Abstract

This research aims to develop a thyroid cancer recurrence prediction model using the XGBoost method with a clinicopathological feature-based approach. Thyroid cancer is one of the cancers that have a significant recurrence rate after initial treatment. Therefore, thyroid cancer recurrence prediction is important in determining treatment plans and patient management. In this study, we used a dataset containing 383 records of clinicopathological information on thyroid cancer patients who had undergone treatment. The features include various clinical and pathological parameters that are considered important in recurrence prediction. We used the XGBoost algorithm, which has proven effective in various classification tasks, to build a prediction model. The model evaluation results show good consistency in predicting the thyroid cancer recurrence with an average accuracy value of around 97.74% and an average F1-score value of around 95.94%. The results show that the XGBoost model can provide thyroid cancer recurrence prediction with good accuracy, with the ability to effectively detect both classes (recurrence and non-recurrence). The model is expected to be a valuable tool in supporting clinical decision-making related to the management of thyroid cancer patients.

Abstract

It is very important to know how to choose the best streaming app. However, it is difficult for users to decide which application to choose because of the large selection of streaming applications, so many things must be considered, such as ease of access, subscription fees, features and film services provided. This study aims to develop a decision support system model to select the best streaming application that can be adjusted to the following criteria; Subscription fees, convenience, movie releases and features. From the results of the evaluation carried out on the four criteria with the criteria and alternatives in selecting the best Streaming Application, the highest total priority with a total priority of Netflix ranks first with the final calculation result being 0.445 or 44.5%. then Iflix ranks second with the final calculation result of 0.213 or 21.3%. The Youtube application with the final calculation result is 0.175 or 17.5%. and finally in fourth place is VIU with the final calculation result of 0.167 or 16.7%. Based on the calculation results, the relative preference value of each criterion with the highest score being the best application for streaming is obtained by Netflix with a vector value = 0.445.Keywords: Streaming; Rating; Analytical Hierarchy Process; Application AbstrakSangat penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana memilih aplikasi streaming terbaik, namun pengguna sulit menentukan aplikasi mana yang akan dipilih dikarenakan banyaknya pilihan aplikasi streaming sehingga banyak hal yang harus dipertimbangkan seperti kemudahan dalam mengkases, biaya berlanganan, fitur dan layanan film yang disediakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model sistem pendukung pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih aplikasi streaming terbaik yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kriteria antara lain; Biaya berlangganan, kemudahan, rilis film dan fitur. Dari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan terhadap keempat kriteria tersebut dengan kriteria dan alternatif dalam pemilihan Aplikasi Streaming terbaik mendapat total prioritas paling tinggi dengan total prioritas sebesar adalah Netflix peringkat kesatu dengan hasil perhitungan akhir yaitu 0.445 atau 44.5%. kemudian Iflix peringkat kedua dengan hasil perhitungan akhir yaitu 0.213 atau 21.3%. Aplikasi Youtube dengan hasil perhitungan akhir yaitu 0.175 atau 17.5%. dan yang terakhir pada urutan keempat adalah VIU dengan hasil perhitungan akhir yaitu 0.167 atau 16.7%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, maka nilai preferensi relatif dari setiap kriteria dengan nilai tertinggi aplikasi terbaik untuk streaming diperoleh oleh Netflix dengan nilai vektor = 0,445.Kata kunci: Streaming; Peringkat; Analytical Hierarchy Process; Aplikasi

Abstract

The study aims to enhance the motivation of Generation Z to learn English through the English Club. The English Club is chosen as a means to create an environment that supports and motivates students to study English actively and continuously. The study was conducted using participatory and qualitative methods, involving students from the University of BSI Campus City of Tasikmalaya who are members of the English Club. The results of the study showed increased motivation for learning English in students who are actively engaged in the English club. Implications of this research can be used as a basis for the development of extra-curricular activities at the Bina Sarana Informatika University to improve the motivation to learn English in Generation Z.

Abstract

Strategi bisnis yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha bordir di Kawalu Tasikmalaya dalam emasarkan produknya dalam memajukan industri pariwisata di Kawalu Tasikmalaya adalah Cost Leadership, Cost Leadership, Focus Strategy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah penulis bermaksud untuk mengetahui lebih jauh tentang pemasaran dan strstegies usaha bordir Kawalu Tasikmalaya dalam memajukan industri pariwisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan pemilik bordir di UMKM Kota Tasikmalaya. Dokumentasi yang diberikan untuk melengkapi data penelitian yang diperoleh dari informan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi bisnis yang dilakukan oleh pemilik bordir dan pemilik UMKM sangat berkembang sehingga produk bordir dari Kawalu Tasikmalaya dapat dikirim ke luar negeri, dan pemanfaatan sosial. alat medial dan perdagangan untuk pemasaran produk bordir sangat efektif.

Abstract

Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) adalah salah satu program tahunan yang dilakukan oleh semua sekolah dalam rangka menerima siswa barunya. media komunikasi online seperti whatsapp selalu menjadi pilihan utama saat ini oleh sekolah dan masyarakat dalam berinteraksi terutama perihal dalam PPDB, namun sering menjadi kendala yaitu terlambatnya balasan pesan dari Admin PPDB kepada Masyarakat yang mencari info PPDB melalui obrolan di Whatsapp. Maka untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut perlu dibuatkannya sistem balasan otomatis melalui whatsapp dengan menerapkan teknologi machine learning agar pesan balasan yang dikirim akurat sesuai yang inginkan oleh pengirim pesan. Pada penelitian ini, akan dibangun sebuah Sistem Chatbot pada Whatsapp menggunakan node js dan menerapkan model Natural Language Processing. Hasil pengujian sistem tersebut, menunjukan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik dalam merespon pesan yang dikirim melalui Whatsapp baik itu dari teks pesan sesuai pola maupun teks yang tidak sesuai pola dengan tingkat akurasinya bernilai 92%.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan Bank Sampah Berseka di Desa Cikunir, Tasikmalaya, menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mengoptimalkan produksi Silica Powder dari limbah kaca. Dengan sistem manajemen yang masih manual, keterbatasan peralatan produksi dan strategi pemasaran yang belum memanfaatkan digital, produktivitas saat ini hanya mencapai 2,2-2,4 ton per bulan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi komprehensif guna meningkatkan efektivitas operasional dan daya saing mitra. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah Meningkatkan produktivitas produksi Silica Powder secara signifikan melalui penambahan peralatan yang memadai, yaitu mesin pencacah, memodernisasi manajemen operasional dan keuangan dengan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Bank Sampah berbasis web serta memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan melalui pelatihan digital marketing yang efektif. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan hibah peralatan produksi, pengembangan dan implementasi sistem informasi, serta pelatihan intensif. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan dalam bidang produksi, keuangan, dan pemasaran digital. Secara kuantitatif, solusi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan volume produksi Silica Powder dan pendapatan mitra secara signifikan, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Kata kunci: bank sampah; serbuk silika; limbah kaca; manajemen operasional; pemasaran digital. Abstract The management of the Berseka Waste Bank in Cikunir Village, Tasikmalaya, faced significant challenges in optimizing the production of silica powder from glass waste. With a manual management system, limited production equipment, and a marketing strategy that had not yet utilized digital tools, productivity at the time only reached 2.2-2.4 tons per month. This community service project provided comprehensive solutions to improve the partner's operational effectiveness and competitiveness. The project successfully increased the productivity of silica powder production with the addition of adequate equipment, modernized operational and financial management through the implementation of a web-based information system, and expanded market reach through effective digital marketing training. The implementation involved grants for production equipment, the development and application of the information system, as well as intensive training. As a result, there was an increase in knowledge and management skills in the fields of production, finance, and digital marketing. Quantitatively, the project significantly increased the volume of silica powder production and the partner's revenue, which contributes to the improvement of members' welfare and promotes local economic growth. Keywords: waste bank; silica powder; glass waste; operational management; digital marketing.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce has opened up opportunities for UMKM to expand their market and improve the welfare of rural communities. However, many UMKM do not yet understand their potential. This activity aims to help UMKM in Serang Village improve the marketing of their products through e-commerce and digital marketing training. The implementation method includes training materials and hands-on practice in creating e-commerce accounts, posting products, and copywriting. The output targets are increased participant knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing, as well as the realization of Smart Village through the synergy of e-commerce and digital marketing to improve the welfare of rural communities. Abstract

Many culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) still rely on manual sales data management, which often causes reporting delays, recording errors, and limited managerial access to information. This condition is also found at CV. Resto Platina Lestari, where sales transactions and report preparation are not yet supported by an integrated computerized system. This study aims to design and implement a web-based sales information system and evaluate its contribution to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of sales data management compared to the existing manual process. The research adopts an applied system development approach using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis to understand organizational needs and existing workflow limitations. The developed system integrates ordering, transaction processing, payment management, and automated sales reporting within a single platform. The findings indicate that the system improves reporting timeliness, reduces data recording errors, enhances transaction traceability, and provides more structured access to managerial information. The implementation of the web-based system also supports better operational coordination among multiple actors and contributes to more data-driven decision-making processes in culinary MSMEs.
