Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) are still threats to public health. Indonesia ranks third highest in the number of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and new infection cases in the Asia-Pacific region after India and China. One of the sustainable development targets to improve health and well-being is to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030 which refers to the global policy of "Getting to Zeros" using antiretroviral therapy (ARV). This study aims to analyze the determinants of HIV/AIDS treatment adherence through ARV therapy using the Health Belief Model (HBM) theory. Methods: This study used Preferred Reported Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) for systematic review through keyword searches on 10 relevant articles. Databases used include journals from ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and PubMed. Article submission took place in May–June 2023. The article used is an article that contains research in the range of 2015–2023. Results and Discussions: The findings of the article are then screened, filtered, and critically appraised through several inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search results found as many as 10 suitable articles. The results showed a relationship between perceived barriers, perceived benefits, self-efficacy, and cues to action with adherence to ARV therapy in PLWHA. Non-adherence to ARV treatment has multidimensional consequences at both the individual, community, and policy levels. Individually, it can lead to an uncontrolled viral load, increasing the risk of resistance and other factors, including mortality. Conclusions: So it is necessary to increase awareness of the importance of ARV therapy for PLWHA through HBM theory. In addition, it is expected for the closest people to always provide positive support to PLWHA to be compliant in carrying out ARV therapy.

Abstract

Sputum is a material expelled from the lungs and trachea through the mouth. Sputum expelled by a person should be able to be evaluated for its source, color, volume and consistency because the condition of sputum usually specifically shows the pathological process of the formation of sputum itself. The purpose of this study is to eliminate breathing difficulties caused by accumulation of secretions so that the client does not become tired when cleaning secretions and is able to expel phlegm optimally. The research method used is One Group Pre-test Post-test, which is a research design that only uses one group of subjects (without a control class) and carries out measurements before and after giving treatment to the subjects. The results of the study showed that the phlegm discharge in patients before the effective coughing exercise was carried out with the category of 54 people (60%) coming out and 36 people (40%) not coming out. The conclusion is that A significance value of <0.05 (p=0.000) was obtained, meaning that Ha was accepted, meaning that effective coughing exercises can increase phlegm excretion in patients.

Abstract

Stunting, or below-standard height, is a nutritional problem commonly found in developing countries. Stunting negatively impacts growth, development, and productivity. It can increase the risk of infectious diseases, chronic diseases, and death, which will subsequently reduce work productivity in adulthood. Children who cannot catch up on growth later on can cause bigger problems, and in the future, Indonesia may experience a lost generation. Method: This study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a cross-sectional research design. The population consisted of all mothers with toddlers aged 0-59 months in 2021, totaling 520 toddlers, while the sample included 99 mothers of toddlers. Data collection on toddlers was conducted by measuring body length/height with a microtoise BB to determine stunting status and using a questionnaire. The research results were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. Results: Specific nutrition interventions, when viewed from the PMT variable (0.035), IMD counseling and exclusive breastfeeding (0.001), vitamin A capsule administration (0.022), and immunization (0.036), are related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Meanwhile, sensitive nutrition interventions, when viewed from the information variable (0.030) about stunting, are related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Conclusion: Preventing stunting requires appropriate handling through both specific and sensitive nutritional interventions together. The research results indicate that there are 5 variables related to the occurrence of stunting in toddlers, including PMT, IMD counseling and exclusive breastfeeding, administration of vitamin A capsules, immunization, and provision of information about stunting.

This community service aims to identify environmental sanitation risks in public facilities, particularly schools. The method used was direct observation of the school's condition using the previously prepared IKL form, followed by interviews with relevant parties to reinforce the findings. The results still found several schools with conditions that do not meet health standards. It is hoped that with the implementation of school environmental health inspections, the school authorities will improve in providing adequate school facilities to realize a healthy school. Abstract

Cholelithiasis is one of the main causes of abdominal pain morbidity worldwide. The prevalence of cholelithiasis in developed countries is around 10-15% of the adult population, while in Asian countries the epidemiology of cholelithiasis ranges from 3-10%, with the prevalence of cholesterol cholelithiasis. This study aims to determine the relationship between clinical symptoms of cholelithiasis and abdominal USG findings at the radiology installation of Tidore Islands City Hospital. Methods: The type of research is observational with a cross-sectional study design. The research was conducted at the Radiology Installation of RSD Kota Tidore Kepulauan. The research sample consisted of 104 patients, with a total sampling method. Data were collected using secondary data obtained from the medical records of patients showing clinical symptoms of cholelithiasis from January to December 2023. data analysis used the Fisher’s exact test statistical method. Results and Discussions: The results of the study showed that the characteristics of patients aged 46-65 years were 50 people (48.1%), female gender was 66 people (63.5%), the largest patient clinical was cholelithiasis as many as 98 people (94.2%), the largest patient ultrasound findings were cholelithiasis as many as 98 people (94.2%), the results of the correlation between clinical cholelithiasis and ultrasound findings showed that clinical cholelithiasis with ultrasound findings of cholelithiasis was the most with a total of 95 people. The results of the Fisher's exact test obtained a p value = 0.002, which means that there is a correlation between clinical cholelithiasis and ultrasound findings of cholelithiasis.
