Abstract

Rupat Utara and Rangsang Pesisir are areas located in the border zone between Indonesia and Malaysia. The significant potential for external influence in the border areas affects the level of nationalism among the people in the Rupat Utara and Rangsang Pesisir regions. As for the sample in this study involved 35 teachers from state high schools in Rangsang Pesisir and Rupat Utara, with a regression coefficient value for the educator motivation variable (X) of 0.899 and a t-value of 4.826. The positive value of the educator motivation coefficient indicates that educator motivation has a direct relationship with the increase in teachers' nationalist attitudes. This shows that as educator motivation increases, so does the improvement in teachers' nationalist attitudes at public high schools in Rupat Utara and Rangsang Pesisir. The influence of educator motivation on the improvement of teachers' nationalist attitudes in state high schools in Rupat Utara District and Rangsang Pesisir District can contribute an impact of 41.4%, meaning that educator motivation can explain 41.4%. Meanwhile, the remaining 58.6% is influenced or explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Penarah, Kecamatan Belat, Kabupaten Karimun dalam memahami penyusunan laporan keuangan sesuai Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (SAK-EMKM). Banyak UMKM masih melakukan pencatatan keuangan secara sederhana sehingga informasi yang dihasilkan kurang mendukung pengelolaan usaha dan akses permodalan.Mitra UMKM terlibat secara aktif dalam diskusi dan praktik sederhana untuk memahami penerapan standar tersebut.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mulai memahami manfaat laporan keuangan yang sesuai standar dan termotivasi untuk menerapkannya dalam usaha mereka. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan tata kelola keuangan UMKM sehingga lebih transparan, akuntabel, dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM), Siswa Sekolah Negeri di Kecamatan Rupat Utara dan Masyarakat Sekitar untuk mensosialisasikan pentingnya penggunaan mata uang rupiah dalam transaksi sehari-hari, dimana wilayah rupat utara adalah wilayah perbatasan dengan wilayah negara Malaysia, dimana masih ditemukan penggunaan mata uang ringgit dalam transaksi jual beli Hasil. kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta yaitu Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menangah ( UMKM ), Siswa Sekolah SMA Negeri dan Masyarakat akan berkomitmen menggunakan mata uang rupiah karena mata uang rupiah adalah symbol negara wajib kita menjaganya.

Abstract

One of the historical and cultural tourism destinations is the Cultural Potential of Penyengat Island. The island is renowned for its heritage, offering cultural uniqueness from the various sites located there. The combination of three types of tourism makes this island an attractive destination to visit. This research was conducted on Penyengat Island and at the Department of Culture and Tourism of Tanjung Pinang City, as well as at historical, cultural, and religious tourism sites on Penyengat Island. The population in this study consists of tourists visiting the Penyengat Island tourist area, the exact number of whom is unknown. To determine the sample size, the researcher used the Lameshow formula, resulting in a research sample of 96 tourists. The contribution of the psychological, cultural, social, and fantasy variables has an influence of 60.4%, while the remaining 39.6% is caused by other variables not examined in this study. Meanwhile, the Department of Culture and Tourism is developing tourist attractions in the Penyengat Island area to be more appealing by revitalising several historical, religious, and cultural tourist sites to make them more attractive to tourists.

Abstract

Rumah Gadang as a characteristic of the Minangkabau ethnic group within the government of Povinsi Riau. Nowadays Rumah Gadang in Kuok regency of Kampar regency is abandoned by its owner and neglected to make its condition worrisome. Cultural place of residence, RumahGadang is a place of cultural social activities of Ethnic Minang in Kanagarian Kuok Kampar regency. In fact, Rumah Gadang is no longer functioned by the Kuok community in its role in Minangkabau adat. This paper highlights the existence of the current Gadang House in the socio-cultural life of the Kuok people. This research was conducted with qualitative research approach, with descriptive method. The data were collected by observation, interview, documentation and through bibliography. The research instrument is the researcher himself as a key instrument. From the results of research and data analysis that the existence of the Rumah Gadang (Lontiok House) is not fully intact, even some of it has been damaged and lost because in addition to changing times that are constantly changing, the condition of the area that is not supportive, and also because of the mobile community. Thus the status of Riau Province, especially Kampar Regency which was formerly a part of Minangkabau (West Sumatera) is not the influence of cultural objects (Rumah Lontiok) abandoned, changed, but because of socio-cultural change factors consisting of internal factors including factors family, economy, condition of building materials, new innovations, especially in the building system of the house

Abstract

Malays will not disappear from the world." The oath of Admiral Hang Tuah in the 15th century seemed to have received his "luck". When UNESCO designated Bandaraya Melaka as a World Heritage City on July 7, 2008, The aim of this research is to determine what factors influence the motivation of tourists visiting the Old City area of Bandaraya Melaka. The research methodology uses quantitative descriptive analysis with a sample size of 37 people. Variable (X1): psychological motivation has no effect on tourist motivation (Y), cultural motivation variable (X2) has no effect on tourist motivation (Y), social motivation variable (X3) has an effect on tourist motivation (Y), and fantasy motivation variable (X4) has an effect on tourist motivation (Y). The R2 value is 0.682, meaning that the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 68.2%. While the remaining 31.8%, other variables amounting to 31.8 percent could be from medical treatment, costs, and travel services, which were not examined in this research.

Abstract

Fraud is an unlawful act committed by individuals, either from within or outside an organization, with the intention of gaining personal or group benefits while causing harm to others. This study aims to analyze the influence of independence, experience, professional skepticism, competence, and time pressure on auditors' ability to detect fraud. The object of this research is auditors working at the Inspectorate of Kampar Regency, with a sample size of 42 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 30.The results show that independence, experience, competence, and time pressure have a significant influence on auditors’ ability to detect fraud. In contrast, professional skepticism does not have a significant influence. Simultaneously, all five independent variables significantly affect the auditors’ ability to detect fraud within the Inspectorate of Kampar Regency.

Abstract

This Research is carried out in the PT. PLN (Persero) Riau Region and Riau Islands, the purpose of this research is to know the process of recruitment of power implemented in the PT. PLN ( Persero ) Riau Region and Riau Islands. Data analysis in this research uses the qualitative descriptive results of the previous discussion, then the author can conclude that in the recruiting process of Power implemented at the level of Senior High School/Vocation Secondary School /level running well and in accordance with the process undertaken by the candidate employees until the employee is accepted as employee of the PT PLN (Persero). However, there are still empty posts in the Human Resource Development Unit section. This means that here there is an Empty post then the job of the post is done by the employees who are in the unit so that will make the achievement of the objectives of the company not achieved well and effectively.

Abstract

This research is based on the laundry service business which is currently developing rapidly. Laundry businesses must have certain strategies to be able to provide progress to their business because there are many competitors in the laundry services sector. Therefore, service quality is very influential in attracting customer satisfaction. The very rapid development of the business world has had an impact on the progress of the Laundry business, because currently only Laundry has developed a delivery service compared to other laundries in Siak Regency . The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of customer experience, trust and service quality on customer satisfaction at Laundry in Siak Regency. In this research, the sample consisted of 96 respondents using purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative using the multiple linear regression method. Based on the results of simultaneous tests, it can be seen that the influence variables Customer Experience, Trust, and Service Quality together influence customer satisfaction at Laundry in Siak Regency. Then, partially, from this test it can be seen that the influence variables of Customer Experience, Trust, and Service Quality have a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. The R square value obtained was 0.660 or equal to 60.6%, while the remaining 39.4% was influenced by other variables not studied.

Abstract

Teacher certification in Indonesia is intended to enhance teachers’ professional competence, yet empirical studies show inconsistent effects on instructional quality, particularly in Islamic school contexts. This study explores how certification is perceived and enacted in professional practice at MAN 2 Batam through a qualitative case study. Five participants were involved, including three certified teachers and two vice principals. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, FGDs, and document reviews, and analyzed using NVivo 15 through open and axial coding supported by thematic mapping via query and matrix functions. The findings reveal that certification fosters pedagogical reflection, strengthens administrative compliance, and expands access to professional development. However, its influence on teaching quality is not automatic and depends on institutional systems and academic supervision. The study concludes that certification should be integrated with sustained mentoring and professional learning communities to generate meaningful improvements in teaching practice and student learning.
