Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis Android untuk siswa Kelas XI SMA/MA, serta mengetahui kualitas produk media pembelajaran mobile learning yang telah dihasilkan sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahapannya ada 5 tahap yaitu: 1) Analysis (Analisis), 2) Design (Perancangan), 3) Development (Pengembangan), 4) Implementation (Implementasi), dan 5) Evaluation (Evaluasi), namun hanya dilaksanakan hingga tahap keempat, yaitu Implementasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Media yang dikembangkan diujicobakan kepada 75 siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 6 Jakarta dan 55 siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 3 Bekasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran mobile learning sistem koordinasi berbasis Android yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media sebesar 89,71% dengan kategori Sangat Baik dan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 95,83% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Uji coba pada siswa di sekolah SMAN 6 Jakarta didapatkan hasil kualitas media pembelajaran dengan persentase 85,13% dengan kategori Baik. Uji coba yang kedua dilakukan pada siswa di sekolah SMAN 3 Bekasi didapatkan hasil kualitas media pembelajaran dengan persentase 86,91% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan data menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis Android materi sistem koordinasi pada manusia layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa kelas XI SMA.

Abstract

Background: Penelitian keragaman kupu-kupu dilaksanakan di Penangkaran kupu-kupu di Wana Wisata Curug Cilember. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang keragaman jenis kupu-kupu. Mengetahui sekolah mana saja yang sudah memanfaatkan Kawasan Penangkaran kupu-kupu di Wana Wisata Curug Cilember sebagai sumber dan sarana belajar di luar kelas. Metode: penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahap penelitian yaitu kegiatan pertama observasi habitat dan pengamatan jenis kupu-kupu, sedangkan kegiatan kedua observasi dan wawancara ke sekolah. Hasil: Hasil pengamatan pada penelitian tahap satu menunjukkan total kupu-kupu yang tercatat di area Penangkaran Wana Wisata Curug Cilember sebanyak 14 jenis yang terdiri dari 2 famili Papilionidae dan Nymphalidae, Stasiun parit/kolam memiliki indeks keanekaragaman jenis lebih tinggi (H’=2,33) dibanding stasiun rumput/semak (H’=1,64). Hasil penelitian tahap dua observasi wawancara menunjukkan 3 dari 8 sekolah responden yang lokasinya dekat dengan Penangkaran kupu-kupu 37,5 % sekolah yang sudah menggunakan Penangkaran kupu-kupu sebagai sumber belajar dan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelas. Kesimpulan: hasil penelitian mendapatkan dua famili kupu-kupu, Stasiun parit secara umum memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu lebih tinggi (H‘= 2,33) dibanding stasiun semak/rumput (H‘= 1,64).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan ragam kesulitan belajar dan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa dari aspek kognitif dan setiap sub pokok bahasan materi Sel Kelas XI SMA.  Sebanyak 72 siswa kelas XI IPA terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen penelitian kami sajikan dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 22 butir soal untuk analisis data tentang kesulitan belajar pada aspek kognitif dan angket tertutup sebanyak 20 butir soal untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa.Analisisdata kuatitativedigunakanrumuspersentase. Analisis data tes hasil belajar diperoleh persentase kesulitan belajar yaitu pada aspek kognitif C4 dan aspek kognitif C2 dengan masing-masing persentase 63,89% dan 68,75% dengan kriteria kesulitan belajar tinggi. Untuk aspek kognitif C1 dan C3 diperoleh masing-masing persentase kesulitan belajar 57.64% dan 53,89% dengan kriteria kesulitan belajar sedang. Pada sub pokok bahasan Sintesis Protein memiliki persentase kesulitan tertinggi yaitu sebesar 70,37% dengan kriteria tingkat kesulitan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aspek kognitif C2 memiliki persentase tertinggi dari pada aspek kognitif lainnya. Sub pokok bahasan Sintesis Protein memiliki persentase kesulitan tertinggi. Faktor kesulitan belajar siswa yang dominan berasal dari guru bidang studi, media dan sumber belajar siswa, dari diri siswa itu sendiri dan fasilitas sekolah.

Abstract

Indonesia has many endemic butterfly species and there are about 2,000 species found in Indonesia from 17,500 species of butterflies in the world. This research was conducted for five months from January to May 2017 at Cibodas Botanical Garden of Cianjur Regency, West Java. Technique of taking data is done by butterfly captured directly by insect net in each observation point. The observation of butterflies in the three locations of Sakura Park, Guest House and Fountain at Cibodas Botanical Garden found 98 individuals from 21 species consisting of 4 families, among others Papilionidae (4 species), Nymphalidae (12 species), Pieridae ( 4 species), and Lycaenidae (1 species). At the location of Sakura Park has the highest index value, among others, the species diversity index (H '= 1.92) is moderate, the species richness index (R = 3.51), and the dominance index (C = 0.27), while the species evenness index highest at the Fountain location (E = 0.87). Students are rarely invited to visit KRC to learn directly.

Abstract

The partner's problem is the lack of creativity to start an entrepreneurship. Partners include residents who are dominated by the lower middle economy. The survey results show that the residents work as teachers, office workers, factory workers selling snacks but this is only about five percent of the total local population. Other professions such as washing and scrubbing, traveling vegetable sellers, and construction workers are fewer than those who are unemployed. Furthermore, there are families who have the skills to make snacks such as chips, pecal and fried foods, but there are only about three to five families.  This means that the local community, especially housewives, is dominated by unemployed mothers who are supported by their husbands' income, which is dominated by irregular income. This problem has an impact on the disruption of children's schooling, domestic quarrels and even divorce. The solution that will be offered is to increase family income by entrepreneurship through making liquid laundry soap. Making this liquid laundry soap is not too difficult and the raw materials are also easy to obtain. The service method uses training and demonstration. The results of community service activities in making liquid laundry soap are very necessary, this is because it can be used as an alternative side entrepreneurship that is very profitable for the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning with the help of crossword puzzles on student learning outcomes. This model is applied to IPAS lessons, especially social studies to increase interest and understanding in the material of buying and selling activities as a fulfillment of needs through keywords. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were all fourth grade students of SDN Batu Ampar 02 in the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 126 students. The research sample consisted of 62 students, consisting of two groups where class IV A as the experimental group and class IV D as the control group, each class numbered 31 students. Data on learning outcomes were obtained through pre-test and post-test, tests in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis using t-test for independent samples. Based on the research results, hypothesis testing shows a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected, therefore it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model assisted by crossword puzzles has an influence on the learning outcomes of IPAS on grade IV students at SDN Batu Ampar 02.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of prospective biology teachers to compose test items that measure students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), particularly in the subject of biology. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The data source consists of fifth-semester students from the Biology Education Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA during the academic year 2021/2022, who are currently taking the course on Biology Learning Evaluation. Data collection is conducted through documentation techniques and interviews. The data is analyzed by comparing it with the criteria for writing HOTS test items and their alignment with learning outcome indicators. Data validity is tested using triangulation of techniques and sources. The research results indicate that students are capable of composing HOTS items according to the principles, including: measuring high-order thinking abilities, minimizing the recall and understanding aspects by 50.29%; being based on contextual problem-solving by 60.82%; and utilizing engaging stimuli by 48.31%, all of which fall under the 'sufficient' category. Therefore, the average ability of students in composing HOTS test items for the biology subject is 53.14%, categorized as 'sufficient'. The findings of this research are recommended for enhancing students' ability to create HOTS test items and serve as a reference for researchers aiming to improve the quality of teaching, particularly in the Biology Learning Evaluation course."Keywords: HOTS questions, Biology Teacher, Ability, Evaluation, Biology Lessons

Abstract

Inclusive learning is a crucial element in any learning process, including biology. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of gender interactions and biology learning strategies based on blended learning. The subjects were teachers implementing blended biology instruction. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, exploring all key information triangulated through source and time triangulation. The results indicate a positive impact on biology and science learning processes that respond to blended gender-based interaction. This learning impact will make science and biology learning more inclusive and responsive.   Pembelajaran yang inklusif menjadi elemen penting dalam proses pembelajaran tak terkecuali biologi. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengeksplorasi dampak interaksi gender dan strategi belajar biologi berbasis blended learning. Subjek penelitian ini diambil dari guru yang menerapkan pembelajaran biologi secara blended. Data diambil melalui wawancara mendalam dengan mengeksplorasi seluruh informasi – informasi utama yang ditriangulasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dampak positif yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran biologi dan science yang merespons pembelajaran interaksi berbasis gender secara blended. Dampak pembelajaran ini akan menjadikan belajar science dan biologi menjadi lebih inklusif dan responsif.
