Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the effectiveness of the Tilawati method in improving the reading skills of students in madrasah ibtidaiyah, despite the fact that this phenomenon has a significant impact on achieving the learning objectives of Islamic Religious Education. The objective of this research is to describe the process of applying the Tilawati method and to analyze its effectiveness in improving students' reading skills in the Al-Qur’an. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with a sample of two classes (Class III and IV) selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that the Tilawati method has been proven to enhance students' fluency and accuracy in reading the Al-Qur’an, although its implementation still faces challenges such as limited supporting media and teacher training. These findings align with the research objectives and strengthen the theory of individual classical learning that emphasizes habituation and repetitive skills. The main conclusion of this study is the importance of a structured and interactive role of the Tilawati method in reading instruction for the Al-Qur’an. The implications of this research include theoretical aspects, namely enriching the literature on Al-Qur’an learning methods, as well as practical aspects, providing recommendations for teachers and Islamic educational institutions to strengthen the training of the Tilawati method and the provision of adequate learning media. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the integration of the Tilawati method with digital technology in Al-Qur’an learning.

Abstract

Kedisiplinan merupakan hal yang penting bagi perkembangan siswa, terutama dalam urusan beribadah agar memiliki kesadaran dan konsisten dalam menjalankan ibadah. Oleh karenanya, guru Fikih diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah pada siswa baik melalui proses pembelajaran Fiqih maupun pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan yang ada di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru fiqih dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah siswa MA Nurul Fikri Kabupaten Pacitan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) guru sebagai pembimbing dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah siswa dengan memberikan tugas hafalan asmaul husna, juz amma, bimbingan tadarus Al Qur’an sesuai tajwid, makhorijul hirif, dan kaidahnya, serta pembiasaan shalat dhuha. 2) guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah siswa melalui apresiasi pencapaian siswa, memberikan reward, dan memberikan motivasi nilai-nilai kebaikan. 3) guru sebagai fasilitator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah siswa dengan memberikan lembar kontrol ibadah siswa yang meliputi ibadah shalat 5 waktu, tadarus, dan hafalan. 4) guru sebagai Evaluator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan beribadah siswa melalui kegiatan evaluasi bacaan, hafalan, dan praktek ibadah serta diberikan lembar feedback atas lembar kontrol ibadah yang telah diisi.

Abstract

The problem of the younger generation that is often discussed is the decline in moral and ethical values. The phenomenon of the loss of adab, which is the loss of identity (the identity of Islamic sciences and the identity of Muslim scientists), is a common occurrence among the young Muslim generation. In response to this, education is needed to shape students' adab. The purpose of this paper is to discuss 1) Adab education that is internalized in MI Muhammadiyah Baleharjo, 2) Internalization of Adab in MI Muhammadiyah Baleharjo, 3) Challenges of Internalization of Adab in MI Muhammadiyah Baleharjo. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection was done through observation and interviews. The results of this study include: 1) Adab internalized in MI Muhammadiyah Baleharjo includes adab in daily activities, 2) Internalization of adab is done through exemplary, habituation, storytelling, and reward and punishment by principals, teachers, and student guardians, 3) The challenge of internalizing rabbani character is the readiness of teachers to learn and patience in educating and providing good examples.

Abstract

The purposes of this study to examine the implementation, strategies, and obstacles in implementing the qawaid wa tarjamah method in learning qiroah using the durus al lughah book at Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Boarding School for the Tahfidzul Qur’an Ar Royyan Pacitan. The qawaid wa tarjamah method is a method that emphasizes understanding grammar to achieve the skills of reading, writing, and translating Arabic texts. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings reveal that the qawaid wa tarjamah method, which involves reviewing the studies, practicing the knowledge in daily life, and mentoring by teachers is considered effective in improving student ability in Arabic. Daily conversation, yaumul ilmi, and muhadhoroh also become supporting factors in improving student Arabic language skills. However, several challenges were identified in the implementation of this method, including different student abilities, students forgetting mufrodad, and limited student learning time.

Abstract

In this globalization era, the challenge for Islamic religious education in vocational schools is not only the delivery of religious material, but also how to integrate religious values into students' daily lives. The purpose of this paper is to discuss 1) Interdisciplinary of Islamic Religious Education in Schools, 2) The Implementation of Interdisciplinary Islamic Education in Schools. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation and interviews. The results of this study include: 1) The Interdisciplinary approach is a research approach in which there is a transfer of a discipline into other disciplines in solving certain problems so that it can give birth to a new discipline or new methods, 2) The interdisciplinary approach in Islamic religious education learning is believed to make it "alive" and meaningful for students.

Abstract

Reading skills (maharah qira’ah) are fundamental competencies in Arabic language education, particularly at the junior secondary level in institutions such as Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This study addresses the challenges faced by MTs 05 Kalikuning, including low student engagement, monotonous teaching methods, and a lack of interactive learning media. The purpose of this research is to identify and develop innovative teaching strategies aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of Arabic language instruction, with a specific focus on reading skills. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that integrating communicative approaches, simple digital media, and group discussion methods significantly improves student participation and comprehension of Arabic texts. This study underscores the necessity for innovation in Arabic language teaching methodologies to meet contemporary educational demands. The implications suggest that educators should adopt more creative lesson designs that prioritize comprehension and active student involvement over rote memorization, ultimately contributing to improved language acquisition outcomes.
