Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the impact of gamification elements, specifically the duration of use and level of collaboration, on student motivation in online learning environments. Using the Team Games Tournament model, which combines elements of both competition and collaboration, a web-based Game-Based Learning application was developed to enhance student motivation. The study employed a motivation survey based on the model Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction, which was administered to participants before and after using the application. In addition to the survey, interaction data, such as the duration of application use, frequency of participation, points earned, and the level of collaboration, were collected to assess the relationship between these factors and student motivation. The study involved 20 fifth-semester students (12 male, 8 female) enrolled in a digital games course, many of whom had prior gaming experience, which could influence their response to the gamified learning experience. The data collected was analyzed using Decision Tree algorithms, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression to understand the impact of various gamification elements on motivation. The results showed that both the duration of application use and the level of collaboration were significant factors in increasing student motivation. Specifically, motivation increased by an average of 0.72 points for every 10 minutes of application use, as measured by the difference between pre-test and post-test survey scores. These findings underscore the importance of balancing competitive and collaborative elements within game-based learning environments. By incorporating features that promote collaboration and encouraging sustained application use, educators can significantly enhance student engagement and motivation. The study provides valuable insights for the development of future game-based learning applications, highlighting the need for optimal design in terms of collaboration and duration to create an effective and engaging digital learning experience.

Abstract

Numerous studies have addressed the classification of potato plants. However, the available datasets often lack the necessary diversity to improve the accuracy of predictive classification models effectively. Our research capitalizes on synthetic datasets generated through the Stable Diffusion 1.5 image generation method to address this challenge. This study suggests a new way to solve the problem by using artificial datasets created with the Stable Diffusion 1.5 method to teach a Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT) model how to identify diseases on potato leaves accurately. Our objective is to train the CvT model employing synthetic datasets to excel in detecting potato leaf diseases. Our methodology encompasses the model's training using synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5. We employ a comprehensive dataset of 11,121 synthetic images to train the Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT) model, which enables it to accurately identify various potato leaf diseases such as black leg/soft rot, mosaic, leaf roll, early blight, and late blight. We conduct evaluations at multiple training stages to gauge the model's performance and accuracy. The outcomes of our research underscore the effectiveness of employing synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5, which significantly augments the available image data while preserving a high level of accuracy. The CvT model proficiently identifies potato leaf diseases with an evaluation accuracy of 84%. Additional testing reveals that by the fifth epoch, the CvT model attains an accuracy of 81% when assessed using 82 randomly selected images of diseased plants from Google. The implications of this research are far-reaching, particularly within the domains of image processing and agriculture. The strategy of utilizing synthetic datasets to train the CvT model presents an efficient remedy to address the limitations of original image datasets. The adept disease detection capability of the CvT model holds the potential to expedite plant condition identification, mitigate crop loss, and ultimately amplify agricultural productivity. This study effectively demonstrates that the Convolutional Vision Transformer (CvT), when leveraged with synthetic datasets from Stable Diffusion 1.5, produces a model capable of accurately identifying potato leaf diseases. These findings bear positive implications for both the agricultural and image-processing sectors.

Abstract

The manufacturing engineering technology that is widely used to integrate activities, financial management, production, and projects into human resource management is Enterprise Resource Planning. One of them is Odoo which is utilized by an organic coconut processing company in Banyumas Regency. Investment in technology often raises pros and cons in a company, where technology investment cannot immediately provide benefits. So the attitude of Human Resources and the level of user readiness for the Adoo application really needs to be studied. The TRAM (Technology Readiness and Acceptance and Odel) method is a combination of the concepts of the Technology Readiness and Technology Acceptance Model, used to determine the effect of user readiness on technology acceptance in a company with the addition of one variable, namely perceived enjoyment. The results obtained by the five hypotheses are stated to have a positive and significant effect, while the two hypotheses are stated to have a negative and insignificant effect. Technology Readiness has a positive and significant effect on Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment, and Intention to use Odoo while Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use have a negative and insignificant effect on Intention to use Odoo. Perceived Enjoyment has a positive and significant effect on the Intention to use Odoo and is a factor that quite influences the readiness and acceptance of new technology. The results of the research can be used by companies to weigh and decide how the company is going towards technology. Considering that the cost of adopting technology is sufficient and significant, it cannot immediately provide benefits to the company, but the benefits can be felt several years later.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is estimated to eliminate 23 million jobs but create 46 million new types of jobs based on technology such as IoT, AI, and Big Data. This change demands the readiness of human resources, including in the MSME sector, as well as increased digital competency. Many companies now require skills certification in addition to formal diplomas. LMS (Learning Management Systems) are present as digital learning solutions that manage materials, assignments, and online learning interactions. However, most LMSs still focus on formal education, not on developing skills for high school/vocational school or university graduates. The aim of this research is to combine elements of LMS and job seekers in an effort to strengthen the advantages of future generations through competitive qualifications, skills, and technology in the industry. This platform allows collaboration with educational institutions, industry, and MSMEs to build a strong cooperative ecosystem in the socio-environmental field. Using the Prototype method as a software development method to support the success of the research. The LMS "Seeker" is present as a platform for providing competent workers through certified skills classes at affordable prices. Its advantages are a curriculum relevant to industry needs, increased workforce competitiveness, and access to broad job opportunities
