Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of product quality, price, location, promotion, distribution on consumer satisfaction of Salsabila Souvenir Shop in Padang City and examine and analyze the effect of product quality, price, location, promotion, and distribution simultaneously affect consumer satisfaction of Salsabila Souvenir Shop in Padang City. The type of research used is descriptive and causal research. The population in this study is all consumers of Salsabila Souvenir Shop in Padang City with a sample of 96 people. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires). The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result of this study is the presence of a negative but significant influence between product variables (X1) to variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction). There is a positive and significant influence between the price variable (X2) and the variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction). There is a positive and significant influence between the location variable (X3) and variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction). There is a positive and significant influence between the promotion variable (X4) and variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction). There is a negative and insignificant influence between the distribution variable (X5) and variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction). Product variables (X1), price (X2), location (X3), promotion (X4), and distribution (X5) simultaneously affect variable Y (Consumer Satisfaction) by 83.1% overall.

Abstract

Learning media is an instrument that greatly determines the success of the teaching and learning process. Because its existence can directly provide its own dynamics to students. After the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak had an effect on the world of education, changes to the learning system were directed to an online home study policy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Adobe Flash CS6 media in online learning towards competency achievement in the Pattiserie course. This research method uses a quantitative method by comparing student learning outcomes online during the pandemic with before the pandemic in the Pattiserie course at the IKK FPP UNP department. Based on data obtained from the 2017 and 2019 batch of Pattiserie semester scores, the average grade for the experimental class was 73.01 and the average grade for the control class was 88.53. From the results above, it can be concluded that a valid and practical media has not been able to replace the effectiveness of Pattiserie learning, in other words, this Pattiserie course is more competent if it is carried out practically in a laboratory because the hierarchy of practical courses must be carried out in a laboratory/workshop.

Abstract

This research the integration of andragogy and project-based learning (PjBL) to enhance life skills competency among adult learners in a fashion training program at LKP Anggrek Padang, Indonesia. Despite the potential of PjBL to foster practical and cognitive skills, its effectiveness in informal adult education remains limited when disconnected from adult-centered learning principles. Using descriptive qualitative methods—participant observation, interviews with 12 learners and one instructor, and document analysis—this study examines how instructional practices align with Malcolm Knowles’ andragogical principles. Findings show that while PjBL engaged learners in collaborative garment-making projects, teaching remained teacher-centered, with rigid instructions and external evaluations. Learner autonomy, experiential reflection, and intrinsic motivation were underemphasized, resulting in missed opportunities to develop critical life skills such as problem-solving, self-direction, and adaptability. The misalignment between adult learners’ characteristics and pedagogical approach highlights a gap in instructor understanding of andragogy. The study concludes that effective life skills development requires more than PjBL implementation—it demands intentional integration with andragogical foundations. Recommendations include andragogy-based teacher training and curriculum redesign for vocational programs targeting adults.

Abstract

Abstrak: Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong ekonomi lokal dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Namun, UMKM sering menghadapi kendala dalam kemampuan pemasaran yang efektif. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan promosi produk bagi UMKM Buncha melalui pelatihan pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan mentoring. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh lima peserta dari UMKM Buncha yang terdiri dari pemilik usaha, karyawan, dan staf pemasaran. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 8 item pertanyaan untuk mengukur pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan peserta tentang pemasaran produk, dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 3,60 menjadi 5,80 (p = 0,029). Kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta dalam melakukan strategi promosi produk, yang diharapkan dapat mendukung daya saing UMKM Buncha di pasar.Abstract: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in driving the local economy and improving community welfare. However, MSMEs often face challenges in developing effective marketing capabilities. This community service activity aims to enhance the product promotion knowledge of Buncha MSMEs through marketing training. The methods used include lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and mentoring. The activity was attended by five participants from Buncha MSMEs, consisting of business owners, employees, and marketing staff. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires consisting of 8 items to measured participants' knowledge before and after the training. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' knowledge of product marketing, with the average score increasing from 3.60 to 5.80 (p = 0.029). This training activity successfully enhanced participants' knowledge of product promotion strategies, which is expected to support the competitiveness of Buncha MSMEs in the market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada mata pelajaran Mengolah Makanan Indonesia di SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kreativitas dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran yang masih didominasi metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen One Group Pretest–Posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 105 siswa kelas XII Kuliner, yang terdiri dari 70 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes pretest dan posttest, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kreativitas siswa setelah penerapan model TPS, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai N-Gain pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Model TPS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran kuliner. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMK.
