Abstract

This paper discussed about statistics in general Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar  2013-2015 as a means of comparison information and materials in the Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar. This paper also aims to describe the statistics in the Public Library of Gunung Bungsu as a means of information and comparison at the Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar. The process of data collection is done with the study of documents by collecting data directly from the original source, that is by doing interviews and observations in the Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar. Abstract

This article aims to describe the design of promotional library media in Universitas Negeri Padang Library. Data collected through direct observation and interviews with Employees Universitas Negeri Padang Library, as well as literature using books and reading are considered important. Analyzing data descriptively. Based on analyzing the data, it was concluded library media campaign can be designed using CorelDraw application program. The aspects that must be considered and should be made is the physical form, illustration, text, typography, and color. The draft media campaign should be designed to attract. Use short sentences, clear, solid, and are important information. Media campaigns can be designed is a brochure, bookmarks, calendars library, libraries pins, bags library, library glasses, clothes library, library umbrellas and posters. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the stages of repackaging information and also designing and producing a printed information or booked. The benefits of this paper are useful for breastfeeding mothers and users who need it. The research method used is descriptive, data collected through literature study (articles in PDF, HMTL, DOC, TXT, PS). The stages of repackaging information about katuk leaf benefits for the production of breast milk are: (1) identifying user needs, (2) defining the topic/title of information to be covered. This determination usually will involve ideas and input from experts staff, manufacturers of packaging products, information, product consumers and information services and employees, (3) collect information from any sources that match with topic, (4) the selection and analysis of information, (5) determine the form of repackaged information either printed or non-printed, (6) examination/editing, (7) print with a more attractive shape.Keyword: ASI, information repackaging, katuk leaf.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe: user perception of the availability of the collection at the Library Unit Kopertis Region X. The data were collected through observation and quantitative researchby distributed questionnaire (questionnaire) to every visitor UPT Library Kopertis Region X. Samplesused for 52 (fifty-two) respondents. Analyzing datatotabulate the results of respondents' answersinto the list of tabulationand the questionnaire result swith normal analysis techniques. Based on data analysis can be concluded that user not satisfied with the collection available as: collection available in the Library Kopertis Region X is still the most (up to date) with parsentase 42,3%, neatness in the preparation parsentase collection by 67,3%, collections provided incomplete with parsentase 82,6%, in the search user not get the book easily with parsentase 50%, the collection is available yet with the times with parsentase 51,9%, the collection is available not in accordance with the needs pemustaka with parsentase 40, 3%, the collection of which there are many that are not suitable to be used with parsentase 34,6%; libraries must make additions to the collection parsentase 94,2%, services librarian to user with parsentase 57.6%, the cleanliness of the collection has not been clean with parsentase 67,3%. Abstract

Based on data analysis can be concluded as follows: First, the process of the development of library collections in the Library at the Archives, Library and Documentation of Padang been developing library collections in the Library of the form; in the library collection development policy, the selection of library materials and procurement of library materials. Second, the obstacles encountered in implementing the development of library collections in the Archives, Library and Documentation city of Padang, namely, the lack of information catalog author, there is no room for the development of library collections, not maximal performance librarian and a lack of facilities and infrastructure. Third, efforts to overcome the obstacles in conducting the development of library collections in the Archives, Library and Documentation city of Padang, to add information from the authors, the library already has a special room for the development of library collections, should pay attention to infrastructure and facilities needed librarians, and librarians should own a clear division of tasks. Abstract

This article discusses the archival paradigm in the disclosure of public information on PT. Semen Padang. The writing is aimed at obtaining a description of: (1) archival paradigm in public disclosure in PT. Semen Padang; (2) constraints encountered in archival paradigm in PT. Semen Padang; (3) ways in which to overcome these obstacles. By analyzing the data, it was concluded that: first, at PT. Semen Padang on archival paradigm is good because the existing information and information received can already be identified quickly by work units and employees to see archival websites, newsletters, recor center archives and other information systems used by PT. Semen Padang; second, obstacles encountered in the archives at. Semen Padang presence of several units that have not been able to understand about the archives or the management of PT. Semen Padang; Third, as for the method to overcome these obstacles is to hold weekly or monthly socialization of archives and archival procedures and conduct future Jop On Training on electronic filing. Abstract

The purposes of this article are to describe: (1) the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat; (2) the problems that might be found in arranging the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat; (3) the efforts that can be taken to overcome the problems in arranging the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The data were collected by interviewing the officer of Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat and by conducting an observation. Based on this research, it can be concluded that: (1) the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat has not been properly implemented, particularly in its management; (2) the problems that might be found in arranging the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat are low understanding of the officer, lack of supporter element, and not yet considered elements of the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in arranging policies; (3) the efforts that can be taken to overcome the problems in arranging the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in Badan Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sumatera Barat are increasing the understanding of the officer, fulfilling the supporter element, and considering the supporter element of the preparedness plan for facing earthquake in arranging policies. Keywords: planning, preparedness, earthquake

Abstract

AbstractWriting this paper aims to create a directory of locations for skateboarding in West Sumatra. The method used in this paper is descriptive research, which examines a group of people, an object, a condition, a thought, or a class of events in the present. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and literature study. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded as follows. First, the obstacles in making a skateboarding directory location in West Sumatra can be described as follows. (a) the writer has difficulty finding a clear place about the location of skateboarding. These constraints are due to the absence of a clear pointer or direction to a skateboarding location. (b) the distance from the downtown or downtown. These constraints are due to inadequate access to locations. The author must ask and explain to the surrounding community in detail in a location in order to get to the point where to skateboard. (c), the authors find it difficult to find the right sources for more detailed information on a skateboarding location. The existence of these obstacles is due to ignorance of the community and skateboarding community about the place. The author only gets some clear information when making observations. Second, the author's attempt to do so is as follows. (a) the author does his best to make clear road and road directions to a skateboarding location with the help of the surrounding community and the communities in the place. With the help of the community and community in making instructions at a predetermined point or better known by the community. (b) the author tries to minimize the distance to the location of skateboarding by asking the informant or the right informant at a skateboarding location. (c) the author tries his best to do interviews with several people to get clear and precise information about a skateboarding location. Abstract

Abstract The writing of this paper aims to describe the perceptions of visitors to the Library of SMAN 2 Harau in meeting information needs. The method used in this paper is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Then, the data was taken through distributing questionnaires to students of SMAN 2 Harau and interviews with librarians of SMAN 2 Harau. Based on the discussion it can be concluded. First, the perception of the user towards the service in the Library of SMAN 2 Harau has not been said to be good, because the Library of SMAN 2 Harau has not been able to support the fulfillment of information needed by the user, there are still many services that are very much needed and must be in the library, namely the absence of user guidance services for participants new students, lack of promotion from the library, then there is no internet service, and there are still many services that do not yet exist in this library that support other services such as photocopy services and storytelling services. Secondly, the user's perception of the existing collections in the SMAN 2 Harau Library cannot be said to be good, because the collection of periodicals has not been maximally procured, there are still many requests for information from users such as enrichment collections, and then the latest collections are not yet available. Third, the user's perception of the existing facilities at the SMAN 2 Harau Library was also said to be not good because this library had a room with facilities that were still lacking, such as inadequate bookshelves, lack of internet services, lack of custodians, and supporting facilities for the creation of conducive conditions such as air conditioners and TVs. Fourth, the perception of the librarian towards the attitude of the librarian in the SMAN 2 Harau Library is already good, because the librarian has provided hours of service in a timely manner, understands user needs, is quick in following up on librarian complaints, polite in providing services and proficient in finding books.Keywords: perception, users, information needs.
