Abstract

Changes in the context of education are always made in order to improve the quality of education output. One learning model that can be applied is thematic learning with a scientific approach. A scientific approach is a learning process that uses a scientific thought process. Where learning is very important for students to find and build their own knowledge that is fun and meaningful. The purpose of this research is to get a picture of the implementation of a scientific approach in thematic learning in class VI SDN 033 Asmi Bandung. This research is a descriptive research. The research subjects in this study were model teachers (lecturers who teach in schools) and class VI A students at SDN 033 Asmi. Data collection tools in this study are interview guidelines, observation sheets and study documentation. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the model teacher had implemented learning using a scientific approach which was carried out through the steps of the activity: 1) observing, 2) asking questions, 3) trying, 4) associating, and 5) communicating. Each step has been implemented well but not always done sequentially on every learning that is done. Thematic learning with a scientific approach has made the learning process more active and enjoyable. So that students really become the center of activity in the learning process that takes place.

Abstract

Literacy of science is very important to be mastered by each individual to be able to adapt to the progress of science and technology in the future. One attempt to improve the ability of science literacy through the analysis of textbooks lessons. The type of research used is descriptive, by collecting data in the form of documentation study. The sample in this research is several pages of analyzed books taken in a random way using multistage sampling technique. The results show 21% of the book presents the aspect of science as a way of thinking. The aspect is presented on the entire theme of the book with various values. In themes 1 and 2 this aspect is often presented that is equal to 71%, and 51%. The following findings show that Book Y simply presents aspects of science as a way of thinking. In other words, Book Y is enough to emphasize material that supports the mastery of the process.

Abstract

Maraknya permainan modern saat ini secara tidak langsung telah menggeser kedudukan permainan tradisional, sehingga menimbulkan efek negatif terhadap perkembangan anak, baik secara fisik, psikis, dan sosial. Berbagai kemudahan untuk mengakses permainan modern berdampak anak lebih tertarik memainkan permainan modern dibandingkan permainan tradisional yang membutuhkan sarana prasarana yang cukup luas untuk bermain. Sedangkan saat ini sarana prasarana permainan tradisional sangat terbatas mengingat kesediaan lahan untuk bermain yang tergusur oleh bangunan-bangunan perkotaan menyebabkan anak-anak harus bermain di dalam ruangan. Oleh karena itu dirasa perlu untuk melakukan program kemitraan masyakat (PKM) yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada kelompok masyarakat tertentu. Dalam hal ini, menitikberatkan pada pengelolaan sarana prasarana dalam melestarikan permainan tradisional khususnya di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini melalui penyelenggaraan seminar dan sosialisasi mengenai pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana dalam menunjang pelestarian permainan tradisional guna meningkatkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa kepada siswa sekolah dasar yang sesuai dengan Kurikukulm 2013 tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai karakter orang Sunda. Adapun solusi yang kami lakukan adalah terbentuknya kemitraan dalam menemukan solusi untuk melestarikan permainan tradisional dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan sarana prasarana permainan tradisional yang terdapat di SD yang memadai sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Oleh karena itu, penting menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa pada siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam rangka membentuk generasi milenial yang berlandaskan literasi budaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata kunci: sarana dan prasarana, permainan tradisional, dan program kemitraan masyakat (PKM).The rise of modern games has indirectly shifted the position of traditional games, causing negative effect on child development, both physically, psychologically, and socially. Various facilities to access modern games have made children more interested in playing modern games than traditional games that require extensive infrastructure to play. While currently traditional games infrastructure facilities are very limited considering the availability of land to play which is displaced by urban buildings causes children to play indoors. Therefore, it is necessary to do a community partnership program (CPP) which aims to overcome problems in certain community groups. In this case, it focuses on managing of facilities and infrastructure in preserving traditional games, especially in elementary schools. The method used in this PKM is through organizing seminar and socialite arrangement for the management of the facilities and infrastructure to support the conservation of traditional games in order to improve the values of the nation’s character to elementary school student in accordance with the 2013 curriculum without leaving the Sundanese character values. The solution that we do is the forming of a partnership in finding solution to preserve traditional games in the management and development of traditional game infrastructure in elementary schools that are adequate according to their needs. Therefore, it is important to instill national character values in elementary school student in order to form millennial generations based on cultural literacy in daily life.Keyword: facilities and infrastructure, traditional games, and community partnership program (CPP)

Abstract

Education that integrates character education in the learning process oriented towards the formation of the child as a whole human being. Therefore, character education can not be excluded.As for the impact of rapid globalization, resulting in decreased values ​​of the nation's character. Upaya solving these problems is to provide guidance in enhancing the ability of educators in shaping the character of the nation's values ​​of elementary school students. Goal of this activity is the Teachers Working Group (KKG) in SD BPI and KKG in SDN 208 Luginasari.The method used in the form of seminars and workshops in the form of knowledge and skills to carry out learning activities that includes character education through the medium of the traditional game. Then do the teacher mentoring in order to ensure that they practiced with good results briefing in seminars and workhsop has done. Mentoring is very useful because many intertwined transfer of knowledge between teachers and Service Team. PKM activity can be said to have contributed to the development of character values ​​of the nation. However, such activities still need to be disseminated to a wider audience.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of students abilty to master science material, aspecially in the material human digestive organs in grade V SD Negeri 3 Jangkurang which is still low. This is because teachers still use convensional learning methods in the learning process. So that student do not get the opportunity to understand the subject matter. The problem in this research is “What Is The Aplplication Problem Based Learning Models Can Improve The Learning Outcomes Of Grade V Students SDN 3 Jangkurang On The Material Of Human Digestive Organs”. Essentially science learning science learning is the result human activitiesin the form of knowledge, organized ideas and concepts about natural environment, derived from experience through a series of scientific processes among others investigation, of the preparation and testing of ideas. The methods used in this study is Classroom Action Research with research subjects are SDN 3 Jangkurang Students, Jangkurang Village, Kadungora District, Garut Subdistrict. With the number of student are 15 peoples. Consisting of 6 male students and 9 female students. This research consist of 3 cycles. The implementation of each cycle is directed at learning activities using the models Problem Based Learning (PBL) which is used as an science learning plan on human digestive organs. From the learning process that has been carried out the result of science learning are obtained, which shows an increase in each cycle starting from cycle I, II, and III. In cycle I there were ten students (67 %) who scored <70 , and five students (33%) who scored > 70. In cycle II there were five students (33%) who scored < 70, and ten students (67%) who scored > 70. In cycle III there were four students (67 %) who scored <70 , and eleven students (73%) who scored > 70. The Aplplication Problem Based Learning Models can improve the learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes by using powerpoint learning media of class V students in SDN 265 Bandungkulon. This research is a class action research (PTK) that is qualitative descriptive by using a qualitative approach that is reinforced by a quantitative approach, by taking the background of SDN 265 Bandungkulon. The subject of this research is the students of class V/C SDN 265 Bandungkulon, while the object of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of learners by using powerpoint learning media on thematic learning of class V theme 1 Subtheme 3. This research was conducted in three cycles and through four stages. includes: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through observation, learning implementation, live tests and documentation. The results of this study show that the application of powerpoint learning media can improve the learning outcomes of learners. The improvement of learners' learning outcomes can be measured from the evaluation of cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. Seen the increase in learning outcomes of learners from cycle I to cycle III who have met the learning achievement, namely in cycle I by 41.37% (12 learners), in cycle II by 62.06% (18 learners) and in cycle III by 79.31%(23 learners). The results of research in SDN 265 Bandungkulon have been achieved well, that is, there is an increase in learners' learning outcomes with the application of powerpoint learning media.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematical understanding of the fourth grade students of SDN 3 Cileuleuy on the matter of adding fractions. Based on the results of observations, only 3 students out of 11 students obtained test scores above/equal to the KKM 70. So this study aims to improve students' mathematical understanding of fraction addition material in class IV SDN 3 Cileuleuy through the use of Model Pembelajaran Based Learning (PBL) models. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research design consisted of 2 cycles where the research subjects were 11 students of class IV SDN 3 Cileuleuy consisting of 8 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests (evaluation tests) and non-tests (observations and documentation). The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative to analyze the results of evaluation tests and qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the results of student evaluations. The results showed that there was an increase in students' mathematical understanding from before giving the action until the second cycle. Individual completeness before giving the action is 3 students with classical completeness reaching 27% and the average value obtained is 63.18. Then in the first cycle, 7 students obtained individual mastery with an average value of 70.27 and classical learning completeness of 63%. In the second cycle, individual mastery increased to 10 students with an average value of 81.89 and classical learning completeness increased to 85%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve students' mathematical understanding of ordinary fractions in the fifth grade of SDN 3 Cileuleuy in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

It is very important for students to master literacy and numeracy skills so that they can live a good career and social life. Because through good literacy and numeracy skills, individuals can make the right decisions. However, it is unfortunate that some data shows that the literacy and numeracy results of students in Indonesia are not encouraging enough. This then encourages various efforts to resolve these problems. The Teaching Campus under the auspices of the MBKM Program is one of the leading programs to continue to improve Indonesia's numeracy literacy capabilities. On this occasion, the school assigned to Teaching Campus 5 in question was SDN Tarumsari. The method we use to increase students' numeracy literacy scores is school observation, pretest, FKKS, program design, program implementation, and posttest. The findings from the results of the program implementation were that there was an increase in students' numeracy literacy scores in the pretest and posttest. Therefore, we believe that the program designed has been implemented well in line with expectations.

Abstract

Rapid technological and information developments have impacted changes in various lines of life. The big impact that arises from the changes that occur is the decline in the values of the nation's character. The problem solving effort is by providing guidance in improving the ability of educators in shaping the values of the national character of elementary school students. The targets in this activity are the Teacher Working Group (KKG) in SD PBI and KKG in SDN 208 Luginasari. The method used in the form of organizing seminars and workshops on the role of teachers in building national character values to elementary school students. The activity was carried out quite well. Teachers are given debriefing and skills to carry out learning activities that contain character education through traditional game intermediaries. Suggestions for the achievement of the objectives of this activity is that assistance is still needed for the teacher so that the teachers can consistently transform their knowledge and skills in the path that we all expect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media pembelajarans Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas III SDN 066 Halimun. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik Kelas III. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design yang melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model PBL berbantuan media Quizizz dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen berlangsung lancar dan sesuai dengan tahapan sintaks, serta mampu meningkatkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik. Sebaliknya, pembelajaran konvensional cenderung berpusat pada guru dan kurang mendorong partisipasi aktif peserta didik. Berdasarkan analisis data, ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah perlakuan diberikan. Hasil uji gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,65 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,47 yang juga termasuk dalam kategori sedang, namun dengan selisih peningkatan yang lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. Selain itu, hasil uji effect size sebesar 0,912 berada dalam kategori tinggi, yang mengindikasikan bahwa model PBL berbantuan media Quizizz memberikan pengaruh yang kuat terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Quizizz terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik sekolah dasar.
