Abstract

Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses komunikasi selama terjadinya perubahan organisasi pada organisasi studi kasus yang dipilih. Metode riset kualitatif dengan memakai kerangka kerja model komunikasi   dan kerangka kerja analisis kesenjangan. Temuan/hasil Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi Teknologi, Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) belumlah cukup untuk memperbaiki proses komunikasi dan kinerja perusahaan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan kerangka komunikasi tingkat tinggi atau pendekatan teknologi komunikasi tingkat rendah yang mencakup program loka karya, pelatihan dan edukasi serta pelaksanaan boundary spanners. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada satu perusahaan studi kasus.  Penelitian lanjutan dibutuhkan untuk memahami dan mengembangkan model dari  pandangan kerangka kerja proses komunikasi. Studi tentang penerapan TIK telah banyak dilakukan di negara-negara maju, untuk itu riset ini berkontribusi kepada tinjauan pustaka dengan menguraikan isu tersebut di negara yang sedang berkembang yang memiliki perbedaan kondisi dan lingkungan dibandingkan dengan kondisi di negara maju. Katakunci : kerangka kerja komunikasi Eunson, analisis kesenjangan, perubahan organisasi, pendekatan TIK, boundary spanners. The purpose of this paper is to analyze communication process during organizational changes within the organization's case study. Qualitative research method is using the communication framework model and a gap analysis framework. The author concludes that implementing Information, Communication and Technologies (ICTs) approaches were not enough to improve the company's communication and performance processes, especially during organizational disruptions.  It needs more high-context communication framework or low-tech communication approaches including workshops, training and education programs as well as implementing boundary spanners programs. The research only conducted in a one company's case study. Further research is needed to understand and expand the model from a communication framework process perspective. Studies on the ICTs implementation in the organization have many conducted in the developed countries; therefore this research contributes to the literature by examining such an issue in a developing country that has a different environment from that of developed countries. Abstract

Communication is vital to the effective implementation of organizational changes. During the major organizational changes within the organization, a good and suitable communication process is needed and important to improve company’s operation performance.  The aim of this paper is to analyze communication problems during organizational changes and to propose the appropriate interventions in the organization’s case study. Three major internal communication barriers are found and indicated which related to the geography, culture and people problems.  Through applying not only ICT’s approaches, but also implementing training, education and workshop as well as boundary spanners programs, those communication problems could be overcame. To cite this article (7th APA style): Masyhuri, M.. Abstract

To survive in the e-retail business, current online retailers should compete with others to retain their customers. Tremendous efforts are required to meet the expectations of demanding online customers. This means that online businesses should understand what key factors determine customer satisfaction to survive in the current e-commerce business. The aim of this paper is to analyze the key factors of customer satisfaction for e-commerce companies. The methodology of this study is based on the work of (Yoon, 2007), which consists of customer service, fulfilment/reliability, ease of use, product/service offering, and security and privacy. The world's two leading e-commerce companies - Amazon and eBay - were selected as best practice examples for this case.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the most important competitive factors for small business development. The Mallet software topic modelling tool was used to select the ten most important topics. Three major external factors contributed most to this competitiveness, namely industry conditions and learning organisations (topic 5),  the market environment in terms of local and international opportunities (topic 7), and the understanding of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial networks (topic 4).

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises play an important role worldwide, in both developed and developing countries. A big part of the problem of small businesses today is competing and maintaining their business among competitors. This study aims to generate a theme of competitiveness from textual data by introducing topic modelling as a research approach. This type of research is quantitative research. This study uses a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis using the Mallet Topic Modelling program as an analytical tool. Ten themes have been identified, including two topics Understanding Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Networks; and Conditions of Industry and Learning Organizations have the highest proportion of topic composition. These topics are used to understand the competitive factors between internal and external small businesses. This study uses the Mallet Topic Modelling Tool program, and ten factors of small business competition can be identified. The results of this study can provide a new area for future research directions. At the same time, entrepreneurs and business people can obtain competitive factors suitable for their business s sustainability.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of applying competitive priorities that include cost, quality, time, and flexibility as the basis for a company’s operating strategy. Some examples of successful companies applying these types of competitive priorities will be explained. However, there is no specific recipe that companies should follow in choosing the right competitive priorities, as each individual company has a different competitive strategy and resource approach. In fact, there is no guarantee that selecting specific competitive priorities will maintain the company’s position in the marketplace, because selection requires a critical and continuous process across the company's conditions. In a dynamic business environment, companies should focus on strategic flexibility and innovation capabilities as additional tools to current competitive priorities. Finally, the role of the company’s management is crucial, as it can carefully define the objectives of the competitive priorities and the improvement of the applied innovation strategy.

Abstract

Severe hypertension in the country is many. One effort can be made with non-pharmacological therapies in which practice is Senior Elastic Band Exercise in combination with religious music therapy. The purpose of this research is to know how a combination of Senior Elastic Band (SEB) exercise and religious music therapies affect a drop in blood pressure on hypertensive patients in Bangeran Village, Dukun District, Gresik Regency. The design of this research uses pre-experimental, with a sample of 35 people taken consecutive samples. A combination of practice and religious music therapy is performed twice a week for 20 minutes each exercise. Research instruments using sphygmomanometer, observation sheet blood pressure and SOP. The data analyzed is pre intervention 1 and the post data intervention 2 uses the wilcoxon test. Studies show that action can affect drop in blood pressure before and after action with a value of p= 0,000 (p<0.05) against a systolic 13.43 mmHg and diastolic 6.54 mmHg. SEB exercises can improve flexibility, fitness, promote blood circulation and improve vascularization of lower blood pressure. Exposure to religious music causes the body to relax so that the heart pumps slower and there will be a drop in blood pressure. The POSBINDU of bangeran village need to take precautions non-pharmacological hypertension besides doing pharmacological treatment.

Abstract

New Product Development (NPD) is critical for companies to improve their business results. However, few companies can benefit from such a process because it is difficult to determine how and which NPD processes should be designed to develop a leading-edge product. The objective of this study is to find out the appropriate and best approach for implementing an NPD process in a company. The Multiple Convergent Process (MCP) framework model is applied by borrowing the framework model of (Baker & Hart, 2007). The objective of the MCP framework model is to apply a parallel mechanism of NPD phases to work towards the same point or common outcome without delaying the next phase. This study applies a descriptive research method by describing the steps of the MCP model and using literature reviews. Fifty-two publications from 1990 to 2018 were reviewed. Major and related topics such as NPD, innovation, multiple convergent points, idea generation - evaluation - concept and selection, and factors for successful NPD were considered.

Abstract

Pendidikan dan wisata merupakan dua aspek penting dalam menggali potensi suatu wilayah. Sungai ilmu Tumpak Selo memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memadukan dua aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai-nilai pendidikan dan daya tarik wisata melalui Sungai Ilmu Tumpak Selo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sungai ilmu, selain sebagai sumber air juga memiliki makna simbolis sebagai sungai pengetahuan yang kaya akan nilai pendidikan. Dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam sekitar program pendidikan yang terkait dengan lingkungan, keberlanjutan dan keanekaragaman hayati dapat dikembangkan. Selain nilai pendidikan, kawasan sekitar Tumpak Selo juga memiliki daya tarik wisata yang menarik. Keindahan alam, air yang jernih dan bersih ini memberikan pengalaman yang baik untuk para pengunjung. Pengembangan infrastruktur pariwisata yang berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan daya tarik wisata Tumpak Selo sambil menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Dengan menyelaraskan pendidikan dan wisata melalui sungai ilmu, dapat diciptakan model pengelolaan yang holistik. Peningkatan kesadaran masyrakat terhadap pentingnya pendidikan dan pelestarian alam dapat menjadi modal utama dalam mencapai tujuan ini. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan nilai- nilai pendidikan dan daya tarik wisata melalui sungai ilmu, khususnya Tumpak Selo

Abstract

The Internet economy plays an important role in the development of the country's economy. In fact, more than 60% of customers worldwide cite price as the first reason for visiting an e-commerce website. The purpose of this study is to discuss the pricing strategy of the four current leading e-commerce marketplaces in Southeast Asian countries (SEA). The methodology used for this research was descriptive analysis, adapting and modifying the work of Rekettye & Liu (2018) and Skripak et al. (2018). It was found that the top four e-commerce companies use a strategy of market penetration and flexible pricing to compete and maintain their business in the market region.
