjadi pendorong utama membuat aplikasi EFarash. Hal ini disebabkan belum adanya toko online khusus menjual olahan sampah bernilai guna. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana membangun aplikasi EFarash dengan menggunakan metode FAST (Framework for The Application of System Thinking) dan mengkombinasikannya dengan metode analisis PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control an Security, Efficiency, dan Service) untuk analisis masalah, kebutuhan dan evaluasi kepuasan. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan bahwa rata-rata kepuasan tiap indikator ukur adalah 4.34 atau dikategorikan sangat baik. Sehingga diharapkan aplikasi ini akan menjadi solusi untuk perekonomian Masyarakat dan solusi penanggulangan sampah sebagai wadah penyalur olahan sampah.
