Abstract

The research aims to (1) Know the feasibility of mobile learning media and (2) Know the effectiveness of the use of mobile learning media developed to improve learning outcomes for students of class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jeruklegi in 2020/2021. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) or Research and Development. The software used in the evaluation development of m-learning games is Quizizz. The subject consists of material experts, media experts, educators, student assessments, interviews, observations, documentation, and tests.The results of this study are (1) Development of M-learning Learning Geography based Quizizz is declared feasible to be used in class X IPS learning at SMA Negeri 1 Jeruklegi based on the assessment results from material experts, media experts, teachers and learners respectively – each with a mode score of 4 and 5 that fall into the category of good and excellent in the Likert Scale that has qualified from the minimum limit of m-learning eligibility with a mode score of 3 that fall into the category sufficiently in the Likert Scale as determined by the researchers. (2) Determination of the use of m-learning evaluation media of Games-based Geography learning using Quizizz application is proven to be able to increase the value of pre-test post-test by 26% in experimental class and 23% in control class.Keywords : Media Evaluation Mobile Learning, Quizizz Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Candirejo, salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Magelang yang memiliki potensi pariwisata untuk dikembangkan oleh masyarakat setempat. Pengembangan pariwisata yang dikelola oleh masyarakat melalui Koperasi Candirejo terus berkembang berkat beragam atraksi yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui distribusi dan potensi objek wisata di Desa Candirejo; (2) untuk menganalisis dampak ekonomi dari pengembangan pariwisata yang melibatkan masyarakat; dan (3) untuk mengevaluasi perubahan perilaku ekonomi masyarakat Desa Candirejo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) distribusi objek wisata menunjukkan pola yang merata, dengan dua kelas potensi yaitu kelas kurang potensial dan cukup potensial. (2) Dengan potensi pariwisata ini, masyarakat mengembangkannya dan merasakan dampak ekonomi berupa pembukaan lapangan kerja dan peningkatan pendapatan, meskipun ada dampak negatif berupa ketergantungan beberapa responden pada sektor pariwisata. (3) Perubahan perilaku ekonomi muncul di masyarakat yang tergolong sebagai penggerak pariwisata, dengan perubahan mata pencaharian dan peningkatan pendapatan di beberapa kelompok pendapatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran pada materi Potensi, Sebaran dan Pemanfaatan Perairan Tanah kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Wonogiri. 2) Mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan Mobile learning berbasis Gamification pada materi Dinamika Hidrosfer dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kehidupan untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA 3) Mengetahui efektivitas Mobile learning berbasis Gamification pada materi Dinamika Hidrosfer dan Dampaknya terhadap Kehidupan Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development dengan menggunakan model ADDIE Development. Tahapan model Pengembangan meliputi tahap Analisis (analisis), Desain (Desain), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementasi), dan Evaluasi (evaluasi). Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket atau angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data Parameter penilaian dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Kebutuhan media pembelajaran siswa diperoleh dari hasil analisis kebutuhan dengan gaya belajar siswa, pengalaman menggunakan media, dan kebutuhan media permainan dalam pembelajaran. 2) Media mobile learning berbasis gamifikasi layak digunakan dengan hasil yang baik diperoleh dari penilaian validitas ahli materi dan ahli media serta uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji lapangan. 3) Media mobile learning berbasis gamifikasi efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa dengan melihat rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest.

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) analysis role of the written curriculum and hidden curriculum natural-based learning in shaping spatial behavior; (2) improvement in student learning outcomes in human material and the environment in shaping spatial behavior; (3) the spatial behavior of students as a result; (4) factors that influence in shaping spatial behavior in the Bengawan School of Nature-School. The study used analysis a mixed method with Sequential Exploratory Design. The data analysis technique used is the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, N-Gain analysis, Frequency Distribution analysis,  and Interactive analysis.The result of this research are: (1) The Bengawan School of Nature-School does not have a written curriculum but has a hidden curriculum in the aspects of school establishment goals, contextual learning systems, humanistic learning management, learning independence of students; (2) there is an N-Gain in the increase in pretest learning outcomes with posttest through the Head Number Together intructional model in class VII of 0.387, class VIII 0.667 and class IX of 1; (3) the spatial behavior of SL-SABS students the high category  characteristics through learning with a technical instructional; (4) factors that influence shaping student spatial behavior come from internal factors, namely personal experience and gender, external factors of school institutions in the form of teacher environmental ideology and teacher professionalism, as well as non-school factors namely parent support and online media

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: (1) To know the student's needs for the development of geo.ID Learning Media based on blended learning (moodle), (2) To know the feasibility of geo.ID Learning Media based on blended learning (moodle), and (3) To know the effectiveness of geo.ID Learning Media based on blended learning (moodle) on Disaster Mitigation Materials to increase the outcomes of the students in XI grade  SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo 2021/2022.The method used in this research was Research and Development (R&D). It was developing the learning media from Moodle Software into geo.ID. The research subject consists of material experts, media experts, and students. The method of collecting data were interviews, observations, documentation, and tests.The result of Research and Development are (1) The development of geo.ID Learning Media based on blended learning (moodle) adjusted with the student's needs which dominated by text learning style, learning experience or skills in using filter media, students were enthusiasts and agree with the development of media, blue colour visualization and Time New Roman font, (2) The development of geo.ID Learning Media based on blended learning (moodle) found much worthy for geography learning in XI Class SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. It can be explained based on the results of the material expert's assessment which obtained 96% in the decent category, media experts obtained 86% in the decent category, individual trials and small group trials obtained 86% in the decent category. The data were collected using a Likert Scale. (3) The determination for used geo.ID learning media based on blended learning (moodle) was proven in increasing the learning outcomes on pretest-posttest which score was 76.3 while for the control class was 59.9. Keywords : Blended Learning Media, Moodle, geo.ID, Learning Outcome

Abstract

This study stems from the problem of students' low spatial thinking skills in geography learning, particularly on the topic of natural disaster mitigation. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of implementing the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectual (SAVI) learning model on improving spatial thinking skills. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two eleventh grade social studies classes at SMA Islam 1 Surakarta, where the experimental class implemented the SAVI model, while the control class used expository learning. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests as well as observation sheets. The results showed that SAVI learning combined with the use of maps significantly improved spatial thinking skills based on five indicators: comparison, aura, region, hierarchy, and association. Overall, this study demonstrates that the SAVI approach can develop students' spatial skills through the use of various sensory stimuli and direct learning experiences an approach previously rarely used in natural disaster mitigation materials. Based on these findings, the SAVI model is recommended as an alternative to active and contextual learning in geography education.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan perjalanan yang dilakukan ke suatu tujuan dan kemudian kembali ke tempat tinggalnya. Kabupaten Magelang memiliki berbagai obyek wisata, salah satunya yaitu Arung Jeram Sungai Elo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi masyarakat pekerja dalam pengembangan wisata arung jeram Sungai Elo dan pengembangan wisata arung jeram Sungai Elo. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif, pendekatan survey dengan populasi yaitu seluruh pekerja di obyek wisata arung jeram Sungai Elo. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik kluster pada partisipasi masyarakat pekerja dan teknik purposive pada pengembangan wisata arung jeram Sungai Elo. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan kuisioner. Teknik analisis menggunakan skoring dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yaitu partisipasi masyarakat pekerja pemandu wisata dan karyawan cukup aktif, sedangkan sopir kurang aktif. Pengembangan wisata arung jeram Sungai Elo daya tarik berupa keindahan Sungai Elo, kerja bakti masyarakat pekerja, kebiasaan masyarakat sekitar memancing ikan dan mandi di Sungai Elo. Fasilitas lengkap dan memadai. Infrastruktur jumlah dan persebarannya masih kurang, terutama di Desa Bumirejo dan Rambeanak. Transportasi mobil angkutan berjumlah 124 dan perahu karet berjumlah 250. Keramahan masyarakat pekerja sangat ramah.

Abstract

Geography education plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ environmental awareness. One of the applicable approaches is the integration of local wisdom into the learning process. Local wisdom reflects the traditional ways communities have preserved environmental balance across generations. This study aims to (1) analyse the types of local wisdom in Kerjo District, (2) examine the implementation of local wisdom in geography learning, and (3) assess the impact of local wisdom on students’ understanding of environmental issues. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kerjo, which has implemented local wisdom-based learning. The research subjects include geography teachers and students. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and analysis of teaching materials and school policy documents. The collected data were analysed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study are as follows: (1) Kerjo District has eight types of local wisdom, namely Nyadran, Bersih Desa, Tirakatan, Suran, Gotong Royong, Wetonan, Sedekah Bumi, and Rasulan; (2) The implementation of local wisdom-based education at SMA N 1 Kerjo is not yet optimal; (3) Students’ understanding of environmental topics in geography learning at SMA N 1 Kerjo needs improvement. This study highlights the importance of integrating local wisdom into geography education to strengthen students’ comprehension of environmental issues. It serves as a reference for educators and policymakers in developing more contextual and applicable culturally-based curricula in environmental education.

Abstract

Distance learning that occurred during the Covid-19 period caused problems. Learning geography, which should provide a good quality of spatial thinking, finally gets a problem. Multimedia learning is a representation tool needed in online learning. These conditions improve students' spatial thinking skills by applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The development of the learning multimedia uses a 4-D (Four-D) product development model consisting of the phases: define, design, development, and dissemination. Assessment parameter evaluation improves students' spatial thinking skills, considering comparing values between the experimental and control classes using the Independent Sample T-test = 0.05. The results of this study are that GIS-based learning multimedia is feasible to use with the validity test and trial being a score of 4 or is effectively used to improve students' spatial thinking skills with the result = 5,850 > T-table (2,035).

Abstract

Student preparedness in facing landslide disasters is an important aspect in disaster risk reduction in educational units. However, disaster learning in secondary schools is still dominated by conventional teaching materials that lack visualization and have not been optimally integrated with the Disaster Safe Education Unit Program (SPAB). This study aims to develop SPAB-based textbooks equipped with Augmented Reality (AR) technology to improve students' understanding and preparedness for landslide disasters. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of 32 students of Class XII. F7 SMA Negeri 1 Kerjo. The research instrument used validation by material experts and media experts. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Disaster Safe Education Unit (SPAB)-based learning book enriched with Augmented Reality (AR) technology is declared feasible and effective for use in landslide disaster mitigation learning. The validation results showed a score of 79.2 from material experts and 80 from media experts, both of which are in the feasible category. Effectiveness testing on 32 students showed improved learning outcomes, with an average score increasing from 56.2 in the pretest to 83 in the posttest, and an N-Gain value of 56%, which is considered quite effective. These findings confirm that integrating SPAB-based textbooks with AR visualizations can significantly improve students' understanding and preparedness, while also serving as an alternative, innovative learning medium relevant to disaster education in schools.
