Abstract

A negative work environment can create work pressure for workers, including health professionals in hospitals. A collaborative work climate in the workplace contributes to one of the work environments. As a result, good cooperation among health professionals in hospitals can help to avoid work stress. This is because sustained work pressure can often contribute to the emergence of work stress. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze whether the teamwork climate has a significant impact on stress recognition and job satisfaction. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the impact of stress recognition on job satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to determine whether stress recognition acts as a mediator between teamwork climate and job satisfaction. This quantitative study included 48 health professionals from Indonesian hospitals. The research data was analyzed with SMART PLS 3.0 and a PLS-SEM structural model. According to the findings of this study, teamwork climate has a significant effect on job satisfaction but not on stress recognition. The mere recognition of stress has no effect on job satisfaction. This study explains that stress recognition does not mediate the impact of teamwork climate on job satisfaction. Clarity of procedures and information is an important key in a hospital work environment for health professionals to be able to ask each other for certain conditions, especially those related to patient health and safety. Furthermore, to maintain organizational learning—continuous improvement, management must support all actions of workers in taking active actions that prioritize patient safety.

Abstract

Abstract

Business competition in this case shows the public demand and supply in this case applies. The development of the business world is able to provide offers that tend to be more attractive to both experienced and non-experienced Human Resource. This makes employees in a company in a certain period tend to have consideration to move and choose more attractive offers from other companies. This study generally aims to analyze the determinants of employee turnover factors. This research is a quantitative study using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a total sample of 50 people with analysis tools, namely SMART PLS 3.0. The results of this study explain in a direct effect that employee motivation is not affected by service efforts to the client as part of the work carried out by employees and also not affected by employee teamwork. However, employee motivation is influenced by relationships between employees, employee responsibilities at work, employee work behavior. The desire of employees to change jobs is influenced by employee motivation. Indirectly, the desire of employees to change jobs is not influenced by service to the client and teamwork. Conversely, the desire of employees to change jobs is influenced by factors of work relations between employees, employee responsibilities with employee motivation as mediating factors, and employee work behavior factors. Suggestions for researchers can then use export import companies originating from outside Indonesia where blending the culture of the organization will have an important role.

Abstract

Inventory management is a systematic approach to sourcing, storing, and selling inventory both raw materials (components) and finished goods (products). In business terms, inventory management means the right stock, at the right levels, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost as well as price. Inventory management refers to the process of ordering, storing and using a company's inventory. This includes the management of raw materials, components and finished products, as well as warehousing and processing such items. For companies with complex supply chains and manufacturing processes, balancing the risks of inventory gluts and shortages is especially difficult. At the same time, inventory can be thought of as a liability (if not in an accounting sense). A large inventory carries the risk of spoilage, theft, damage or shifts in demand. Inventory must be insured, and if it is not sold in time it may have to be disposed of at clearance prices or simply destroyed. For these reasons, inventory management is important for businesses of any size. Knowing when to restock inventory, what amounts to purchase or produce, what price to pay as well as when to sell and at what pric can easily become complex decisions. Small businesses will often keep track of stock manually and determine the reorder points and quantities using Excel formulas. Larger businesses will use specialized enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Abstract

The protracted COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on many aspects of people's lives. One of the most noticeable effects is in the business world, where the adaptation of new work patterns and behavior follows government policies, where non-essential offices are encouraged to use the work from home method. This activity, in the form of community service (PKM) via an online webinar using Zoom media, aims to provide information, education, and knowledge to the larger community. Organizational management must invariably quickly and precisely adapt work methods that can be accepted and carried out by employees. On the one hand, this method of working from home has made it possible for workers to work remotely and to do more than one job, or to do multitasking jobs. On the other hand, this method of working from home is consistently proving to be unsuitable for this type of work. In practice, this activity is divided into three sessions: a theoretical presentation of the concept of work behavior by the first speaker; an explanation of adaptation trends and work patterns during a pandemic from scientific publications by the second speaker; and an explanation of how to find trends in novelty and work adaptation by the third speaker. Third-party presenters use dimensions, bibliometrics, and VOSviewer. In addition to the presenters' good mastery of the material, the participants thought the materials and activities provided had good elements of accountability, objectivity, and transparency. Furthermore, the participants thought the material presented to them was of high quality

Abstract

Business in the Resort & Spa business sector is growing rapidly. This increase in business in the hospitality sector reflects the demand for both local and out-of-town visitors. Visitor satisfaction is an important aspect of this service industry. Several studies also focus on the relationship between satisfaction and the behavior of workers in an accommodation. This is important because service delivery according to quality standards is also determined by the performance of the workers in it. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence Intrinsic Motivation. The research subjects in this study were the XYZ company in Manado which was engaged in Resort & Spa services and the objects in this study were 92 employees who worked at the company. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with SMART PLS 3.0. Intrinsic Motivation variable is not influenced by employee expectations, then this study explains that employee expectations are influenced by work boredom. Furthermore, Intrinsic Motivation is influenced by Work Boredom.

Abstract

The phenomenon that the work environment and personal aspects of workers, such as work discipline and locus control, should go hand in hand to achieve the expected job satisfaction motivates this research. The purpose of this research is to identify and explain the factors that influence locus control and job satisfaction. Also, to identify and explain the role of locus control as a moderator between non-physical work environment and work discipline on job satisfaction. This quantitative study involves 30 employees from XYZ's non-franchise business in Jakarta and employs a structural model with SmartPLS as an analytical tool. A questionnaire instrument was used in this study's survey. According to the findings of this study, the work environment has a small impact on locus control and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, work discipline affects locus control but not job satisfaction. This finding supports another finding that employees' locus of control at work influences job satisfaction. In the indirect effect, locus control does not serve as a moderator between work environment and job satisfaction or between work discipline and job satisfaction.

Abstract

English Language Anxiety (ELA) remains a significant psychological barrier for learners in Indonesia, particularly in the context of performance-based assessments. This study investigates the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to mitigate this anxiety, focusing on student perceptions and the relevance of specific AI features. Employing a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 90 high school students in Bandung using a questionnaire that integrated the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that students experience high levels of performance anxiety, especially when speaking without preparation. Results indicate a strong positive perception of AI's ability to create a low-stress environment, primarily by reducing the fear of making mistakes (Mean=3.67). Concerning the most relevant AI features, the capability for L1 scaffolding—explaining concepts in Indonesian—was deemed most crucial (Mean=3.88), highlighting its role in alleviating cognitive anxiety. However, a significant concern regarding the transferability of AI-practiced skills to real human interaction was identified (Mean=3.56), moderating the overall perceived efficacy of AI for anxiety reduction. The study concludes that AI is a highly effective affective tool for safe practice but must be integrated within a hybrid pedagogical model that bridges the gap between AI-assisted learning and authentic social communication to fully address the multifaceted nature of foreign language anxiety.
