Abstract

Open pit mining is a mining system that is commonly applied to coal extraction activities. Environmental problems in coal mining activities are generally related to acid mine drainage (AMD). Efforts to overcome the impact of AMD can be done by phytoremediation in constructed wetlands (CW). Plants that have the potential for AMD phytoremediation include Pistia stratiotes L (water lettuce) and Salvinia molesta Mitchell (giant Salvinia) , so it is necessary to conduct research on the effectiveness of the combination of P. stratiotes and S. molesta to be developed on CW vegetation. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), with 3 treatments using P. Stratiotes, S. Molesta, Combination of P. stratiotes and S. molesta each 9 replications. The results showed the effectiveness of phytoremediation using plant vegetation of P. stratiotes and S. molesta in increasing pH by 40.04% and reducing sulfate levels by 41.72%. The effectiveness of the combination of P. stratiotes and S. molesta in reducing levels of Mn and Fe were 101.36% and 93.49%, respectively. The decrease in TSS levels is better done by the combination of P. stratiotes and S. Molesta vegetation compared to P. stratiotes or S. Molesta vegetation alone, but the better growth rate occurred in S. molesta vegetation only.

Abstract

The agrarian reform program launched by the government basically aims to improve the welfare of the people, especially landless farmers. Through Presidential Regulation Number 86 of 2018 concerning Agrarian Reform, the government is trying to redistribute land for farmers, including those carried out in Kubu Raya Regency. However, in practice the land redistribution program carried out by the government isn’t in accordance with the procedures stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 86 of 2018. Of the 10 access arrangement activities as stated in Presidential Regulation Number 86 of 2018, only 2 activities were carried out by Kubu Raya District Land Office. Before carrying out the implementation of land redistribution, the Land Office must first make a plan which is preceded by the preparation of operational instructions. Counseling on land redistribution activities should be carried out at the planning stage. In practice, the Kubu Raya Land Office doesn’t go through established mechanisms or procedures and directly conducts counseling at the implementation stage of activities that should have been carried out at the planning stage. In addition, the Land Office doesn’t control land whose area exceeds the maximum land ownership limit, which the government wants to control through the agrarian reform program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge and tax digitalization on MSME taxpayer compliance, with tax socialization as a moderator—data analysis using the PLS-SEM method with Smart PLS 4.0, which has 105 samples. The results of this study indicate that tax knowledge and digitalization positively affect MSME taxpayer compliance. Tax socialization weakens the impact of tax knowledge on compliance but does not moderate tax digitalization.

Abstract

The land acquisition process requires the involvement of various parties, one of which is the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT). PPAT has an important role in ensuring the validity of land administration through the creation of authentic deeds, such as deeds of sale and purchase, deeds of gift, and deeds of release of rights. In the context of land acquisition for public interest, the authority and responsibility of PPAT are very crucial in ensuring legal certainty for all parties involved. This study aims to find out and understand the authority of PPAT in the process of land acquisition for public interest and to analyze the legal responsibility of PPAT in making words related to land acquisition. The type of research used in this thesis is normative legal research, namely research that focuses on the study of laws and regulations, legal doctrine, legal principles, and relevant literature. This study is used to analyze the authority and responsibility of PPAT as regulated in the positive legal system in Indonesia, especially in the context of land acquisition for public interest. The results show that the PPAT's authority in land acquisition for public interest is to make authentic deeds related to the transfer of land rights, such as deeds of sale and purchase, deeds of release of rights, and deeds of gift. This authority is administrative in nature and does not include the assessment of compensation or determination of land acquisition policies and the legal responsibilities of the PPAT include ensuring the validity of documents and the identities of the parties, as well as ensuring that the transferred land is not in dispute. PPAT's negligence can have legal consequences, both administrative, civil, and criminal.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Powtoon-based learning media on material to recognize personal letters and official letters for class VII students in Sitiung 1 Public Middle School. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with a 4D development model, which includes the define stage, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted at the Sitiung 1 Public Middle School in the 2024/2025 school year with the research subjects was a class VII student amounting to 31 people. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaire response students and teachers, as well as validation sheets involving media experts, material experts, and luition experts. The results of this study showed researchers to produce Powtoon-based learning media as material learning media comparing personal letters and official letters, the media said valid, seen from the validation of media experts obtained a score of 81.25% and included the "Very Valid" category, the validation of the material expert obtained a score 90.63% included the "Very Valid" category, the validation of linguists obtained a score of 92.86% including the "Very Valid" category. This means that learning media are worthy of use by educators and students. The results of the assessment of practicality carried out by educators obtained a score of 88.64% including the category of "very valid" and class VII students obtained a score of 84.99% including the "Very Valid" category. It can be concluded that podcast-based learning media that have been developed by researchers are feasible to use, because they have fulfilled the category, valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Tourism courses assist pre-service English teachers in developing their English abilities in the appropriate contexts. The pre-service English teachers learn particular terminology and the application of English in the tourism business, such as identifying tourist sights and culture and communicating with international guests. Quizizz is one of the exciting learning evaluation media which is commonly used in a learning process. This study aims to explore the pre-service English teachers’ voices toward the use of Quizizz in learning Tourism. In collecting the data, the researchers used a questionnaire. The questionnaire was adopted from the previous study, which was conducted by Basuki (2019). The participants were 30 pre-service English teachers of an Islamic state university in Central Java, Indonesia. Based on the analyzed data, it was found that the pre-service English teachers who participated in this study favoured incorporating Quizizz as a website and app into their tourism studies. Furthermore, most of them agreed to use Quizizz in their future lectures
