Abstract

Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) is a documentation of a control mechanism in the form of guidelines to ensure business standards in managing the HSE performance of contractors. PT X is a company engaged in services in the oil and gas sector, which has a high risk in every day-to-day operational activity of having an accident with lost working hours (LTI) caused by contractors. This study aims to determine whether the CSMS implementation is effective enough to reduce the level of accidents at PT X. This research is a descriptive type of research or a qualitative approach evaluation study with the method of data analysis carried out by the Literature Tracing Method which produces CSMS Implementation Data & Accident Data and interviews. Experts then structured CSMS problems into hierarchical institutional elements and sub-elements using the Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) Method. The results showed that the implementation of CSMS at PT X was quite effective in reducing the number of accidents at PT X but for the implementation of this CSMS cycle must be carried out according to the CSMS guidelines at PT X and with consistency at each stage so that no negligence impacted accidents for contractors carrying out contract work at PT X. Abstract

Crane Based Well Services (CBWS) is a new technology in oil well maintenance in the oil and gas world. Tately N.V. is one of the marginal oil and gas companies, has implemented several CBWS campaigns in their oil wells. This study examines how the analysis and management of occupational safety risks arising from these activities. In CBWS activities, there are several potential hazards in the stages of its activities, including the danger of gas coming out of the well, the danger of wild sprays, the danger of lifting tools failure, the danger of working at heights, the danger of high pressure release, the danger of pinch points, the danger of irregular material swings and the danger of crane legs collapsing. Activities with these potential hazards have a high to moderate risk of causing work accidents. To reduce the risk of accidents from CBWS activities, Tately N.V. has taken mitigation measures for each potential hazard identified. The results of the study showed that the mitigation measures were quite successful with a decrease in the risk assessment to light, so that activities can be carried out with the mitigation that has been carried out. This study shows that much simpler and more economical CBWS activities can be carried out safely and with zero accidents by implementing the recommended mitigation or prevention measures to reduce existing K3 risks.

(2014) in Newnam and Muir (2019) stated if culture about work safety has gotten attention during a number of last year. Attention to work safety is influenced by several factors, namely: existing changes have an impact on understanding the environment, along with formation attitudes and values. In Indonesia itself, awareness about the importance of safety and health in the work environment already gets attention from the government. This is demonstrated by the existing regulation regarding regulated K3 in Constitution Number 1 of 1970. From the various explanations above, yes, as seen Implementation culture, safety, and health in the workplace (K3) are things that must be done by all companies in Indonesia. Therefore, this research was conducted to address research gaps previously identified by Umeokafor (2018). For the implementation of K3 in Ghana, see Lee et al. (2020), which was carried out for the implementation of K3 in South Korea, and Almazrouei (2019) for the implementation of K3 in the oil and gas industry in Saudi Arabia. Where is the third study done using the qualitative method? This research will be about the implementation K3 culture at PT. X, which is a garment company located in Semarang. This research is a quantitative study done with a method of spreading a questionnaire to PT employees. X with a minimum of one term of service know for see is K3 culture already held with both at PT. X.
