Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product differentiation, innovation, and traditional values on the competitive advantage of batik SMEs in Sumenep Regency, with marketing capability as a mediating variable amid global market competition. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research sample consisted of 125 batik business owners selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was validated through reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity testing. The results show that product differentiation has a significant direct effect on competitive advantage but does not significantly influence marketing capability. Innovation significantly affects both competitive advantage and marketing capability, although the direction of the effect on marketing capability is negative. Traditional values positively influence marketing capability but have a negative direct effect on competitive advantage. Marketing capability demonstrates a strong and significant positive influence on competitive advantage and effectively mediates the influence of traditional values and innovation. These findings highlight the strategic role of marketing capability in transforming internal potential into sustainable competitive advantage. The implication of this study suggests that adaptive and integrated marketing strategies are essential for aligning differentiation, innovation, and cultural values to enhance the competitiveness of batik SMEs in both domestic and global markets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini salah satu tujuan yang paling utama yaitu peningkatan sikap nasionalisme di kalangan siswa, mengingat hasil observasi siswa saling acuh terhadap temannya dalam hal ini jika di dalam kelas atau di luar kelas acuh terhadap temannya dan sulit berkolaborasi dengan baik antar teman.Nilai-nilai luhur ini harus lebih tingkatkan lagi selain pengajaran sekolah juga penting. Pada penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IX MTs Sarji Ar Rasyid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengumpulan data, dimana dalam penilaiannya dalam bentuk berupa teks, kata-kata, simbol gambar, walaupun demikian juga dapat dimungkinkan terkumpulnya data-data yang bersifat kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini kami arahkan pada pengkajian suatu kegiatan guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas dengan menggunakan kata-kata, pola dan metode dalam meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning serta hambatan-hambatan yang ditemukan dalam meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kelas dari fenomena yang cukup kompleks di kelas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah di lakukan makan dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebuah kesimpulan yaitu dengan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and discuss (1) the phenomenon of religious extremism on the campus and (2) institutional responses of the state Islamic higher education to it in the form of (3) strengthening religious moderation through the revitalization of Ma‘had al-Jami‘ah (Pesantren of University). With a case study research design and the religious moderation concept of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as a theoretical framework, this study found relatively the same facts about the phenomenon of religious extremism in the three state Islamic universities. Their institutional responses also tend to be similar; they rely on the belief that religious extremism harms the spirit of Islam’s raḥmatan li al-'ālamīn and the movement of extreme religious elements has threatened the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The biggest difference is the way the three campuses foster moderate religiosity of students through the revitalization of Ma‘had al-Jami‘ah. However, the various strengthening strategies they do are relatively in line with the strategy of strengthening religious moderation of the Ministry and therefore have productive values for the national program. These results contribute to enriching the discourse on religious extremism and can also be used as a reference for state Islamic universities in strengthening the early warning system, especially through the revitalization of Ma‘had al-Jami‘ah.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of using puzzle media in math learning on student learning outcomes at SDN 1 Mimbaan, Indonesia. The study aimed to improve students' understanding and motivation in math by applying an interactive and fun learning tool. A classroom action research method with two cycles was conducted, involving 28 grade II students. The study focused on addition and subtraction materials, using puzzle media to promote student engagement. Pre-action test results showed that 86% of students had not reached the minimum completeness criteria. However, after implementing the puzzle media, the results improved significantly in Cycle I, where 64% of students reached the completeness target. In Cycle II, 93% of students achieved completeness, exceeding the expected target. The study concluded that puzzle media effectively improved students' understanding and motivation in mathematics, making learning more interactive and fun. The research recommends the integration of puzzle media in the learning process to improve learning outcomes and student engagement in basic education.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method to examine the phenomenon of hate speech within the context of cyberdemocracy, particularly in relation to the case of Dandhy Dwi Laksono on the Facebook social media platform. A case study approach is chosen to conduct an in-depth analysis of a specific incident by taking into account the surrounding social, political, and media contexts. This method enables the researcher to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex social dynamics and digital interactions involved, including public responses to the hate speech in question. The study aims to explore the process of public opinion formation, the mechanisms of production and distribution of hate speech in digital spaces, and the role of social media as a contested arena for discourse and freedom of expression within the framework of Indonesia’s digital democracy. Thus, this research not only examines the textual aspects of hate speech but also analyzes the accompanying socio-political implications, as well as the dynamics of power and resistance within an ever-evolving cyberspace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran Humas dalam membangun citra dan cara yang ditempuh dalam mempromosikan SMP Nurul Jadid, media apa saja yang digunakan, hambatan apa saja, dan bagaimana solusi mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Informan penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah Petugas Humas, Koordinator Humas, Petugas Promosi dan Kepala Sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran humas dalam membangun citra dan mempromosikan SMP Nurul Jadid yaitu: 1) peran humas sebagai komunikator terhadap publik internal yaitu siswa, karyawan/staf, guru, dan kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui rapat resmi dan rapat koordinasi. Sedangkan publik eksternal yaitu orang tua wali murid, DU/DI, masyarakat, Depnaker dan PJTKI melalui rapat wali murid, rapat komite, kerjasama dengan DU/DI, serta kerjasama dengan Depnaker dan PJTKI, 2) peran humas sebagai pembina hubungan (relationship) yaitu menciptakan hubungan yang baik antar seluruh warga sekolah, masyarakat, DU/DI, Depnaker dan PJTKI. Hambatan humas yaitu, 1) kurangnya antusias masyarakat, 2) kurangnya kerjasama dengan instansi-instansi pemerintah, 3) Sulitnya mencari tempat prakerin, 4) terbatasnya anggaran atau dana. Upaya mengatasi hambatan yaitu: 1)  mengajak dan mengundang perwakilan masyarakat, 2) mencari dan menjalin kerjasama dengan instansi-instansi pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan prakerin, 3) menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan masyarakat, 4) sopan santun serta ramah terhadap masyarakat.
