Abstract

Di beberapa tempat di jaringan drainase Perumahan Bamaraya, Kota Palangka Raya, warna air drainasenya kehitam-hitaman dan terjadi banjir ketika hujan lebat dengan durasi lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kapasitas drainase dan kualitas air drainase di Perumahan Bamaraya dari aspek teknis dan persepsi masyarakat. Penelitan ini menggunakan data curah hujan harian maksimum, data jaringan dan dimensi saluran drainase eksisting, data sampel air drainase, dan data persepsi masyarakat. Kapasitas drainase dianalisis dengan cara membandingkannya terhadap debit rencana. Kualitas air drainase dianalisis berdasarkan parameter pH, COD, BOD, dan TSS. Persepsi masyarakat dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif, dalam hal ini berdasarkan nilai rata-rata (nilai mean) jawaban responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kapasitas drainase pada beberapa saluran mulai terlampaui pada debit rencana dengan periode ulang ? 2 tahun. Parameter pH dan COD air drainase di bawah baku mutu air limbah. Sedangkan parameter BOD dan TSS air drainase di atas baku mutu air limbah. Dalam skala 1 sampai 4, menurut persepsi masyarakat nilai mean kapasitas drainase 1,940 (kurang baik) dan nilai mean kualitas air drainase 1,450 (sangat tidak baik)

Abstract

Sarang Tawon water purifier uses filtration principle which is done repeatedly through certain filter media that are arranged in layers. The water quality as the filtration result is influenced by the filtration system and the type of filter media used and the duration of purifying process. The factor of thickness and filter media density were neglected until causing problem in the duration of water purifying process. This research aimed to find out the influence of thickness difference and filter media density of Sarang Tawon water purifier towards the parameter of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and pH. The experimental method was applied by testing the thickness of zeolite stone filter media combination, ginger coral, and coconut fiber from the Sarang Tawon water purifier with radius 4R/3, R, and 2R/3 where R=3 inches. The density variations of coconut fiber filter media were 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. The research results showed that the thickness of filter media in Sarang Tawon water purifier tool with radius 4R/3 with coconut fiber filter media density was 80% owning the ability to increase the highest pH value. There was increase of TDS parameter in each trial caused by the dissolved of ginger coral filter media, but it did not show significant number. TDS parameter resulted by the tool with radius 2R/3 with density variation of coconut fiber filter media amounted 80% showed a relatively stable value.

Abstract

PDAM Kota Pulang Pisau merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah di Kota Pulang Pisau yang menyediakan jasa pelayanan dan pendistribusian air bersih ke konsumen di wilayahnya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan layanan PDAM Pulang Pisau dan Unit Desa Mantaren I terhadap jumlah penduduk Kota Pulang Pisau pada tahun 2029. Penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu PDAM Kota Pulang Pisau mengetahui besar kebutuhan air bersih serta prediksi jumlah penduduk pada tahun 2020 sampai tahun 2029. Penelitian ini bersifat studi kasus dengan melakukan analisis data. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode aritmatik. Data-data yang digunakan adalah data jumlah penduduk serta data produksi air PDAM Kota Pulang Pisau dari tahun 2020 sampai dengan tahun 2029. Tahapan penelitian meliputi proyeksi penambahan jumlah penduduk, dan analisis kebutuhan air serta kemampuan layanan air bersih PDAM Kota Pulang Pisau tahun 2020 sampai dengan tahun 2029. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air yang diperlukan PDAM Kota Pulang Pisau pada tahun 2029 sebesar 26,630 lt/dt. Tingkat pelayanan penduduk dari tahun 2020 sampai dengan tahun 2029 mengalami peningkatan, akan tetapi jika ditinjau dari aspek kebutuhan air bersih yang harus dipenuhi oleh PDAM kota Pulang Pisau masih mencukupi setiap tahunnya, karena kapasitas IPA saat ini 60 lt/dt dan kapasitas intake 70 l/dt.

Abstract

Abstrak Kawasan sekitar Jalan G. Obos XII di Kota Palangka Raya awalnya merupakan permukiman jarang, kemudian berkembang menjadi kawasan permukiman dan perdagangan yang padat. Salah satu dampaknya, drainase Jalan G. Obos XII rentan banjir. Pada tahun 2022, pemerintah daerah melakukan normalisasi saluran drainase di Jalan G. Obos XII. Penelitian ini meliputi analisis dari aspek teknis dan aspek persepsi masyarakat. Hasil analisis secara teknis menunjukkan, normalisasi berpengaruh sebesar 100% terhadap pengurangan panjang drainase yang berpotensi banjir dan berpengaruh sebesar 381,16% terhadap peningkatan kinerja drainase. Hasil analisis secara statistik dengan Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menunjukkan, sebanyak 98% dari responden menyatakan bahwa kinerja drainase meningkat sesudah normalisasi; nilai z hitung sebesar 6,024 lebih besar daripada nilai z kritis adalah 0,00003; nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil daripada signifikansi kritis sebesar 0,05. Jadi, normalisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja drainase menurut persepsi responden. Kata kunci: normalisasi, kinerja drainase, analisis teknis, analisis persepsi masyarakat Abstract The area around G. Obos XII Street in Palangka Raya City initially was sparsely populated, then developed into a densely populated residential and commercial area. One of its consequences is the susceptibility of G. Obos XII Street drainage to floods. In 2022, the local government conducted drainage channel normalization on G. Obos XII Street. This study includes analyses from both technical and community perception aspects. The technical analysis results indicate that normalization has a 100% impact on reducing the length of flood-prone drainage and a 381.16% impact on improving drainage performance. The results of statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test show that 98% of respondents stated that drainage performance improved after normalization; the calculated z-value as 6.024 is greater than the critical z-value is 0.00003; the significance value as 0.000 is smaller than the critical significance as 0.05. Therefore, normalization significantly influences drainage performance according to respondents' perceptions. Keywords: design discharge, drainage capacity, drainage performance, public perception.

Abstract

The increase in population in peat swamp areas, especially in Central Kalimantan, has led to an increase in the demand for clean water for household needs and daily activities. The geographical conditions of peat swamps cause river water to become turbid due to sedimentation. Several efforts to purify water have been made, including the use of coagulation and filtration methods. This study aims to determine the effect of alum dose variation and water discharge on turbidity parameters, which were tested using the Sarang Tawon multifilter water treatment. The experimental method was used to test the Sarang Tawon multifilter water treatment, which combines alum as a coagulant with filtration media in the form of coral chips, ferrolite, and silica sand. The alum dose variations used were the normal alum dose (per volume of water), half and twice the normal alum dose, using four variations of water discharge. The results showed that alum, used as a coagulant in the Sarang Tawon multifilter water treatment, can significantly reduce turbidity parameters. The use of half of the alum dose with low water discharge is more optimal in reducing turbidity parameters, which is 66.376%. The significance of this research lies in the potential for using the Sarang Tawon multifilter water treatment with optimized water discharge settings to reduce the need for alum. The use of half a dose of alum at low water discharge can yield results comparable to using twice the dose of alum at high discharge. Further research recommendations may utilise pyrite water as a source of raw water, which is commonly found in peatlands.
