Abstract

Village-based tourism plays an important role in promoting inclusive and sustainable local economic development, particularly in rural areas with strong natural and cultural potential. However, tourism development in many villages is constrained by uneven entrepreneurial capacity and limited supporting economic infrastructure. This study aims to develop and validate a tourismpreneurship measurement model based on Village Index dimensions, focusing on the economic dimension, using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The research was conducted in Kerinci Regency, Indonesia, involving 285 villages through a full sampling approach. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using IBM SPSS AMOS. The economic dimension was operationalized through two latent constructs: Village Production (four indicators) and Economic Support Facilities (eight indicators). The CFA results indicate an acceptable model fit (CMIN/DF = 2.439; GFI = 0.928; RMSEA = 0.071). Village Flagship Products (λ = 0.866) and Postal and Logistics Services (λ = 0.616) emerge as the most influential indicators. The moderate correlation between constructs (r = 0.403) confirms discriminant validity. These findings support the use of the Village Index framework to strengthen tourismpreneurship and village tourism competitiveness. This study contributes theoretically by integrating tourismpreneurship within the Village Index framework and methodologically by validating a multidimensional economic model using CFA.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has increased the use of digital wallets, including among the community in Hamparan Rawang. However, not all individuals immediately shift to cashless transactions, as many still consider factors such as ease of use and security before adopting digital wallet services. This study aims to examine the extent to which these two factors influence the community’s interest in using digital wallets. This research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 99 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, t-tests, and F-tests. The results indicate that ease of use has a positive and significant effect on user interest, suggesting that simple, easy-to-understand, and accessible applications encourage higher user engagement. Security also shows a significant influence, as features such as data protection, PIN/OTP verification, and transaction notifications help users feel safer when performing digital transactions. Furthermore, both variables jointly show a strong and significant impact on the interest in using digital wallets.Overall, this study highlights that users are more likely to use digital wallets when the services offered are not only easy to operate but also provide a sense of security in every transaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial compensation and work motivation on employee loyalty at PT Arteje Kayu Aro, a company engaged in the production of bottled drinking water in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of increasing turnover and decreasing employee loyalty, which is suspected to be influenced by dissatisfaction with the compensation system and low work motivation. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach with a population of all 45 permanent employees of PT Arteje Kayu Aro. Due to the relatively small population size, the sampling method used is census sampling. Primary data was collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained from company documents and supporting literature. Data analysis was performed using validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests, as well as multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 26 to test the partial and simultaneous effects between variables. Correlation analysis showed that financial compensation has a positive and significant relationship with employee loyalty, while work motivation also shows a positive and significant relationship. Simultaneously, both variables have a very strong relationship with employee loyalty, which means that the better the financial compensation and the higher the work motivation, the higher the loyalty shown by employees. The results of this study emphasize the importance of companies in improving their compensation systems and increasing factors that motivate employees in order to strengthen loyalty and improve organizational sustainability
