Abstract

Angkutan umum (oplet) sampai saat ini masih mendominasi pelayanan angkutan perkotaan. Pada tahun 2007 di Kota Pontianak, peran angkutan umum (oplet) mencapai hingga 70%. Kemudian pada tahun 2009 hingga saat ini, kualitas angkutan umum (oplet) semakin memburuk. Hal ini, disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan pribadi yang tidak terkendali, bahkan cenderung menggantikan peran angkutan umum (oplet).Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan arahan pelayanan angkutan umum (oplet) di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dan Kecamatan Pontianak Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Variabel yang diteliti adalah: keamanan, kenyamanan, waktu perjalanan, keterjangkauan, dan sosial-ekonomi. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan kuesioner, kemudian diperkuat dengan wawancara berdasarkan daftar pertanyaan. Data sekunder didapat dari hasil-hasil penelitian, laporan-laporan studi, dan literatur yang relevan. Analisis data dengan menggunakan metode regresi berganda yang validasinya diukur secara statistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa varibel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan moda adalah variabel keamanan dan kenyaman, kemudian dari 5 variabel terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat pengguna angkutan umum (oplet) dan arahan pelayanan angkutan umum (oplet) berdasarkan preferensi masyarakat di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dan Kecamatan Pontianak Barat.  Kata Kunci : Angkutan Umum (oplet), Preferensi Masyarakat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan metode pembelajaran secara online (daring) dan klasikal di era pandemi COVID-19 pada mata kuliah Pelabuhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pola desain faktorial (Pola F). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes prestasi yang berisi rangkaian soal dalam bentuk ujian UTS dan UAS. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa program studi D3 Teknik Sipil sebagai kelompok kemampuan awal rendah dan program studi S1 Teknik Sipil sebagai kelompok kemampuan awal tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar mata kuliah pelabuhan dengan pembelajaran menggunakan media online pada siswa jenjang kemampuan awal tinggi adalah 71,64 sedangkan mahasiswa jenjang kemampuan awal rendah adalah 74,48. Nilai thitung= 1,145 < ttabel=2,010. Mahasiswa yang memiliki jenjang kemampuan awal tinggi memiliki nilai tes prestasi belajar mata kuliah pelabuhan yang lebih rendah, hal ini tidak terpengaruh oleh jenis media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The role of measurement and mapping science in the construction sector is very important. The development of tools used for survey measurements and mapping is now in digital form. The application of land surveying knowledge can not only be obtained at universities but can also be obtained at Vocational High Schools (SMK) which have majors in the field of construction. To improve the quality of learning, competence and skills in the field of land surveying, training can be carried out. This training is a form of Community Service (PKM) which can be carried out by lecturers from the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program. The partner in this PKM is SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo where training will be provided in measuring surveys and digital mapping. Adequate skills will be created if teaching staff and educational staff have adequate competence

Abstract

The lack of understanding among the community in preparing the Budget Plan (RAB) for construction projects often creates obstacles in project implementation in Kelurahan Ketintang, Surabaya. The Community Service Program (PKM) by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) aims to enhance the understanding of the community in RT.03 RW.04 Kelurahan Ketintang in preparing the RAB using Microsoft Excel. This program is conducted in three stages: introduction and socialization, technical guidance, and evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in participants' understanding, with the average score increasing from 42.37 in the pre-test to 63.37 in the post-test, reflecting an average increase of 20.99%. This demonstrates that the program is effective in assisting the community to understand and apply the preparation of the RAB more accurately and efficiently. The program is also expected to support better local infrastructure development and strengthen the relationship between the university and the community.

Abstract

Tracing the relationship of expertise competence to the field of work of Civil Engineering S1 alumni of  Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) with the Tracer Study method in the form of filling out questionnaires by graduates aims to obtain information about the types of stakeholders as users of graduates; information related to the suitability between disciplines and the field of work chosen by graduates; and to determine the competence of graduates against the needs of industry or the world of work based on data analysed by quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the analysis show that 82% of graduates work in the construction field and 18% in the non-construction field, which percentage interprets that the discipline of civil engineering competence at UNESA is relevant to the field of work being undertaken by graduates and the competence of graduates who have been indicated in accordance with the needs of industry and the world of work based on the percentage of alumni data who have worked greater than alumni who have not worked, namely 73% of alumni have worked in 2022 graduates, 64% have worked in 2023 graduates, and in 2024 graduates, 87% of alumni have worked.

Abstract

Dunia kontruksi membutuhkan inovasi dan alternatif untuk membuat material baru yang lebih baik. Khususnya pada beton ringan, dapat ditambahkan alternatif berupa bahan yang lebih rendah biaya dengan memanfaatkan limbah dan bahan lain yang kandungannya dapat menambah kekuatan pada beton ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan abu sekam padi dan Carbon Nanotube sebagai bahan peyusun. Abu sekam padi merupakan limbah dari hasil pembakaran sekam padi yang memiliki kandungan silika yang cukup tinggi dan Carbon Nanotube (CNTs) adalah salah satu jenis dari karbon nano material. Penggunaan dua material selain semen dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada kuat tekan, berat volume, dan penyerapan air. Metode yang digunakan eksperimen dilaboratorium sehingga dapat diketahui proses dan cara-cara yang paling optimal. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan cara membuat benda uji berbentuk kubus 5x5x5 cm pada umur 3, 7, 14, 21, dan 28 hari. Hasil penelitian ini dalam penambahan abu sekam padi dan CNTs tersebut dihasilkan kuat tekan beton ringan tertinggi pada variasi 15% sebesar 0.594 MPa dengan berat volume sebesar 0.99gr/cm3, sedangkan pada variasi 0.0% sebagai kontrol diperoleh kuat tekan 0.66 MPa dengan berat volume sebesar 0.85gr/cm3, dengan pengujian umur 14 hari.

Abstract

Background: A higher education quality assurance system through accreditation activities is necessary as an indicator for measuring the quality of higher education institutions to ensure that the needs of students and the community are met in accordance with established quality standards. This study aims to determine the achievements of graduates against the gold standard of Surabaya State University (UNESA), determine the time required for graduates to find their first job, evaluate the relevance of the field of study to the graduates’ fields of work, and identify the scale of their workplaces. Methods: Tracer Study data were collected from Civil Engineering undergraduate alumni graduating between 2019 to 2022. Data were gathered in 2023 through questionnaires administered through the UNESA tracer study website. The responses were analysed using quantitative descriptive methods and presented in the form of percentage-based graphs. Results: The distribution of Tracer Study data shows that the highest gold standard achievement was recorded in 2021, with 75% of alumni meeting the indicators. Regarding waiting time, more than 40% of graduates obtain their first job within three months across all years. The relevance between the field of study and the field of work reached over 40% for the ‘Very Relevant’ category, while the majority of alumni were employed in national-scale companies. Conclusion: According to the Tracer Study data distribution analysis, Unesa's Gold Standard achievement reached 75%. Furthermore, the short waiting period for employment indicates the high level of graduate readiness for the workforce. The strong relevance between academic fields of study and professional fields of work, along with the dominance of employment in national-scale companies, indicates that the Civil Engineering Study Programme at Unesa is relevant to the needs of the labor market.

Abstract

The ductility capacity of structural elements is influenced not only by the reinforcement steel but also by the quality of the concrete material. Recent mix designs increasingly consider the incorporation of industrial by-products such as steel slag. Therefore, steel slag waste can be utilized as an alternative material in the reinforced concrete, especially for simple beam elements. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of steel slag as a fine aggregate replacement for beams as simple structural elements. The replacement ratios of steel slag were 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7% by weight of fine aggregates. The specimens included cylindrical samples for compressive strength testing and rectangular beam with 100 cm in span, for flexural testing. Beam elements conducted with two points of loading and recorded the deflection in middle and draw the crack pattern on beam element. The results revealed that the highest compressive strength, 33.24 MPa, was achieved with a 7% steel slag substitution. A higher proportion of steel slag affected the deflection behavior and internal force capacity. Initial cracking occurred at an external load of approximately 800 kg, while reinforcement yielding was observed at around 2500 kg, leading to ultimate failure. The maximum deflection of 9.25 mm was recorded for the 7% mixture, which also demonstrated the highest moment capacity. Overall, the findings confirm that partial substitution of sand with steel slag significantly enhances the flexural performance of concrete beams, thus providing a sustainable material solution.
