Abstract

Abstract - One problem that is often faced by internet users is slow internet access. Specifically, when there are many users sharing internet bandwidth. This problem can occur because no bandwidth management system is used. Therefore it is necessary to apply the appropriate bandwidth management, one of which is HTB. Bandwidth management with queuing bandwidth lending techniques between classes or users. Which can allocate bandwidth according to user bandwidth requirements according to specified priorities. This study uses data collection methods, by observing and recording directly at the research site (observation), conducting question and answer directly to the source (Interview), and documentation by reading literary books. The results obtained from the measurement of QoS parameters using the HTB method on the Bina Insan University network, it can produce an average QoS index value of 3, and included in the category is good. It can be concluded that the HTB method is feasible to be applied at UNIBI in performing bandwidth management as evidenced by the 3 (three) QoS index value and has a  good category.  Keywords: Quality Of Service, Hierarchical Token Bucket, Computer Network

Abstract

Layoffs are the most feared thing for every employee.  There are many reasons behind a termination.  For example, the company is experiencing a decline in terms of revenue so it feels necessary for a reduction in employees.  Then the mistakes made by the employee itself such as criminal acts or mistakes in the work, or perhaps the personal desire of the employee himself due to personal reasons. But in the event of termination of employment, the leadership should be wise so as not to happen things that can interfere with the sustainability of the company. Because often the assessment given to employees is not subjective so it harms the employee itself. To overcome this, a decision support system is needed that can help the leadership to be able to take good policies. This decision-making system (SPK) requires a method in the process of completion. There are many methods that can be used one of them is the WASPAS method. The purpose of this research is to give an overview to the leadership in order to make good decisions so as not to harm employees. The results obtained by Karywan with the smallest value will be laid off. The smallest value is obtained by employee no. 4 with a value of 0.75

Abstract

The need for an analysis of the classification at SMA Negeri 1 Musi Rawas was the reason for conducting research on the clasification of the economic abilities of new student, determining classification in large numbers was impossible to do manually because it required quite a long time. For that we need a method that can solve classification problems automatically with a computer. in classifying an application in the form of orange is used and in analyzing using the K-Nearest Neighbor method because it has the working principle of fiding the shortest distance between the data to be evaluated with the nearest K in the training data. This study aims to apply the orange application using the K-Nearest Neighbor method and find out what the level of accuracy is with the K-Nearest Neighbor method. From this study the training data is 150 and testing 1 with a K value of 50 gets an accuracy value of 92%.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there has never been a prediction of student graduation, especially the Faculty of Engineering using the KNN algorithm at Bina Insan Lubuklinggau University and it is necessary to evaluate student graduation both in a timely and untimely manner so that we can compare from year to year whether it is increasing or decreasing. student graduation each year. The research method used is the method of analysis by making predictions using the KNN algorithm. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study are the implementation of predictions for graduating students at Bina Insan University using the KNN algorithm in Rstudio. Implementation is done by preparing a dataset that will be used for predictions. The dataset is divided into two, namely training data and testing data. Then set the category column as the predictive determinant. Furthermore, the data that has been prepared is normalized so that it can be implemented into the KNN algorithm. Installing the required libraries into Rstudio. Perform prediction calculations using KNN. Displays accuracy results and displays graphs. Based on the results and discussion that has been done, it is obtained that the prediction of Computer Systems Engineering students graduating on time is 0.91 or 91%. Whereas for students majoring in Information Systems graduating on time is 0.70 or 70%. Then for the Informatics Engineering major, graduates on time are 0.80 or 80%. Based on the results of these predictions, the student with the highest prediction of graduating on time is Computer Systems Engineering with a passing percentage of 91%.

Abstract

Cat feeding is still done manually without a system and there is no monitoring system for cat food leftovers that can be accessed through the website, Build a Monitoring System and Automatic Cat Feeder at Hiro CatShop Based on the Internet Of Things (IoT) that can monitor and provide food cat automatically and can be accessed remotely via the Website. The method that the author uses in conducting this research is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research methods seek an understanding of meaning, understanding, reality, events, or life by being directly and/or indirectly involved in the environment under study. cat in place, DHT11 sensor as a temperature detector in the room around the cat food place, servo motor as a means of opening the lid for cat food that comes out according to a predetermined schedule, NodeMCU to read and send sensor data into the database With an automatic cat feeding monitoring system this will make it easier for shop owners or shop employees to monitor cat feeding through the website, shop owners don't need to be afraid anymore if it's too late to feed the cat and waste too much time to come to the cat feeding place and also don't need to be afraid of losing n data caused by lost records (human error).

Abstract

In determining the best Sector Police, many criteria must be had by every Sector Police to be the best. Some of the criteria used to determine the best Sector Police are Polsek services, completion of the crime, number of personnel, cleanliness of the Sectoral Police, and number of criminal acts. Determination of the best Sector Police to improve the performance of personnel so that they are encouraged to be better at doing their jobs than before. To avoid mistakes and be precise in determining the best Police Sector, a decision support system is needed. In this study, a case will be raised, namely finding the best alternative based on the existing criteria using the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method. The COPRAS method is used to analyze different alternatives and estimate alternatives according to the level of utility where the values of the attributes are expressed in intervals to increase efficiency and increase accuracy in the decision-making process.

Abstract

Parkir merupakan tempat pemberhentian kendaraan baik roda dua maupun roda empat yang bisa bersifat sementara maupun jangka panjang tergantung kebutuah dari pengguna. Tatanan letak parkir kendaraan juga berpengaruh kepada laju kendaraan yang akan keluar atau masuk. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menciptakan sebuah sitem yang dapat membantu pengguna dalam hal ini Dosen, Mahasiswa dan tamu yang berkunjung ke Universitas Bina Insan dapat menemukan lahan parkir kosong dengan cepat dan mudah. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT (Internet of Things) dan metode Prototype, nantinya penelitian dapat memberi kemudahan dalam mencari lahan parkir kosong sehingga ketertiban kedaraan yang berada dilahan parkir dan yang keluar atau masuk di universitas Bina Insan berjalan dengan baik. Hasil dari penelitian adalah snsor ultrasonic yang terpasang dapat memberiakn data secara realtime ke website bahwa lahan parkir kosong atau penuh dan data tersbut akan di tampilkan di monitor.

Abstract

Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah belum adanya sistem pengawasan dan pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan diruangan dapur Recheese Factory, sehingga harus dilakukan secara manual sedangkan lokasi dari daput tersebut berada di dalam Lippo Mall. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan observasi dimana informasih didapatkan dari responden melalui wawancara secara langsung dengan Kepala dan pegawai Recheese Factory sebagai sumber informasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alat monitoring ini mampu untuk mengamati perubahan suhu, kelembapan dengan menggunakan sensor DHT11 yang dihubungkan ke mikrokontroler arduino uno dan di tampilkan ke Thingspeak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mekanisme sistem monitoring telah bekerja dengan baik dengan durasi yang relatif tertentu yaitu tiga hari pemasangan (setting) dan dengan menggunakan sistem IoT sehingga monitoring dapat dilakukan dimanapun selama memiliki akses.
