Abstract

The unclear end of the current Covid-19 pandemic signals concern not only for workers but also for organizations. This condition makes company income non-existent so that inevitably the company makes efficiency, one of which is reducing workers. One of the methods for carrying out this action for the company can be determined by the aspect of the work skills of the workers so that they can still make the maximum contribution to the company. On the one hand, workers feel a signal of insecurity in working for the future. In a broader context, this feeling safety also refers to the availability of safety aspect equipment provided by the organization for workers. This study aims to measure the role of feeling safety as a moderator of worker skills on worker performance. This research is a quantitative study using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) model. By using SMART PLS 3.0 and 99 respondents who are workers from various fields of work and types of companies in Indonesia, this study explains that feeling safety at work can not be a moderating effect between skills and work performance. In addition, this study succeeded in explaining that feeling safety actually affects work performance in the company. The next result explains that work skills affects the work performance of workers. In order to survive in the midst of difficult conditions, the work skills of workers is an important key and to be able to improve organizational performance, a series of forms of training for workers need to be held by the organization. On the other hand, to increase awareness of safety aspects in work, routine delivery of information on safety aspects needs to be carried out continuously.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world, especially in Indonesia, apprently continued  and still uncertain when completed. In early 2020 along with the emergence of this virus, the predicted impact of Covid-19 have been widely publicized in which various aspects will also be affected such as indonesia's economic growth decline,  import disruption, aviation, tourism, and increased in food prices. In addition, this also has an impact on the education sector in Indonesia, especially in the lecture method in higher education. One impact is the change in the lecture method from the face-to-face method in the classroom to the online method. However, this is not necessarily successful. In the process many difficulties occur especially for lecturers. This study aims to analyse the determinants of the  performance of college lecturers in Jakarta with stress factors in the use of online teaching technology. This study uses a quantitative method with a questionnaire instrument. The results of the study using SMART PLS 3.0 explain that both directly the performance of lecturers is influenced by workload factors that exist and the level of stress in the use of online teaching methods during this pandemic. In addition, this study also explains that Technostress as a mediating factor also explains the effect between workload on lecturer work performance. In the midst of conditions of rapid and limited change, training in the use of online teaching methods, especially in technical matters, is very much needed for lecturers to establish confidence in using online methods as well as the  efficiency and  effectiveness of switching from the face-to-face method in the class room to the online method.

Abstract

Introduction: According to medical check up results of the hand-rolled cigarette factory PT. X in 2018, a hemorrhoid prevalence of 33% was found. Several studies have tried to show an association between individual factors such as age, family history, constipation, obesity, pregnancy, fiber consumption, and defecation position in research subjects in clinics and hospitals. Nevertheless, the effects of sitting work position and sitting time on the risk of hemorrhoid is yet to be revealed. This study aims to prove the effect of these factors on the increased risk of hemorrhoids. Methods: An observational study with a 1:1 unmatched case control design with 300 female workers as subjects. The risk factors related with hemorrhoids were obtained from primary and secondary data. Cases were workers diagnosed with hemorrhoids and controls were workers who were not diagnosed with hemorrhoids during a medical check-up 2018. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: The mean ages of the subjects were 42.49±3.05 years old (cases) and 42.83±3.02 years old (controls), with most education level was a junior high school in both groups. Bivariate analysis pointed out that sitting work position and sitting time did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of hemorrhoids. Meanwhile, consumption of less fruit (OR=3.84;95%CI 1.87-7.91) and less vegetable (OR=2.41;95%CI 1.36-4.28) increased the risk of hemorrhoid compared to sufficient vegetables and fruit consumption. Conclusion: Sitting work position and sitting time were not associated with an increased risk of hemorrhoids. Meanwhile, consumption of less vegetable and fruit increased the risk of hemorrhoids.

Abstract

Background: Lower back pain (LBP) complaints are a health issue that may lead to restrictions on work activities. Motorcycles vibrations and long sitting duration on the motorcycles can cause chronic lower back pain complaints. Base motorcycles drivers receive motorcycles vibration exposure while riding a motorcycle. With the large number of base motorcycles drivers in Indonesia, the specific health problems (LBP complaints) in this group need to be examined. Methods: This research method uses a cross sectional study design to examine the relationship of motor vibration exposure and length of sitting to chronic low back pain with sampling technique used is Consecutive sampling. Consecutive sampling is a way of taking samples by selecting samples that meet the inclusion criteria until a certain time period so that the number of samples is met. The sampling period in this study is 2 days. The variables that measured were chronic lower back pain complaints, vibration, long sitting time, age, IMT, smoking, and working time. Data analysis using SPSS Statistics version 25.0. Results: A total of 95 subjects were included in this study. Based on Fisher’s test, the result of the correlation of chronic lower back pain complaints with motor vibrations > 0.5 m/s2 was obtained p = 0.102; OR = N / A). While for long sitting time of >4 hours result in p = 0.717; OR 0.85; CI 95% = 0.34-2.09. There is no difference in age-related chronic lower back pain complaints. At age> 35 years of age p = 0.722; OR 1.57; CI 95% = 0.31-7,9. No significant association between IMT and chronic lower back pain was found. In the IMT group> 25, p = 0.103 was obtained; OR 2.14; 95% CI = 0.85-5.36. There was no significant difference in chronic lower back pain complaints based on smoking status, where smoking group had p = 0.451; OR 1,45; CI 95% = 0.55-3.78. According to the Fisher test, there was no difference in chronic lower back pain complaints based on working age, where groups with> 4 years of work had a p = 0.908 value; OR 1.07; CI 95% = 0.31-3.91. Conclusion: In this study the hypothesis was rejected. There is no association between motorcycles vibration exposure and the occurrence of chronic lower back pain complaints in the base motorcycles driver in Bekasi city. There is no association long sitting time with the occurrence of chronic lower back pain complaints in the base motorcycles driver in Bekasi city.

Abstract

A negative work environment can create work pressure for workers, including health professionals in hospitals. A collaborative work climate in the workplace contributes to one of the work environments. As a result, good cooperation among health professionals in hospitals can help to avoid work stress. This is because sustained work pressure can often contribute to the emergence of work stress. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze whether the teamwork climate has a significant impact on stress recognition and job satisfaction. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the impact of stress recognition on job satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to determine whether stress recognition acts as a mediator between teamwork climate and job satisfaction. This quantitative study included 48 health professionals from Indonesian hospitals. The research data was analyzed with SMART PLS 3.0 and a PLS-SEM structural model. According to the findings of this study, teamwork climate has a significant effect on job satisfaction but not on stress recognition. The mere recognition of stress has no effect on job satisfaction. This study explains that stress recognition does not mediate the impact of teamwork climate on job satisfaction. Clarity of procedures and information is an important key in a hospital work environment for health professionals to be able to ask each other for certain conditions, especially those related to patient health and safety. Furthermore, to maintain organizational learning—continuous improvement, management must support all actions of workers in taking active actions that prioritize patient safety.

Abstract

Individual views can be shaped by price promotions, particularly when it comes to a service or service. This also applies to application-based services, such as Jakarta's use of online transportation apps. Users, particularly those from generation Z (persons born between 1995 and 2009). This generation is noted for being closely associated with the usage of information and communication technology, as well as a preference for fast-paced activities (spontaneous). Given the current situation, the purpose of this study is to determine and assess whether Generation Z online transportation users are content with switching to cashless payments in terms of switching intention, switching cost, and attitude toward price promotion. The findings of this study in Jakarta explain all accepted assumptions utilizing structural modeling with SMART PLS and 200 participants (online transportation service customers from generation Z). Switching costs have a big impact on switching intentions, according to this research. In addition, this research demonstrates that switching intention has a major impact on satisfaction. The study's third finding shows that one's attitude regarding price promotions has a considerable impact on switching intentions. Additionally, satisfaction is influenced by one's attitude toward price promotions. As a result, this research demonstrates that Attitude on Price Promotion (AOPP) can moderate the influence of switching costs on switching intention. The findings of this study suggest that internet transportation service providers should be able to sustain a price-related promotional approach. This is based on the findings of this study, which show that if users' attitudes are influenced by the presence or absence of price promotions, they will be easy to modify.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The same awareness and perception of health professionals in hospitals regarding a patient-centered safetyclimate is very likely to be found to be non-uniform. Indeed, this will have an impact on organizational learning—continuous improvement, which is also linked to management support. Using these two aspects, this study intendsto investigate the determinants of organizational learning—continuous improvement. This is a quantitative studythat used a randomized survey of 48 health professionals working in hospitals throughout Indonesia. Data wascollected using a questionnaire as a research instrument, and the analysis tool in this study was structuralequation modeling—partial least squares with SmartPLS. The findings of this study support that safety climatehas a significant impact on organizational learning—continuous improvement (p = 0.007). This study's nextfinding explains that management support has a significant effect on organizational learning—continuousimprovement (p = 0.003). In this study, management support had no moderating effect (p = 0.127). According tothis study, 70.4 percent of organizations use safety climate and management support to measure organizationallearning and continuous improvement. Abstract

One of the Indonesia's leading online food delivery services is Shopee Food. It has competed with other big players. This application has caught the attention of users, even those from the Z generation, who are known for their easy-to-move characteristics and are close to technological applications but sensitive to user experience. This generation's convenience is influenced by many factors. This study analyzes the factors that influence attitudes and behavior for sustainable use of this application in Jakarta. Quantitative data is collected using a survey and questionnaire. This PLS-SEM modeling study shows that after using the service in this application, the user's hedonic motivation must be followed by comfort and usability. The user will evaluate the post-use usefulness of the previous experience to form an attitude toward the next perceived experience. Behavioral intentions toward sustainable use are encouraged. This study highlights the importance of usability and ease of use in determining user comfort. Generation Z does not easily form positive usage attitudes until the benefits of the next experience are the same or better.
