Abstract

This research aims to develop website learning media for the subject of Pancasila Education of Class IIA Students of SDN Pengadegan 07 South Jakarta. The method in this research is Research and Development (R&D), Dick and Carey development model with 10 stages used. This media was tested by several experts, namely media, language experts, material experts, students and teachers of class IIA. Data collection was done through interviews and observations. Validation results media by media experts get 85% with very valid qualifications, material experts on this media obtaining a very valid qualification with a percentage of 92%, language experts in this media obtained percentage 88%. In addition to validation by experts, website media has been implemented on teachers and students of class IIA SDN Pengadegan 07 South Jakarta. The results of this study show that development of website learning media for Pancasila Education subjects for grade students IIA at SDN Pengadegan 07 South Jakarta is suitable for use by teachers and class II students of the School Base

Abstract

Learning by using learning strategies that have been adapted to thecharacteristics of teachers and students, of course have more value.This study aims to develop a humor based learning strategy that creates active learning, creative and fun, is the goal of the research undertaken. This research is RnD (Research and Development ) which use 4- D development model (Define, Design, Develope, and Disseminate ). However, this stage of research has not yet done the dissemination of learning device development outcomes. The research instruments are questionnaires of teacher and student needs, observation sheet, interview, validation sheet, teacher and student response questionnaire, and science learning result test . Product from research in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), learning module, and Student Worksheet (LKS). The result of the research shows that 1) learning tools that refer to humor based learning strategy include learning implementation plan, learning strategy, and LKS according to expert judgment in general are included in good category, 2) student and teacher response to learning based on humor based learning strategy generally show senan g to the learning process using anew strategy of learning based on humor and has never been used before, and tersikrik with performance LKS learning, and 3) Strategy learning based humor is effectively used in distance learning in space. From the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the development of learning strategies based on humor, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This research uses a website-based wordwall learning model, a technology-based learning model that utilizes touchscreen technology as the primary medium in the teaching and learning process. The objectives of this research are: 1) To explain the steps for developing a website-based multiplication wordwall for second-grade mathematics at SD Negeri Grogol 2 Depok, 2) To describe the validation of the website-based multiplication wordwall for second-grade mathematics at SD Negeri Grogol 2 Depok, and 3) To describe the effectiveness of the website-based multiplication wordwall for second-grade mathematics at SD Negeri Grogol 2 Depok. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method, implemented over two cycles, one on a small scale and one on a large scale, using the Dick and Carey Model. The results of this study indicate that in cycle 1, student learning outcomes in multiplication increased by 85%, categorized as sufficient. The average score was only 85 out of all students' scores. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the implementation of the website-based wordwall media achieved a 90% improvement, categorized as very high. The average student learning achievement for cycle II was achieved. Based on these two cycles, it can be concluded that the implementation of the website-based wordwall media in Mathematics, particularly in the Multiplication subject, can improve student learning outcomes in Grade 2 of SDN Grogol 2 Depok.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium called the Data Pin Board to enhance students’ understanding of diagrams in mathematics for first-grade elementary students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg and Gall model, which consists of ten stages of development. The medium was designed as a magnetic board with movable pins and integrated QR codes that link to instructional videos and educational games. Validation results showed high feasibility, with scores of 90% from media experts and 94% from content experts. Field testing involving 32 students showed an increase in average scores from 62.8 to 81.5, with an N-Gain score of 0.56 (moderate category), and a very positive student response rate of 91%. This study offers novelty by integrating concrete and digital tools into an interactive medium tailored to the characteristics of young learners. These results demonstrate that the Papan Tempel Data is a feasible and effective instructional tool that enhances conceptual understanding of diagrams through an engaging, interactive, and concrete learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Acrylic Puzzle-based learning media and determine its effectiveness in improving the creativity of fourth-grade elementary school students in learning about plane shapes. The research was motivated by the lack of concrete and interactive media in mathematics learning, which often results in passive student participation and difficulty in understanding geometric concepts. The Acrylic Puzzle was designed to allow students to physically assemble and deconstruct two-dimensional shapes, making the learning process more enjoyable and meaningful. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants were fourth-grade students at SDN Jembatan Lima 03 Jakarta. Data were collected through observation, documentation, interviews, and pretest-posttest assessments of student creativity. The results showed that the Acrylic Puzzle media was both feasible and effective. Average creativity scores increased significantly, from 65.62 to 86.56 in the small-scale trial and from 69.69 to 92.18 in the large-scale trial. These findings suggest that the Acrylic Puzzle can serve as an effective interactive learning tool to support students’ creativity and understanding of two-dimensional shapes.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital audio comic as a learning media for the topic of facts and opinions in Indonesian language subject for fifth-grade students at SDN Larangan 1 Utara. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The media integrates visual elements in the form of digital comics and audio narration to enhance students' engagement and reading comprehension. Validation results from media experts, material experts, and language experts indicate that the developed media is appropriate for use. Small and large-scale trials show improvements in students' learning outcomes, proven by the comparison of pretest and posttest scores. Additionally, students responded positively to the media, stating it was interesting, easy to understand, and helpful in distinguishing between facts and opinions. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the digital audio comic media is effective in improving elementary students’ reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

In the beginning reading skilss primary school specifically of first grade student still has a role in supporting the growth and development of students’ potential, including improving their reading skills, to achieve those objectives). The purpose of this research was to (1) describe beginning reading skills and (2) determine the effectiveness of audio-visual flashcard learning media in improving beginning reading skills. This study’s approach employed quantitative research with classroom action research. The data were analyzed quantitatively using the Kemmis and Taggart models, which were implemented in two cycles consisting of (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The data was collected using observation, testing, and documentation techniques. The study’s findings indicated that using audio-visual flashcards could improve the beginning reading skills of first-grade students. This represents 59% of the 32 students. The study's findings indicated that using audio-visual flashcards could improve the reading skills of first-grade students. it was demonstrated that 84.4% or 27 students completed their courses, compared to the previous 19 students, or 59% of 32 students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena siswa SD kurangnya memahami materi satuan berat pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall, yaitu 1) Potensi dan Masalah, 2) Pengumpulan Data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Validasi Desain, 5) Revisi Produk, 6) Uji Produk, 7) Revisi Produk, 8) Uji Pemakaian, 9) Revisi Produk. Media pembeajaran tangga pintar materi satuan berat mendapatkan nilai dari ahli desain 85% ahli materi 88% ahli pelaksana pembelajaran 92% dengan katagori sangat valid atau layak digunakan pada saat pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran tangga pintar materi satuan berat terbukti memenuhi kevalidan dan efektif untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran di SD. Hasil uji kelayakan produk oleh skala besar yaitu mendapatkan presentase 91,03% dan uji efektifitas produk mendapatkan 62,70%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut media pembelajaran tangga pintar materi satuan berat dianggap layak dan efektik digunakan saat kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning Natural and Social Sciences in elementary schools plays a strategic role in developing students' holistic understanding of natural and social phenomena, including in the context of disaster mitigation education. However, the implementation of Natural And Social Sciences learning in the digital era still faces various gaps that have the potential to hinder students' optimal achievement of disaster mitigation competencies. This study aims to comprehensively examine the gaps in Natural And Social Sciences learning in disaster mitigation education in elementary schools in the digital era. This research used a qualitative approach with a systematic literature study design enriched by conceptual analysis. Data were obtained from reputable scientific articles published between 2018 and 2022 and accessed through the Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and dimensions of gaps in Natural And Social Sciences learning in the context of disaster mitigation education. The results indicate that gaps in Natural And Social Sciences learning consistently emerge across four main dimensions: curriculum, pedagogy, digital technology utilization, and student mitigation competencies. The largest gap was found in the dimension of digital technology utilization, which is still dominated by the use of technology as a medium for information delivery, followed by gaps in students' mitigation competencies, pedagogical approaches, and curriculum. These findings indicate that although the curriculum provides space for the integration of disaster mitigation education, the implementation of science and natural sciences learning has not fully supported meaningful, contextual learning oriented toward the formation of mitigation behaviors. This study concludes that the gap in science and natural sciences learning in disaster mitigation education stems not only from the curriculum but is more influenced by the weak integration between pedagogy, digital technology, and the disaster context. Therefore, it is necessary to develop inquiry-based science and natural sciences learning integrated with digital technology and the local disaster context to strengthen mitigation competencies and environmental awareness in elementary school students in the digital era.
