Abstract

This research aims to determine the importance of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning discipline at SDN 008 Kemuning Muda, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research were class VI teachers, class I teachers, and the principal at SDN 008 Kemuning Muda. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The main instrument is the researcher using observation guide tools, interview guidelines, document sheets. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation of techniques and sources. The research results show that the importance of pedagogical competence has a big impact on student learning discipline. The research results show that the pedagogical competence of class VI teachers and class I teachers at SD Negeri 08 Kemuning Muda is quite good but not optimal. This is because the teacher's pedagogical competence makes some students disciplined in learning, but the teacher has not optimally implemented learning according to the indicators of pedagogical competence. Of the seven indicators of pedagogical competence in this research, there are 2 indicators that teachers do not yet have optimally, such as indicators of mastery of learning theories and learning principles, and assessment and evaluation of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between social attitudes and student chemistry learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of ex-post facto quantitative research involved 203 students of class XII science which was determined by using multistage random sampling technique from a total population of 406 students at Madrasah Aliyah Mataram. Social attitude data were obtained from questionnaires and learning outcomes data were obtained from description questions on the colligative properties of solutions. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the categories for social attitudes and student chemistry learning outcomes were in the moderate category with a percentage of 68,5% and 66%, respectively. Of the seven element of social attitudes, the highest value is found in the element of tolerance and the lowest value is found in the honest element. The results of the analysis show that social attitudes and student chemistry learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic have a positive and significant relationship although it is very low (rxy = 0,24). Based on these results, it can be concluded that social attitudes can affect student chemistry learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XII IPA at Madrasah Aliyah Mataram, although the effect is relatively low. It is hoped that these findings will be taken into consideration by schools so that they can take appropriate policies so that student learning outcomes are better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap manfaat budaya monarki dalam upaya penguatan identitas nasional melalui fungsi simbolisasi raja. Menggunakan studi kasus monarki di Indonesia dan Jepang, menggali bagaimana raja-raja menjalankan perannya ditengahmasyarakatnya menunjukan bahwa keberadaan raja sebagai symbol utama suatu budaya monarki dapat memperkuat pengaruh nilai-nilai budaya dalam memandu dan menjaga kehidup masyarakat budaya tersebut. Hal ini dapat menjadi suatu strategi pembelajaran dalam upaya penguatan identitas nasional. Perbandingan peran raja di Indonesia dan jepang menunjukan bahwa terdapat kekurangan dan kelebihan dalam pengupayaan penguatan identitas nasional. Oleh karena itu saling mempelajari kelebihan dan kekurangan dari kedua Negara dapat memperbaiki dan mengembangkan makna dan implementasi identitas nasional yang lebih berdaya guna bagi eksistensi Negara.
