<![CDATA[Studi ini memiliki tujuan untuk menelaah peran dari firm age (AGE) dan firm size (SIZE) terhadap intellectual capital (VAIC) pada perusahaan indeks LQ45 selama periode 2022 hingga 2024 setelah masa pandemi dan di era VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity). Dalam lingkungan bisnis yang semakin bersifat VUCA, perusahaan dituntut untuk mampu beradaptasi terhadap perubahan yang cepat, ketidakpastian, kompleksitas, dan ambiguitas. Dalam kondisi tersebut, intellectual capital menjadi sumber daya strategis yang mendukung kemampuan adaptasi dan keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, AGE dan SIZE dipilih sebagai determinan intellectual capital karena keduanya merepresentasikan karakteristik internal perusahaan yang memengaruhi kapasitas adaptasi, pembelajaran organisasi, serta pemanfaatan sumber daya dalam menciptakan value added berbasis pengetahuan. Sampel ditetapkan dengan teknik purposive sampling, hasilnya didapatkan 30 perusahaan yang konsisten tercatat dalam daftar indeks LQ45 periode tahun 2022-2024. Data diolah dengan regresi linear data panel memanfaatkan software EVIEWS 12. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa variabel firm age berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap intellectual capital, sementara variabel firm size tidak memperlihatkan pengaruh signifikan pada variabel intellectual capital. Implikasi temuan ini, yakni perusahaan perlu mengetahui kapan melakukan adaptasi serta kapan mempertahankan stabilitas, perusahaan juga perlu mengelola serta memanfaatkan intellectual capital dengan efektif, dan mengalokasikan sumber daya dengan tepat untuk memaksimalkan nilai intellectual capital perusahaan. This research focus to study the effect of firm age (AGE) and firm size (SIZE) on intellectual capital (VAIC) in LQ45 index companies during the period 2022 to 2024 after the pandemic and in the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) era. In an increasingly VUCA business environment, companies are required to adapt to rapid change, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Under these conditions, intellectual capital serves as a strategic resource that supports a company’s adaptability and competitive advantage. Therefore, AGE and SIZE were selected as determinants of intellectual capital because both represent internal company characteristics that influence adaptability, organizational learning, and the utilization of resources in creating knowledge-based value added. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, consisting of 30 companies that were continuously listed on the LQ45 index during 2022-2024. Analysis was performed with panel linear regression using EVIEWS 12 software. The findings show that the firm age variable has a significant negative effect on intellectual capital, whereas the firm size variable does not have a significant effect on intellectual capital. The results of these findings are that companies need to know when to adapt and when to maintain stability, companies also need to manage and utilize intellectual capital effectively, and allocate resources appropriately to maximize the worth of the company's intellectual capital.]]>
