Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to obtain the quality of banana peel kepok fruit gravy (Musa paradisiaca L. var Kepok.) Based on the right fermentation time (SNI 01-2981-1992) to be designed in Student Leaflet (LKPD) Conventional Biotechnological Material in high school. The study was conducted in April-May 2017. The research was carried out by two phases, namely the manufacture of leather goods fruitghurt kepok banana (Musa paradisiaca l. Var. Kepok) and LKPD design phase. This study was performed with fully randomized intentional (CRD) 5 treatments 3 replications, to obtain the number of samples. The measured parameters were levels of lactic acid, protein content, fat content, pH and organoleptic properties which included color, taste, odor, texture and preferred level panelists. The results showed that the fermentation time fruit hatch affects the quality of each treatment. When the A4 treatment fermentation time of 48 hours fruitgurt quality corresponding to (SNI 01-2981-1992) the lactic acid concentration of 0.79%, 3.60% protein, fat content 1.49% and a pH of 3.91. For descriptive Results with a texture of 4.70 (very strong), 4.80 color (dark brown), a sense of 4.50 (slightly acidic) and the aroma of 4.83 (very typical fruit gravy). The results of the research are used as Design Worksheet Students (LKPD) Biotechnology Conventional Materials at High School.Keywords: Fermentation Time, Fruit Grain, Worksheet Students (LKPD)

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the concentration of the most well Microorganisms Local (MOL) banana weevil in the composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm. The research was conducted from February to June 2016. The results are used as development Worksheet Students (LKPD) Class X High School Biology. This research was done in 2 stages: stage composting using oil palm empty fruit bunches Local Microorganisms (MOL) banana weevil in the Laboratory of Biology of Natural PMIPA using the RAL consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The development phase Worksheet Students (LKPD) development model ADDIE ((Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm consists of preparation of tools and materials to be used, composting, observation of the composting process and stages completion. the parameters in this study is the C / N ratio of compost, the content of N, P and K compost as well as temperature, humidity and pH. The result showed that the treatment with a concentration of 4 ml MOL banana weevil is the best concentration in composting palm empty fruit bunches of oil. Abstract

Abstract: Aims of this research is determine the effectivity of the addition of cow feses in liquid waste out as a raw material for biogas to the development of biotechnology handout on the concept of class XII High School in January 2016 to March 2016. The research was carried out by two stages, experimentation and development handouts. Research experiments conducted using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replications. If there is a real test there will be a further test Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level, while the development of handout done using ADDIE models. Parameters used include volume, pH, temperature, and the test flame. The addition of cow manure in liquid waste out effectively in the production of biogas. Treatment B3 (1500 ml liquid waste out + 1200 ml of cow dung) to be most successful in generating biogas, which can produce biogas volume of 8.44 liters and has a blue flame. The results of this study can be used as a handout development by showing category invalid (3.88) on the concept of biotechnology sub class XII High School in the field of biotechnology breeding material.Key Words: Cow Dung, Tofu Liquid Waste, Biogas , Handouts , Biotechnology

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of students class X3 at SMAN 1 Kelayang with the application of reciprocal teaching model academic year 2013/2014. This research was conducted  at SMAN 1 Kelayang class X3 on May until June 2014. This research was a classroom action research and collaborated with teacher of SMAN 1 Kelayang. Subject of this research was student class X3 that consist of 38 students (17 boys and 21 girls). The parameters of this research were scientific attitude and learning result. Scientific attitude consist of curiosity, careful, responsibility, collaboration, tolerance, critical and honesty. Learning result consist of reserve capacity, student thoroughtness and students’ product assessment. Instrument of this research consists of learning materials and data collecting instruments. Procedure of this research consist of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data analysis consist of scientific attitude, students’ learning result and skills. The result showed that the mean score of scientific attitude on 1st cycle was 81,12% (enough) and increased on 2nd cycle with the mean score was 90.41% (good). For reserve capacity, the mean score on 1st cycle was 81,36% (good) and increased on 2nd cycle with the mean score was 88,02% (good). For studnts’ thoroughness individually, the mean score was 84,21% (thorough) on 1st cycle and 100% (thorough) on 2nd cycle. Based on the result, it can be conclude that the application of reciprocal teaching model could improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of students class X3 at SMAN 1 Kelayang academic year 2013/2014. Abstract

Abstract: Tempe is the food produced by simple fermentation technique by Rhizopus oligosporus. During tempeh on the market are made from only soybeans. While the last few years soybean production in Indonesia is decreasing and can not meet demand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the manufacture of tempeh use other raw materials nutritional value is not lost either with tempeh from soy such as rubber seed (Havea bransiliensis) The purpose of this study was to determine the good treatment in the manufacture of tempeh and results of this study can be used for the development of LKS High School Biotechnology Conventional materials. This study consisted of two stages: the first stage, while the second phase of making tempe LKS development of research results. Research making tempe using the experimental method completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 5 treatments and 3 ulangan.Hasil research it was concluded that in terms of content, protein content and levels of cyanide as well as organoleptic, treatment K4 is a good time in the making tempe. In the treatment K4memiliki protein content of 16.59%, cyanide levels at 0.0004% with perendama time of 24 hours and boiling for 120 minutes. The results of the research can be developed as a matter of Biotechnology Conventional LKS High School.Keywords: Keywords: tempe, rubber seed, conventional biotechnology, LKS
