Abstract

Objectives: This paper sought to undertake a comprehensive analysis aimed at investigating the influence arising from the various financial metrics, namely the Current Ratio, Debt-to-Equity Ratio, Return On Assets, and Total Assets Turnover on Earnings Per Share (EPS), and Stock Prices as the moderating variable. Methodology: This research employs a quantitative descriptive methodology by collecting financial reports of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The measurement model and hypothesis testing are Descriptive Statistics with a Panel Data Regression Model Selection.Finding: The study found that the Current Ratio had no significant direct effect on Earnings Per Share (EPS), while the Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, and Total Assets Turnover all had varying degrees of negative influence on EPS via Stock Price. The combined impact of these metrics was statistically significant, emphasizing the importance of considering multiple factors when assessing financial performance. Conclusion: The use of predictive models to forecast stock performance based on these factors can offer significant benefits to both investors and company management. Moreover, this research can aid in the development of better financial metrics, more effective risk management, smarter investment strategies, and an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complex relationships between financial factors and stock prices. All of this will provide more robust tools for evaluating company performance and making better investment decisions in the world of investments.

Factors that are thought to be capable of influencing economic growth include the human development index, income, poverty, investment, and unemployment. So it needs to be analyzed to achieve sustainable development. This study aims to analyze the effect of human development index, income, poverty, investment, and unemployment on economic growth. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with panel data regression analysis. The data consists of six provinces on the island of Java starting from 2010-2021. The results of the study show that the development, income and unemployment indices have a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while the poverty and investment variables do not have a significant effect on economic growth. Abstract

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is a place for transactions of shares of companies that have met the requirements. The incident of the spread of Covid-19 has an impact on stock market instability which also has an impact on company value. Investors are cautious in investing in the IDX including considering the value of the company. According to a number of studies, firm value (PBV) is influenced by leverage (DER), profitability (ROE), interest rates (BI Rate), and company size (SIZE) but inconsistently (positively or negatively). There are other studies that show an inconsistent relationship between DER, ROE, BI Rate and SIZE. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze DER, ROE, and BI Rate on PBV with SIZE as an intervening variable. The research was conducted on companies listed in LQ45 for the 2019-2022 Period using purposive sampling method and based on their annual financial statements. Other data is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, and Yahoo Finance. Data processing using SmartPLS with the PLS-SEM method with a 95% confidence level reinforced by the Sobel Test. The results of the study are based on direct influence, namely: 1) Leverage (DER) has a significant positive effect on firm value (PBV), 2) Profitability (ROE) has no effect on firm value (PBV), 3) Interest Rate (BI Rate) has no effect on firm value (PBV), 4) Firm size (SIZE) has a significant negative effect on firm value (PBV), 5) Leverage (DER) has a significant positive effect on firm size (SIZE ), 6) Profitability (ROE) has no effect on firm size (SIZE), 7) Interest rate (BI Rate) has no effect on company size (SIZE). Based on the indirect effect, the results are: 1) Leverage (DER) has a significant negative effect on firm value (PBV) through firm size (SIZE), 2) Profitability (ROE) has no effect on firm value (PBV) through firm size (SIZE), and 3) Interest rates (BI Rate) have no effect on firm value (PBV) through company size (SIZE). Based on this research, companies need to be wise in managing debt in connection with the significant positive leverage (debt) on firm value. Likewise, with the effect of profitability (ROE) on firm value negatively although not significant, companies need to anticipate/be careful because in real conditions profitability should have a positive effect on firm value. This anomalous condition can occur during Covid-19 and therefore companies must be wiser in running their business effectively and efficiently in order to achieve high profitability and firm value.

Abstract

Profitability denotes a company's capacity to generate earnings within a specified timeframe. Companies that thrive and exhibit profitability are perceived as successful and typically garner favour among shareholders. This study examines profitability in the context of a company's ability to generate earnings within a specified timeframe, which is crucial for shareholder favour and business success. It focuses on the banking sector in Indonesia, encompassing 33 listed entities, with eight selected for the research sample. Employing hypothesis testing and analytical techniques, the study finds that asymmetric information and fluctuations in profitability do not affect credit pricing. Instead, credit risk positively impacts credit pricing, along with positive contributions from asymmetric information and profitability. This suggests that profitability does not hinder creditworthiness improvements. Asymmetric information does not affect credit pricing, making selling bank loans risky. Further research on credit pricing at a larger scale is warranted.

Abstract

This study empirically examines the impact of price-savings orientation on utilitarian and hedonic app browsing, as well as the influence of utilitarian app browsing, hedonic app browsing, and social influence on consumer persuasion within the Indonesian online meal delivery app context. Primary data was collected through online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, utilising purposive sampling criteria explicitly targeting users who had conducted transactions on these platforms. The analysis employed the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Smart PLS software, revealing significant findings. Price-savings orientation positively affected utilitarian and hedonic app browsing, while utilitarian app browsing and social influence significantly influenced consumer persuasion. Implications suggest that future online meal delivery platform development and marketing should prioritise pricing and social influence. Subsequent research should extend this framework to other digital-based business sectors, focusing on a more diverse range of productive-age respondents.
