Abstract

Mobil urban adalah mobil yang mesin dan dimensinya didesain untuk jalan raya di kota besar karena jalanan di kota besar karena biasanya padat dan macet. Mobil mungil ini bisa dipakai untuk menghemat bahan bakar minyak (BBM) karena memang konsumsinya tidak sebesar mobil jenis lain [1]. Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dari mobil urban adalah segi kekuatan dari rangka/frame yang menerima beban oleh beberapa komponen diantaranya, pengemudi, mesin penggerak, body dan baterai. Simulasi beban statik casis dan simulasi aerodinamis dari bodi kendaraan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Solidworks yang dilakukan pada rangka dengan dari baja kontruksi jenis Al 6061 dan body fiber. Hasil analisis dan simulasi, displacement maksimal beban bodi pada casis sebesar 3,77 mm dan von Mises Stresses beban bodi pada casis sebesar 2,17 N/mm2. Displacement maksimal beban penumpang pada casis sebesar 4,42 mm dan von Mises Stresses beban bodi pada casis sebesar 0,32 N/mm2. Flow simulation pada kecepatan angin 11.12 m/s diperoleh gambar tekanan, dimana terdapat tekanan yang tinggi pada bagian ujung depan bodi dengan nilai tekanan maksimal yang terdapat pada color bar adalah sebesar 101.561,12 Pa

Abstract

The main problems in drying crackers are non-uniform drying and drying that still uses solar energy. During the rainy season, the process of drying crackers cannot be done quickly or takes a long time, thereby reducing the amount of cracker production in cracker MSMEs. Therefore, the solution that can be used is to use simple technology, a cracker drying oven machine, which can help the productivity of cracker small businesses in the drying process when the rainy season arrives. This research aims to determine the heat distribution in the cracker drying oven box using Computational Fluid Dynamics, determine the optimal temperature for drying crackers using a cracker drying oven machine and find out how long it takes to dry crackers using a cracker drying oven machine. From the simulation results using Ansys Fluent 19.2 software, it was found that the heat distribution was almost even in the drying box on each shelf with a heating source inlet of 75 ˚C with a temperature range of 49 ˚C - 54 ˚C on each shelf in stages. From the direct experimental results, it was found that the drying process with a heating source of 75 ˚C resulted in a decrease in the weight of crackers from the initial unit weight of 6 grams and the final unit weight of crackers of 3 grams. The drying process with a cracker drying oven machine lasts for 3 hours to achieve complete drying. Keywords: Cracker drying oven machine, heat distribution, computational fluid dynamics

Abstract

Pizza adalah hidangan gurih asal Italia sejenis adonan bundar dan pipih, yang dipanggang di oven dan biasanya dilumuri saus tomat serta keju dengan bahan makanan tambahan lainnya yang bisa dipilih sesuai selera. Keju yang dipakai biasanya mozzarella atau keju piza, bisa juga parmesan dan beberapa jenis keju lainnya. Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan konsumen mengenai produk Pizza, maka diperlukan suatu mesin yang dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah produksi Pizza ini, yang mana sebelum dibuatnya mesin ini proses pemipihan adonan Pizza memerlukan waktu yang lama dan juga membutuhkan banyak tenaga, dengan mesin ini dapat mempermudah produksi dengan metode pemipihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari adonan Pizza tersebut. Rancang bangun Mesin Pemipih Adonan Pizza ini, menggunakan arduino nano sebagai controller untuk mengatur ketebalan pemipihan dan jeda waktu yang ditentukan. Menggunakan motor stepper sebagai penggerak dan sebagai pengatur motor menggunakan Driver A4988. Dalam proses pemipihan adonan menggunakan tuas press dengan diameter 200 mm

Abstract

The quality of rivers and coastal is gradually deteriorating along with rapid population and socio-economic growth in the watershed to the estuary. Sampling was conducted in Semarang city rivers and Demak district rivers, Central Java Province, Indonesia, at four different stations according to geography and designation: river basins, estuaries, and rivers affected by industrial and domestic waste. Research time is August - October 2023 during the dry season. The research method uses descriptive analysis to determine the variables to be studied based on the research results in the field. River and coastal pollution levels are measured using the Heavy Metal Pollution Index method, with several water quality parameters measured, such as BOD, COD, Ammonia, TDS, TSS, and Total Coliform. In contrast, the heavy metal parameters measured are Cd, Ni, Zn, Cu, and Pb. The heavy metals and water quality parameters analyzed guided by Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 class 2. Water quality and heavy metal analysis use the Heavy Metals Pollution Index (HPI). HPI is an assessment method that shows the influence of individual heavy metal compounds on overall water quality. The results show that the status of non-metal water quality in terms of HPI analysis shows that Sampling Station (SS) 1 is 224.30 (unsuitable for drinking), SS 2 is 645.98 (unsuitable for drinking), SS 3 is 320.09 (unsuitable for drinking), SS 4 is 252.09 (unsuitable for drinking), and metal parameters in terms of HPI analysis show that SS1 is 26.43 (good), SS2 is 2345.84 (unsuitable for drinking), SS3 is 26.43 (good), and SS4 is 12.64 (excellent). The conclusions from these four research areas indicate that the status of water quality, according to the HPI is unsuitable for drinking, however, indications of heavy metals in 2 areas are still tolerable, namely good and excellent. The decline in water quality in the research area is caused by domestic and industrial waste polluting the waters. In conclusion, this river area requires further management from the collaboration of various stakeholders.Keywords:Water QualityHeavy MetalCoastalWatershed

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan platform swerve drive modular untuk robot mobile otonom berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32, guna memungkinkan manuver omnidireksional yang presisi dalam lingkungan dinamis. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan pendekatan kinematika invers untuk mengatur kecepatan dan arah sudut setiap roda secara independen. Validasi dilakukan melalui pengujian gerakan dasar serta analisis performa aktuator terhadap variasi kecepatan putar roda (RPM). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan kecepatan linier maksimum sebesar 0,314 m/s pada 100 RPM, dengan error sudut rata-rata berada dalam rentang ±1,2° hingga ±2,7°. Grafik hubungan antara RPM dan error sudut menunjukkan adanya degradasi presisi pada kecepatan tinggi, yang menandakan keterbatasan respons servo dan sistem kontrol berbasis ESP32. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan efektif pada kecepatan rendah-menengah dan layak digunakan dalam aplikasi robotik otonom berskala kecil. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap desain platform robot modular yang ekonomis, fleksibel, dan adaptif, serta membuka peluang pengembangan lanjutan melalui integrasi kontrol prediktif dan sensor presisi tinggi.  Kata kunci:  swerve drive, robot otonom, ESP32, kinematika robot, kontrol motor.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan bawang merah di Kelompok Tani Blimbing Jaya, Desa Morobongo, Temanggung, yang selama ini terkendala metode pengirisan manual yang lambat (3-4 jam/50 kg) dan tidak seragam. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan penggunaan mesin pengiris bawang kapasitas 50 kg/jam melalui pendekatan partisipatif selama 2 hari, meliputi teori, praktik, dan pendampingan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan peserta (nilai post-test 83,2 vs pre-test 58,4; p<0,05), dengan 88% peserta mampu mengoperasikan mesin mandiri. Produktivitas meningkat 66% dalam 5 bulan (dari 180 kg menjadi 300 kg/bulan) dengan efisiensi waktu 10 kali lipat. Kendala utama berupa keterbatasan jumlah mesin (2 unit) dan infrastruktur listrik diatasi melalui sistem peminjaman kelompok. Kegiatan ini membuktikan efektivitas teknologi tepat guna berbasis pelatihan praktis dalam meningkatkan daya saing usaha tani skala kecil.

Abstract

Public bus drivers are at risk of health issues due to mechanical vibrations and non-ergonomic working postures during long working hours. This study analyzed vibration levels and ergonomic risks of Trans Jateng Corridor 4 bus drivers using an experimental method with an MPU6050 accelerometer sensor at three points: brake/clutch pedal, steering wheel, and driver’s seat at various operational speeds. Ergonomic assessment was conducted using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method with CATIA V5R20 software during two main work phases. Results showed the highest vibration level on the brake/clutch pedal (3.23 m/s²), still below the threshold limit of 5 m/s² for 6–8 hours of work as regulated by the Ministry of Manpower Decree No. 5/2018. The lowest vibrations were recorded on the steering wheel (0.79 m/s²) and driver’s seat (0.93 m/s²). A RULA score of 3 in both phases indicated a “low risk” category but required long-term preventive measures. Recommendations include the use of anti-vibration footwear, structured breaks every 90 minutes, and driver rotation with a maximum of 6 hours per shift to maintain optimal working conditions and prevent occupational health disorders.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Automated Rubber Tyred Gantry (ARTG) as an alternative to manual RTG operations at the Semarang Container Terminal. The research focuses on productivity (boxes/hour), maintenance cost efficiency (IDR/month), and workplace safety (number of incidents). A descriptive quantitative case study was conducted from March to May 2025. Results show that ARTG improved productivity by 11.25%, reduced maintenance costs by 46.5%, and recorded zero incidents compared to four incidents with manual RTG. All differences were statistically significant (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that ARTG enhances operational efficiency and safety in port operations. Gradual implementation of ARTG is recommended, considering digital infrastructure readiness, human resource training, and policy support.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an Arduino Uno-based early warning system to monitor brake fluid quality in freight vehicles. This system uses a TDS sensor to detect water content in brake fluid in real-time, displays the results on a 2004 IIC LCD screen, and provides visual and audio warnings if the brake fluid quality is below the safe threshold. This research employs the Research and Development method, utilizing a Planning, Production, and Evaluation model, and is validated by experts in the fields of information technology, electronics, and vehicle testing. System performance is evaluated through calibration against the Habotest Brake Fluid Liquid Tester and achieves 100% accuracy on various test samples. This prototype is proven to be easy to operate, provides accurate warnings, and has high feasibility for integration into existing vehicle fleets without requiring significant modifications. This innovation is expected to encourage a culture of preventive maintenance and improve public transportation safety.
