Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi yaitu masih menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah dimana guru menjelaskan materi di depan kelas lalu memberi contoh soal kepada siswa. Selain itu, dapat dilihat bahwa suasana pembelajaran di kelas masih kurang kondunsif. Siswa masih kurang aktif dan kurang berpartisipasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Sedangkan untuk prestasi belajar dapat dilihat dari hasil ulangan harian yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa masih banyak yang belum mendapatkan nilai dibatas yang ditentukan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) , dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan,  pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus dengan setiap siklus ada dua kali pertemuan, sehingga dalam penelitian ini ada empat kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 25 siswa, dan objek penelitian yaitu disposisi matematis dan prestasi belajar matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pada siklus I dari aspek disposisi matematis yang mencapai 48,72% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 61,815% pada siklus II. Rata-rata kelas pada siklus I yang semula 69,04% menjadi 87,68% pada siklus II. Serta ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 68% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 84% pada siklus II. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penelitian selama siklus I dan siklus II menunjukkan adanya peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa dan prestasi belajar matematika dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe AIR.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan membaca pemahaman terhadap kemampuan pemecahan soal cerita Matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex-post facto. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun yang berjumlah 66 peserta didik. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu keterampilan membaca pemahaman (Variabel X) dan kemampuan pemecahan soal cerita Matematika (Variabel Y). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dan juga menggunakan wawancara. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan korelasi pearson dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian yang diolah menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji korelasi pearson menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca pemahaman berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan soal cerita Matematika, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig kurang dari 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000 dengan persamaan regresi linier sederhana Y = 1,500 + 0,612X. Untuk Pearson Correlation diperoleh sebesar 0,746 sehingga jika dilihat dari pedoman derajat hubungan yang sudah tertera, pearson correlationnya adalah berkorelasi kuat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan membaca pemahaman berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan soal cerita Matematika dengan derajat hubungan korelasi kuat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan dan kualitas media busy book pada materi tema 1 diriku subtema 2 tubuhku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall dengan langkah-langkah 7 tahap, yaitu 1) Research and Information collecting, 2) Planning, 3) Develop Premilinary Form Product, 4) Preliminary Field Testing, 5) Main Product Revision, 6) Main Field Testing, 7) Operational Product Revision. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah 6 peserta didik kelas I Sekolah Dasar dari sekolah yang berbeda-beda dan guru SD N Kejambon 2. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media busy book layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan hasil penilaian dari validasi ahli media mendapatkan skor 4,3 kategori sangat baik, validasi ahli materi mendapatkan skor 4 kategori baik, validasi ahli pembelajaran mendapatkan skor 4 kategori baik. Hasil respon peserta didik pada uji coba produk kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 95% kategori sangat baik dan hasil respon guru mendapat skor 4,7 kategori sangat baik. Peserta didik dan guru memberikan respon bahwa media busy book menarik perhatian sehingga belajar menggunakan media busy book menyenangkan serta media busy book membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi karena media tersebut sesuai dengan perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Abstract The lack of optimal service skills, especially educational services in the Tempel Muhammadiyah Branch, made the community service team and partners agree to organize service excellence training for teachers and education personnel in Muhammadiyah schools. The partner in this activity is the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership of Tempel District. This activity aims to (1) provide insight into the components of service excellence that must be known, understood and mastered by teachers and educators - (2) practically realize the ability to provide excellent service. The methods used in this community service are coordination with community service partners and the Foundation that oversees them, training activities and workshops, training on communication skills in education, learning strategies to improve services, service techniques, training implementation and mentoring, and evaluation of activities. The result of this community service activity is the realization of excellent service patterns by teachers and education personnel. Another result is that there is an increase in excellent service in schools Abstrak Kurangnya optimalnya keterampilan pelayanan khususnya pelayanan pendidikan di lingkungan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Tempel membuat tim pengabdian masyarakat dan mitra sepakat untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan service excellence kepada guru dan tenaga pendidikan di sekolah muhammadiyah. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Tempel. Kegiatan ini bertujuan (1) memberi wawasan mengenai komponen service excellent yang harus diketahui, dipahami dan dikuasai oleh pada guru dan tenaga pendidik- (2) secara praktis mewujudkan kemampuan dalam memberikan pelayanan yang prima. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu koordinasi dengan mitra pengabdian masyarakat dan Yayasan yang menaungi, aktivitas pelatihan dan workshop, pelatihan tentang keterampilan komunikasi di dunia pendidikan, strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan layanan, Teknik pelayanan, implementasi pelatihan serta pendampingan, dan evaluasi kegiatan.Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah terwujudnya pola pelayanan prima oleh para guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Hasil lainnya adalah terdapat peningkatan pelayanan prima di sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran flipbook berbasis kontekstual dalam mengajar materi bangun datar kelas IV. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Tahapan pengembangan yang dijalankan meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, perancangan produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, serta uji coba dengan kelompok kecil. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian dari para ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran, juga lembar respon yang diisi oleh peserta didik. Hasil penilaian dari para ahli materi menunjukkan skor sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat layak. Penilaian dari ahli media memperoleh skor 80% dengan kategori layak. Penilaian terhadap aspek pembelajaran mendapatkan skor sebesar 81,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Sementara penilaian dari guru mencapai skor 94% dengan kategori sangat layak. Pada uji coba terbatas dengan melibatkan 19 peserta didik, media pembelajaran ini mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 93,16% dengan kategori sangat layak. Ini menegaskan bahwa media pembelajaran flipbook berbasis kontekstual ini adalah layak digunakan dalam mendukung pemahaman materi bangun datar pada tingkat kelas IV.

Abstract

The rapid increase in population in Indonesia has increased the demand for animal protein. As a source of animal protein, fish has excellent potential to be developed in Indonesia. However, care for water quality, a basic need, is often ignored. Meanwhile, increasing fish production can be done by ensuring that water quality is always in good condition. This research conducted aims to monitor water quality continuously. Integrating water quality monitoring systems using the Internet of Things (IoT) offers convenience in real-time monitoring and does not have to be present on-site. The parameters determining fish water quality are pH, electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity, and water temperature. The data obtained is then displayed on the Water Monitoring dashboard as graphs, indicators, and raw data the user can download. Overall, the system can measure, monitor in real-time, and store data on the results of measuring the quality of freshwater fish ponds on smartphones/laptops. The developed system also provides information on whether the water quality is “normal” or in conditions less and more than the threshold. Therefore, the developed system helps farmers monitor the quality of their fish ponds to increase the productivity of fish farming.

Abstract

Building awareness among students on the issues of natural environmental phenomena has always been a challenge due to the difference in location between the student and the observed phenomena. The issues of the natural environment have been a part of the curriculum in elementary schools. One of the lessons taught on the natural environment in elementary schools is related to the water conditions in various areas filled with water, such as ponds, rivers, lakes, etc. Currently, learning in the natural environment is based on text, images, and videos, and learning activities using real-time data are still rare. This study presents the development of an IoT-based Smart Water Quality application prototype. The prototype consists of conductivity, pH, oxygen levels, salinity, and turbidity sensors. The IoT prototype can also be used to automatically monitor fish, shrimp, and other species in aquaculture ponds. Using the IoT-based Smart Water Quality application prototype, teachers can enhance students' higher-order thinking skills by designing learning activities using real-time data to identify, compare, and classify various concepts or phenomena.

Abstract

Creativity is an important aspect for students that need to be developed in learning. Creativity can help students in developing the ability to think critically, innovatively and problem solving which is essential in facing challenges in the era of globalization. However, recent research has shown a decrease in the level of student creativity at various levels of education. PjBL or Project Based Learning model is a learning model that emphasizes projects or collaborative assignments that are relevant to students' real lives. Meanwhile, the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach is an approach in which learning is adjusted to the level of understanding of students. This study aims to explore the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach in increasing the creativity of fourth grade students. In this study, students will be involved in real projects that will enable them to use critical thinking, collaboration and innovation skills in solving problems. In addition, the TaRL approach will ensure that students gain a solid foundational understanding before moving on to more complex concepts which will provide them with an important foundation from which to develop their creativity. The research method used was classroom action research involving fourth grade students at SD Negeri Gebangan as the main participants. Data will be collected through class observation and creativity tests. The results of this study are expected to provide concrete evidence about the effectiveness of using the PjBL model with the TaRL approach in increasing the creativity of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Gebangan.Keywords: Creativity, PjBL, TaRL

Abstract

Students often find mathematics a challenging subject and turn it into a scourge for them. Game-based learning, such as “24-card game”, help engage students in a self-paced and fun learning process and thus may overcome students’ math anxiety and promote mental math skills. This research aims to examine how the 24-card game works using the Monte Carlo method and the possibility to overcome students' mathematics anxiety. The meta-analysis method was used to explain Monte Carlo’s simulation to solve the solution for all possible combinations of cards in the game and respectively assign difficulty levels. The student's proficiency level was evaluated based on the divergence value in the number of guesses required to solve the dealt combination at 87% to show full proficiency. The evaluation could also show the math difficulty of advanced operations, such as fractions and grouping games. This game is more efficient in developing students' mental math skills compared to a conventional and rigidly structured classroom lecture.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of renewable energy learning media based on local wisdom in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. A quantitative research approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study involved 27 fifth-grade students from Karangjengkol 03 Elementary School, Cilacap, Indonesia. Data collection instruments included test questions, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, with hypothesis testing performed through an independent sample t-test. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills across four assessed aspects following the implementation of the learning media. The t-test results confirm this improvement, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than the 0.05 threshold. This statistical outcome leads to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ), demonstrating that the renewable energy learning media had a measurable effect on students' critical thinking development. Furthermore, the mean post-test score in the experimental class was 84.03, significantly higher than the 48.75 achieved by the control class. This considerable difference in mean scores underscores the effectiveness of the intervention. The higher performance in the experimental group suggests that integrating local wisdom into renewable energy education provides contextualized learning experiences that better engage students and stimulate critical thinking processes compared to conventional teaching methods. These findings provide strong empirical support for the implementation of innovative, culturally relevant instructional strategies in elementary education.
