Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the inhibiting factors of Mahasiswa Santri in the English Language Education Program from accomplishing their undergraduate theses. It also aimed to identify their unique challenges, enable appropriate support programs and policies, improve graduation rates, contribute to knowledge of religious identity with academic commitment, and improve academic and religious success. Most previous studies focused their subjects on college students in general and did not distinguish significantly between Mahasiswa Santri and Non-Mahasiswa Santri. In contrast, this study focused on the Mahasiswa Santri as the subject of the research. However, the sample was only 9 students of Mahasiswa Santri, the other 19 were Non-Mahasiswa Santri. It applied two instruments: structured interviews and closed-ended questionnaires which Experts had validated. The research revealed that internal factors, such as time management and motivation, as well as external factors like the unavailability of the Internet and references, played crucial roles in inhibiting thesis completion. Time management was consistently identified as the most significant factor that inhibited undergraduate thesis writing. These findings emphasized the demand for improved support and resources to assist Mahasiswa Santri in resolving these inhibiting factors and accomplishing their theses. Abstract

The study investigated whether oyster mushroom cultivation could boost Bambang village’s economy. Its purpose was to assess cultivation’s impact on economic and social welfare, aiming to show how this agricultural initiative could enhance villagers'' livelihoods, provide stable income, and address social challenges by creating a supportive community. The research focused on improving both economic stability and social cohesion. The community service program included two main phases: training in oyster mushroom cultivation and forming a Women Farmers Group. The first phase provided two sessions with an expert, focusing on cultivation techniques. The second phase established a group for women in agriculture, fostering economic empowerment and sustainable skills with the support of a forest farmer group for resources and training. The community service program successfully trained 25 villagers in oyster mushroom cultivation, generating income and increasing economic resilience. Establishing the Women’s Farming Group further empowered women, promoting self-reliance in agriculture. These initiatives improved community knowledge and livelihoods. Plans include ongoing support for cultivation and marketing, alongside continued development of the Women's Farming Group to strengthen local economic growth. The community service programs in Bambang village effectively addressed the issues of low income, educational dropouts, and moral challenges by teaching oyster mushroom cultivation. This provided reliable income, enhanced social well-being, and empowered women through a farming group. The sustainable income potential revitalized community morale and plans aim to strengthen productivity, marketing, and cooperative development for lasting economic growth.

Abstract

Abstract

Waste management is one of the environmental problems often faced by marginalized communities. This activity is a research-based activity intended to increase awareness of community participation-based waste management in Arjosari Village, Tirtoyudo. The method used is PAR or participatory action research which seeks to strengthen the role and participation of the community in every line of the change movement. The waste management program in Arjosari Village is based on the inadequacy of waste management in the village. Not only that, there are many illegal waste dumps that can pollute the environment due to public awareness about the importance of protecting natural ecosystems. We have implemented programs to overcome this in several waste management projects, namely establishing a waste sorting system, producing compost and eco-enzyme products from organic waste. These projects involve the direct participation and role of the entire community.

Abstract

Introduction: Invasive papillary carcinoma represents a rare subtype of breast cancer, constituting about 0.5% of all invasive breast cancers and mainly occurring in postmenopausal women. Because most information comes from limited case reports and small retrospective analyses, awareness of this tumor remains low, posing challenges for clinical management. There are distinct pathological characteristics and biological behaviors seen in invasive papillary carcinoma, according to the research.  One reason for its generally good prognosis is because it is seldom involved with lymph nodes and is classified as a luminal subtype. [1, 2]. Case Presentation: We report a rare case of Invasive Papillary Breast Carcinoma in a 48-year-old premenopausal woman who presented with a gradually enlarging, painless retroareolar mass in her right breast, persisting for four months. The patient previously underwent an incisional biopsy at another hospital, and the histopathology results showed invasive papillary breast carcinoma. The patient has undergone a chest  CT-scan for diagnostic confirmation and surgical guidance. The patient underwent a right-sided modified radical mastectomy, and histopathological examination of the specimen confirmed the diagnosis of Invasive Papillary Carcinoma. Immunohistochemical analysis further validated this diagnosis. Conclusion: Although the treatment of Invasive Papillary Breast Carcinoma generally aligns with that of more common breast cancers, its protocol remains unclear due to the condition's rarity. We chose to present this Invasive Papillary Breast Carcinoma case because of the disease's uncommon nature, the severity of the symptoms, and the need for urgent intervention.
