Abstract

Cuaca merupakan suatu hal yang sangat vital dalam kehidupan manusia sehari-hari. Hampir seluruh aktifitas yang dilakukan manusia di dunia ini tidak dapat lepas dari keadaan cuaca yang berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, pengamatan cuaca di sini sangatlah diperlukan untuk melakukan prediksi tentang cuaca. Jalur pantura adalah salah satu jalur yang sangat penting bagi pulau Jawa, khususnya jalur pantura Tegal-Pekalongan-Semarang, sehingga dibutuhkan semacam prediksi cuaca untuk mengetahui intensitas hujan di jalur ini. Algoritma C4.5 yang selama ini banyak digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi sekaligus prediksi terbukti relatif akurat dalam melakukan proses prediksi ini. Namun, di lain sisi dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan teknologi komputasi, maka nilai akurasi ini masih dapat ditingkatkan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan discretize by frequency  dalam langkah preprocessing data. Hasil akurasi menunjukkan, bahwa sebelum dilakukan discretize by frequency dalam langkah preprocessing data nilai akurasi C4.5 adalah 72,99% dan setelah dilakukan discretize by frequency dalam langkah preprocessing data nilai akurasi C4.5 meningkat menjadi 86,13%.

Abstract

Mean Years Schooling (MYS) of the population of Pekalongan City in the past 4 (four) years has increased, although slowly. One factor that makes the average length of schooling is the level of student attendance. When students are rarely present at school, the student will miss the learning material so that his performance decreases. Students whose achievement is below average usually will not continue their education to a higher level. This research intends to develop an application e-Presensi to monitor the presence of secondary school students in Pekalongan City. With the e-Presensi application, students attend school using finger print. The system will send messages on the parent / guardian smartphone (client side, so parents / guardians can easily monitor thepresence of their children in school. Schools are also easier to recap student attendance at the end of the semester. By using this e-Presence, It is expected to increase student attendance and reduce school skipping rates, so that in the long run it can increase Mean Years Schooling (MYS) of Pekalongan City residents. Abstract

Cost, time, and development effort can increase due to errors in analyzing functional and non-functional software requirements. To minimize these errors, previous research has tried to classify software requirements, especially non-functional requirements, on the PROMISE dataset using the Bag of Words (BoW) feature extraction and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification algorithm. On the other hand, the unbalanced distribution of class labels tends to decrease the evaluation result. Moreover, most software requirements are usually functional requirements. Therefore, there is a tendency for classifier models to classify test data as functional requirements. Previous research has performed class balancing on a dataset to handle unbalanced data. The study can achieve better classification evaluation results. Based on the previous research, this study proposes to combine the class balancing method and the SVM algorithm. K-fold cross-validation is used to optimize the training and test data to be more consistent in developing the SVM model. Tests were carried out on the value of K in k-fold, i.e., 5, 10, and 15. Results are measured by accuracy, f1-score, precision, and recall. The Public Requirements (PURE) dataset has been used in this research. Results show that SVM with class balancing can classify software requirements more accurately than SVM without class balancing. Random Over Sampling is the class balancing method with the highest evaluation score for classifying software requirements on SVM. The results showed an improvement in the average value of accuracy, f1 score, precision, and recall in SVM by 22.07%, 19.67%, 17.73%, and 19.67%, respectively.

Abstract

Physics is a subject taught in high schools as per the established curriculum. Teachers often employ traditional teaching methods where students study independently without active participation, leading to boredom and reduced enthusiasm for learning. Physics is frequently perceived as difficult and perplexing by most students, and the utilization of 3D games as a learning tool can help overcome these challenges. This research aims to integrate the Finite State Machine (FSM) algorithm into a 3D game to create a more effective and engaging learning experience for students. The study employs the waterfall method in application development, encompassing stages such as needs analysis, application design, FSM implementation in games, and game testing and evaluation. 3D physics games have been successfully developed and tested for their feasibility. This game serves as an effective means of entertainment and learning, aiding students in enhancing their understanding of physics subjects. According to the results of a questionnaire with 50 respondents, it is evident that this 3D game is quite user-friendly (90%) and possesses a very good user interface (89%). Approximately 78% of respondents stated that their experience in using the game was very good. Moreover, 82% of respondents found that this educational physics game was highly beneficial for learning physics material.

Abstract

In advanced technology and internet era, daily activities such as shopping, working, studying, and communicatingbecame more efficient and faster. This provides a great opportunity to improve the quality of life and the development of the mind. However, there are challenges faced by hydroponic farmers in expanding market reach and raising awareness about hydroponics in the community. The main problem is the lack of education about hydroponics among the public. In addition, the creation of applications is often complicated, difficult to set up, and difficult to test. However, with BLoC state management, we can separate the appearance and logic of the app, make the code easier to understand, and improve the quality of the app. The software development method used in this research is waterfall. The result was application that provides various educational features, including videos, articles, recipes, and interactive quizzes. This quiz helps users test their knowledge about the health benefits of vegetables and fruit, while the recipe feature provides information about ingredients and how they are prepared. Results from questionnaire testing showed that 91% of respondents found the app useful. With this high level of satisfaction, it can be concluded that this application is very useful for users.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Globally, in 2022, 2.3 million children will die in the first 20 days of life. Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest neonatal mortality rate at 27/1000 live births, Central and South Asia with 21/1000 live births. The highest neonatal mortality rate in Southeast Asia is in Myanmar at 22.3/1,000 KH, the second is Laos 21.7/1000 KH, while Indonesia is in 5th place at 11.7/1000 KH. One of the causes of infant death is hyperbilirubinemia, which is caused by several factors including gestation period, birth weight, blood type, breast milk intake, prematurity and congenital diseases or disorders. Objective to determine the effectiveness of breastfeeding in reducing bilirubin levels in newborn babiesQuasy experiments use a one group pretest-posttest design, which does not have a control group. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The frequency distribution of bilirubin levels before being given breast milk was mostly grade III bilirubin levels (40.0%) and after being given breast milk every 2 hours the bilirubin levels dropped to grade II (50.0%). There is an effectiveness of breastfeeding in reducing bilirubin levels in newborn babies, because there is a difference in the average value before and after being given breast milk.  Keywords: Breast Milk, Bilirubin, Newborns  ABSTRAK Secara global pada tahun 2022 terdapat 2,3 juta anak meninggal dalam 20 hari pertama kehidupannya. Afrika Sub-Sahara memiliki angka kematian neonatal tertinggi sebesar 27/1000 kelahiran hidup, Asia Tengah dan Selatan dengan 21/1000 kelahiran hidup. Angka kematian neonatal di Asia Tenggara tertinggi berada di negara Myanmar sebesar 22,3/1.000 KH, yang kedua Laos 21,7/1000 KH, sedangkan Indonesia berada di urutan ke-5 sebesar 11,7/1000 KH. Salah satu penyebab kematian bayi adalah hiperbilirubinemia, yang dikarenakan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya masa gestasi, berat badan lahir, golongan darah, asupan ASI, prematuritas dan penyakit atau gangguan bawaan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui efektivitas pemberian ASI terhadap penurunan kadar bilirubin pada bayi baru lahir. Quasy eksperimen menggunakan rancangan one grup pretest-postest design, yang tidak memiliki control grup. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total Sampling. Distribusi frekuensi kadar bilirubin sebelum diberikan ASI sebagian besar kadar bilirubin derajat III (40,0%) dan sesudah diberikan ASI dalam 2 jam sekali kadar bilirubin turun menjadi derajat II (50,0%). Ada efektivitas pemberian ASI terhadap penurunan kadar bilirubin pada bayi baru lahir, karena ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah diberikan ASI. Kata Kunci: ASI, Bilirubin, BBL

Abstract

Berdasarkan data statistik Kota Pekalongan, rata-rata lama sekolah penduduk Kota Pekalongan adalah 8,29 persen atau berarti rata-rata pendidikan penduduk hanya setingkat kelas 2 SMP. Salah satu faktor yang membuat rendahnya rata-rata lama sekolah adalah tingkat kehadiran siswa. Ketika siswa jarang hadir di sekolah, maka siswa tersebut akan ketinggalan materi pembelajaran sehingga membuat prestasinya menurun. Siswa yang prestasinya di bawah rata-rata biasanya tidak akan melanjutkan pendidikannya ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Proses pencatatan kehadiran siswa di sekolah masih kurang efektif karena siswa bisa melakukan manipulasi kehadiran dan orang tua juga belum bisa mengetahui kehadiran siswa di sekolah. Saat ini, seluruh sekolah menengah di Kota Pekalongan sudah memiliki akses Internet dan sebagian besar siswa dan orang tua juga menggunakan smartphone untuk mengakses Internet. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangkan aplikasi e-Presensi berbasis android untuk monitoring kehadiran siswa sekolah menengah di Kota Pekalongan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode SDLC (System Decelopment Life Cycle) dengan tahapan planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing & integration, maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terwujudnya aplikasi e-Presensi berbasis android untuk monitoring kehadiran siswa sekolah menengah di Kota Pekalongan. Dengan aplikasi e-Presensi tersebut, siswa melakukan presensi di sekolah menggunakan finger print (sidik jari), kemudian sistem akan mengirim pesan pada smartphone orang tua/wali, sehingga orang tua/wali dapat dengan mudah memantau kehadiran putra-putrinya di sekolah. Sekolah juga lebih mudah dalam melakukan rekap kehadiran siswa pada akhir semester. Dengan menggunakan e-Presensi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat kehadiran siswa dan menekan angka bolos sekolah, sehingga dalam jangka panjang dapat meningkatkan rata-rata lama sekolah (Mean Years Schooling/MYS) penduduk Kota Pekalongan.

Abstract

The increasing amount of household waste presents a major environmental challenge, worsened by inefficient and outdated waste management practices. Traditional systems lack real-time monitoring and responsiveness, creating a gap in timely waste management. This research introduces a creative solution through the development of an Android-based Household Waste Monitoring System, integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology to provide real-time data on waste bin capacities and immediate notifications. Unlike conventional approaches, this system creatively bridges the gap by enabling proactive waste management through instant alerts and real-time tracking, allowing users to act before issues escalate. The system development follows an Agile/Scrum framework, fostering rapid iteration and user-driven enhancements. Through the innovative application of IoT and Agile methodologies with JIRA Software, this solution effectively addresses the inefficiencies of current waste management systems, as evidenced by an 80% success rate across five testing activities. This creative approach not only improves development efficiency but also accelerates adaptability in response to evolving waste management needs.

Abstract

Libraries have the main task of processing library materials by classifying books according to certain methods. Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) is the most widely used method in the world to determine book classification in libraries. However, the classification process using DDC is inefficient because it takes a long time for the large number of books in the library. This is a serious problem experienced by all libraries, so a solution is needed to bridge the problem. automatic classification system can be the right alternative to overcome the problem. In this research, an automatic classification system based on DDC using the Multinomial Naive Bayes Method so that it can speed up the classification process. This system was created using the CodeIgniter framework with the PHP programming language and MariaDB. Test results from 100 training data and 30 test data show that there are 24 test data with correct classification results and 6 test data with incorrect classification results. So it can be concluded that the accuracy rate of the test is 80%.

Saat ini, seluruh sekolah menengah di Kota Pekalongan sudah memiliki akses Internet dan sebagian besar siswa dan orang tua juga menggunakan smartphone untuk mengakses Internet. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangkan aplikasi e-Presensi berbasis android untuk monitoring kehadiran siswa sekolah menengah di Kota Pekalongan.
