Abstract

E-Learning can be used as an alternative way in educational problems, whether as an addition, completion, or substitution of the teaching-learning process. It is very recommended for ICT (Information Communication and Technology)-based school. SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City has that kind of technology. It needs a new system called E-Learning. This system is made as a prototype which will be improved in the future. This prototype form of E-Learning system will be developed with facilities needed by the teachers, the students, and the school, such as sending files, showing videos, chatting, and quizzes. These facilities will encourage the students to learn. The writer expects that this prototype form of E-Learning system can help schools reach the educational goals of the country, Indonesia.

Abstract

Character education has been discussed for a long time, but has not brought significant changes to the world of education, on the contrary. All elements are expected to work together in solving this problem. Among parents, teachers and the community can provide examples and teachings related to character education by looking at Ki Hajar Dewantara and Ibn Miskawaih. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach that leads to character thinking through sources such as documentation, books, and journals. With the results of the research, the two figures have the same concept related to character education, namely prioritizing moral or moral aspects in education.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research which examines the implementation of cooperative learning “Jigzaw” to increase the students’ participation and achievement. Observation and test were used to know the students’ participation and achievement. The results had two cycles, and every cycle consists of six steps; orientation, division of origin group, determining materials, forming expert group, discussion, and presentation. The result showed there was development from cycle 1 to cycle 2, the percentage of students whose activity was in the low category continued decrease, namely 55%-13%-4% while moderate category is from 25%-35%-30%. while the high category is from 20%-52%-66%. The result showed students who passed KKM increased from 61 % to 86%, it means there were 97% of students who passed KKM. From the result above using jigzaw successfully increased students;

Abstract

Abstract Religious moderation, an attitude of mutual respect between religious communities, is very important to achieve harmony between religious communities, which ultimately will strengthen the unity of the nation and state. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, with primary data sources of school principals, teachers and students as well as documents. The results of this research are (1) Planning for Religious Moderation of Students at Kasiman State Middle School 1, Bojonegore Regency, including: Student selection, Indoctrination includes: having noble morals and competitiveness, Instrumentation includes: written and well-organized practice (2) Implementation of Moderation The religion of students at Kasiman State Middle School 1, Bojonegoro Regency includes: an attitude of tolerance, not being a group fanatic, respecting culture, prioritizing unity. Well done

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of parents in guiding or developing students, to find out what factors support and hinder the role of parents in improving student learning achievement, and to find out the role of parents in improving student learning achievement. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach, data obtained through observation, documentation and interview methods. The research results showed that the role of parents in improving student learning achievement in the family has gone quite well. The role of student parents is: 1) Parents who create a comfortable and calm home environment as well as good communication between parents and children; 2) Parents of students can organize activities and understand the student's situation. Problems faced by parents Improving academic achievement at home include: limited facilities; Children are less interested in learning, children's relationship with the environment; 3) Providing facilities to improve children's achievements; 4) Parents involve children in activities related to their learning, such as: tutoring or tutoring; 5) Controlling children studying at home and getting children to be disciplined with time when doing all activities. In conclusion, the role of parents in improving the learning achievement of grade 3 students at MI Assalam Bajo is very good, covering several aspects of both the role and educational and social background of parents. The role and attention of parents is an important factor that can influence children's learning achievement.

Abstract

Science learning in high school faces challenges in improving students' process skills, such as observation, experimentation, and analysis. One strategy that can be used to improve these skills is to develop Student Activity Sheets (SAS) that are tailored to the context and needs of students. This study aims to develop LAS that is effective in improving science learning process skills in high school. This type of research is a qualitative approach. The main data sources of this study include students and science teachers in several high schools, which were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the application of LAS specifically designed for science learning can increase students' involvement in learning activities and their ability to develop scientific process skills. A total of 85% of students showed improvement in active participation during experiments and class discussions, while 90% of students felt more engaged and able to understand the material better. Teachers also reported that the LAS helped lead students to apply science concepts in everyday life and strengthen their understanding of the scientific process. These findings indicate that the developed LAS can be an effective tool in improving students' process skills, as well as supporting more meaningful and active science learning at the high school level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (i) Mengkarakterisasi nanokristal selulosa kulit buah naga. (ii) Mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi H2SO4 optimum terhadap ukuran kristal nanoselulosa kulit buah naga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hidrolisis Asam dengan menggunakan 4000 gram kulit buah naga. Menggunakan larutan NaOH 7%. Larutan NaClO sebanyak 7,5%. Larutan H2O2 + NaOH 1%. Larutan H2SO4 sebanyak 50%. Disentrifugasi pada kecepatan 7500 rpm Variasi hidrolisis asam menggunakan larutan H2SO4 adalah 55% dan 50%. Hasil penelitian karakterisasi nanokristal selulosa menghasilkan kandungan 55% mempunyai indeks kristalinitas yang sedikit lebih tinggi (71%) dibandingkan dengan nanokristal selulosa 50% (68%) secara berbeda hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nanokristal selulosa 55% mempunyai indeks kristalinitas yang sedikit lebih tinggi. Struktur kristal yang lebih teratur. Ukuran partikel selulosa nanokristalin 55% memiliki rentang yang sedikit lebih sempit (5-30 μm) dibandingkan dengan selulosa nanokristalin 50% (7-40 μm). Sedangkan pengaruh konsentrasi H2SO4 menggunakan variasi 55% dan 50% menghasilkan ukuran nanokristal selulosa yang berbeda.
