Abstract

This study aims to develop digital science teaching materials based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach for the cultural diversity material for fourth grade elementary school students in the form of traditional food in North Sumatra that is valid and effective for use in learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of validators, expert questionnaire instruments, material experts, language experts, digital experts, class teachers, and fourth grade students of Lubuk Pakam National Private Elementary School. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaire validation, and student response questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the digital teaching materials based on the CRT approach obtained a very valid category based on the assessment of expert questionnaire instruments, material experts, language experts, and digital experts. Student responses showed a very good category so that the teaching materials were declared effective for use in science learning on the cultural diversity of traditional food in North Sumatra. Thus, the digital science teaching materials based on the CRT approach are suitable for use to improve students' understanding of North Sumatran culture in fourth grade at Lubuk Pakam National Private Elementary School. Keywords: Digital open materials, CRT, IPAS, Cultural Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital IPAS berbasis pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada materi keragaman budaya kelas IV SD berupa makanan tradisional di Sumatera Utara yang valid dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengambangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas validator ahli instrumen angket validasi, ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli digital, guru kelas, dan peserta didik kelas IV SD Swasta Nasional Lubuk Pakam. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket validasi, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar digital berbasis CRT memperoleh kategori sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli instrumen angket validasi, ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli digital. Respon peserta didik menunjukkan kategori sangat baik sehingga bahan ajar dinyatakan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi keragaman budaya makanan tradisional di Sumatera Utara. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar digital IPAS berbasis pendekatan CRT layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap budaya Sumatera Utara di kelas IV SD Swasta Nasional Lubuk Pakam. Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital evaluation tool for Pancasila Education on the topic of rules at home and school for second-grade elementary students. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of the needs analysis indicate that students' learning interest is relatively low due to the use of conventional evaluation methods that are less interactive. Therefore, a digital evaluation based on a contextual approach was developed using the Educaplay platform. The product was validated by media experts and material experts before implementation. The findings show that the digital evaluation is valid, feasible, and effective in increasing students' motivation and understanding. The use of interactive and visual-based digital evaluation helps students comprehend learning materials more easily and enhances engagement in the learning process. This study implies that digital evaluation can be an innovative solution in improving learning assessment in elementary schools.
