Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi kemampuan berpikir yang harus dimiliki siswa saat ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Setiap siswa memiliki gaya kognitif serta tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang berbeda, perbedaan ini menceriminkan sejauh mana siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal dalam bentuk pemecahan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang bergaya kognitif field independent dalam memecahkan masalah bangun datar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa pendekatan kualitatif berdesain fenomenologi. Subjek yang digunakan adalah dua siswa yang bergaya kognitif field independent berdasarkan nilai tertinggi dan terendah dari hasil test Grup Embended Figure Test (GEFT). Instrument yang digunakan berupa hasil observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa FI1 dalam memecahkan masalah matematis berada pada kategori tinggi, hal tersebut dilihat pada aspek memecahkan masalah pada tahap menyusun rencana cenderung tinggi, tahap mengerjakan cenderung tinggi, dan cenderung kurang memeriksa kembali hasil pekerjaan, sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa FI2 dalam memecahkan masalah cenderung tinggi, hal tersebut dilihat pada aspek pemecahan masalah pada tahap menyusun rencana cenderung tinggi, tahap mengerjakan cenderung tinggi, dan cenderung memeriksa kembali hasil pekerjaan.

Abstract

Resiliensi matematis memiliki peranan penting untuk kesuksesan siswa dalam belajar matematika. Jika menemukan soal yang tidak biasa dan dikatakan sulit, maka sebagian besar siswa akan menyerah dalam menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat resiliensi matematis siswa kelas X di MAN 3 Tasikmalaya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket resiliensi matematis yang terdiri dari 28 pernyataan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari 116 siswa kelas X di MAN 3 Tasikmalaya. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 11, 21% siswa memiliki tingkat resiliensi matematis dengan kategori tinggi, 69,82% siswa berada pada kategori sedang dan 18,96% siswa berada pada kategori rendah. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata siswa memiliki kemampuan untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam belajar matematika tetapi masih perlu ditingkatkan. Oleh karena itu pendidik diharapkan dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan resiliensi matematis dan membantu siswa mengatasi hambatan dalam belajar matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of mathematical resilience to students' mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical resilience is defined as the ability of students to persevere, recover, and adapt positively in facing difficulties or challenges in mathematics learning. This study employs a quantitative method using descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis techniques. The population of this study consists of Grade X students in the 2024/2025 academic year at MAN 3 Tasikmalaya. The sample comprises 30 students from class X-4, selected using a random sampling technique. The results show a significant positive correlation of mathematical resilience to mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical resilience contributes 24.8% to mathematics learning outcomes, while the remaining 75.2% is determined by other factors. These findings indicate that students with higher levels of mathematical resilience tend to achieve better learning outcomes compared to less resilient students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of intrinsic motivation on mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students in a pesantren-based school and to analyze the role of self-directed learning intensity in strengthening that influence. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The sample consisted of 30 eighth-grade students of SMP Al Halim, West Java, selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments included an intrinsic motivation questionnaire (adapted from the MSLQ) and a self-directed learning intensity questionnaire (adapted from verified international literature), both of which were validated prior to use. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the contribution of each variable to students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The results indicated that both intrinsic motivation and self-directed learning intensity had a significant positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes (p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the two independent variables explained 55.6% of the variation in students’ mathematics achievement (R² = 0.556), while the remaining 44.4% was influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings suggest that students with strong internal motivation and consistent independent study habits tend to achieve better academic performance in mathematics. The implications of this research highlight the importance of instructional strategies that not only address cognitive aspects but also foster intrinsic motivation and promote independent learning habits, particularly in pesantren-based educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model in improving students' mathematical problem solving skills. The method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, namely selecting 25 students from class VII of MTs Ath-Thohiriyah, selected based on the mathematics teacher’s consideration that the class had heterogeneous abilities and was conducive to implementing the new learning model. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics (mean,median,mode,standard deviatio, minimum and maximum values) and inferential statistics in the form of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test to see significant differences between the pretest and posttest. In addition, the N-Gain Score was also calculated to measure the magnitude of the increase and its category. The results of the study showed an increase in the mathematical problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students at MTs Ath-Thohiriyah after the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Cipasung University, Tasikmalaya, held in Sukamantri Village aims to increase the awareness and capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in ensuring business legality and halal certification. This activity includes intensive mentoring covering socialization, data collection, document completion, and registration through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system and a self-declaration halal certification scheme facilitated by the Galunggung Partnership for Sustainable Process Products (LP3H). The results show that 23 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) successfully obtained official Business Identification Numbers (NIB). In addition, two businesses have received halal certificates from the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH). This achievement demonstrates that students, supporting institutions, the village government, and the community can work together to overcome administrative barriers and digital literacy difficulties faced by MSMEs. This program increases the competitiveness of MSMEs in Sukamantri Village and increases consumer trust in local products.

Abstract

Berbagai penelitian mengemukakan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa masih rendah. Siswa hanya mencontoh apa yang dikerjakan guru, tanpa makna, sehingga dalam menyelesaikan soal, siswa menganggap cukup mengerjakan seperti apa yang dicontohkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris serta mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dengan penggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal tes uraian yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran, dengan pokok bahasan materi fungsi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 25 Garut dengan sampel satu kelas yaitu, kelas X MIA 3 sebanyak 32 siswa, diambil secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara statistik peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis kelas Creative Problem Solving bartaraf sedang, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang menggunakan model Creative Problem Solving. Different studies propose that students' mathematical creative thinking abilities are still weak. Students only imitate what the teacher is doing, without meaning, so that in solving problems, students assume enough to do as what is explained. The objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence and find out how to enhance students' mathematical creative thinking abilities by using the Creative Problem-Solving learning model. The study method is a quasi-experiment with one class as an experimental class. The instrument was in the form of a test item given before and after the learning model was performed, with the subject theme functioning. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 25 Garut with a sample of one class that is, class X MIA 3 as many as 32 students, taken by purposive sampling. The outcomes of the study revealed that statistically increasing the ability to think mathematically in a creative class of moderate problem-solving problem, it can be assumed that there was an improvement in students' mathematical creative thinking ability using the model of creative problem-solving.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan afektif yang harus dimiliki siswa adalah self-confidence. Awal tahun 2020 sistem pendidikan Indonesia menerapkan pembelajaran secara online karena Covid-19. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis self-confidence siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada saat penerapan pembelajaran secara daring. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Garut. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu, dengan pertimbangan subjek mau bekerjasama selama penelitian dan dipilih satu kelas sebanyak 32 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan angket secara online melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interpretasi Self-Confidence siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika secara umum kelas XI di SMA Negeri 11 garut berada pada kategori sedang atau cukup yang berada pada rentang 2624 ≤ S < 3423. Interpretasi Self-Confidence siswa pada aspek percaya dengan kemampuan diri yang dimiliki dengan kategori cukup, aspek menunjukkan kemandirian dalam mengambil keputusan dengan kategori baik, aspek menunjukkan rasa optimis, bersikap tenang, dan pantang menyerah dengan kategori cukup, dan aspek Menunjukkan kemampuan beradaptasi dan bersoasialisasi dengan baik dengan kategori cukup. One of the affective abilities that students must have is self-confidence. Early in 2020, the Indonesian education system implemented online learning due to Covid-19. This study aims to analyze students' self-confidence in mathematics learning during the application of online learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a population of all grade's XI students of SMA Negeri 11 Garut. The sample was chosen based on purposive sampling, with consideration of the subject willing to cooperate during the study and selected one class of 32 students as a research sample. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Data collection techniques are done by providing online questionnaires through a google form. The results showed students' self-confidence in mathematics learning grade XI at SMA Negeri 11 Garut was in the moderate or moderate category which was in the range of 2624 ≤ S < 3423. Interpretation of students' Self-Confidence on the aspect of believing in their abilities in the medium category, the aspect showing independence in making decisions in the high category, the aspect showing a sense of optimism, being calm, and unyielding in the medium category, and the aspect showing the ability to adapt and socialize with good in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the characteristics of mathematical problem solving in students with impulsive cognitive styles. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The sampling technique was carried out purposively on 26 eighth-grade students of SMP Plus An-Nuur Tasikmalaya, who were selected because they were in accordance with the research criteria and were relevant to the Pythagorean Theorem material taught at that level. The main instrument used was the Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT) to identify students with impulsive cognitive styles. They were then given mathematical problem-solving questions related to the Pythagorean material and supplemented with interviews with the selected sample. The results of this study indicate that students with impulsive cognitive styles tend to work on problems quickly without going through the stages of understanding the problem in depth and rarely evaluate the results of the solution. Their thinking process is more focused on implementing the solution steps directly without designing strategies and reviewing the final results
