Abstract

The digital transformation of Islamic early childhood education requires adaptive, transparent, and ethical student admission management. This study aims to analyze the management of online student admission in Islamic early childhood education within the framework of digital transformation and Islamic educational values. A qualitative case study approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and institutional documentation. Data were analyzed through Miles and Huberman’s interactive model and interpreted using Islamic management principles, including amanah, ‘adl, shidq, mas’uliyyah, and khidmah. nThe findings indicate that online admission management enhances administrative efficiency, data organization, transparency, and reporting accuracy through structured digital planning and implementation. The process includes collaborative decision-making, digital registration systems, and developmental screening mechanisms. Key challenges involve internet instability, variations in parental digital literacy, data privacy concerns, and technical overload. These challenges are addressed through guidance, assistance, and service-oriented practices aligned with Islamic ethical values. The study concludes that effective digital student admission management in Islamic early childhood education requires balancing technological innovation with ethical governance, digital competence strengthening, data protection, and continuous system evaluation to ensure equitable and transparent services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic educational resource management in shaping student character in educational institutions. Superior student character is a pressing need amidst the challenges of moral degradation and the negative influences of the digital era. Islamic educational resource management encompasses the management of teaching staff, administrative staff, students, and infrastructure integrated with Islamic values. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method at an Integrated Islamic Junior High School in Central Kalimantan. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results indicate that Islamic educational resource management plays a significant role in shaping student character through three main functions: values-based strategic planning, effective resource organization, and continuous evaluation. A novel finding of this study is the integrated model of resource management based on the educator's "Triple Role" as teacher, mentor, and role model within the local cultural context of Central Kalimantan. This research provides support for strengthening educators' spiritual competence, active parental involvement, and the wise use of technology in the management of Islamic educational resources.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) in Senior High Schools (SMA) is a strategic approach to managing teaching and administrative staff. This article aims to examine the concepts, principles, challenges, and solutions for implementing HRM in secondary education. The concept of HRM emphasizes the integration of professional competence and noble morals, thus orienting not only toward performance but also toward character development. The underlying principles include justice ('adl), trustworthiness (amanah), professionalism (itqan), and deliberation in decision-making. In practice, the implementation of HRM faces various challenges, including a poor understanding of modern management values, limited competency among teaching staff, and the influence of globalization and digitalization, which tend to shift spiritual values. Furthermore, there are still obstacles in recruitment, development, and performance evaluation systems that do not fully integrate these principles. To address these challenges, strategic solutions are needed, including strengthening Islamic values-based training, developing a work culture in schools, and implementing a management system that adapts to technological developments without abandoning Sharia principles.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia faces increasingly complex challenges of globalization, including technological disruption, global human resource competition, and demands for the integration of Islamic values with scientific advancements. This paper examines innovations in Islamic education resource management (SDPI) as an adaptive strategy to address these dynamics. Through a qualitative literature study approach with thematic content analysis, this study identifies SDPI management innovation concepts based on the maqasid sharia and digital transformation. The results indicate that key innovations include human resource development through technology-based continuous professional development, an integrative curriculum that eliminates the dichotomy between religious and general knowledge, and optimization of digital infrastructure. In the Indonesian context, particularly in Central Kalimantan, infrastructure challenges and the digital divide remain dominant, despite an increase in madrasah student access reaching 93,078 by 2025. The proposed innovation includes the “SIEM-MaqaTech” (Sustainable Islamic Education Management based on Maqasid and Technology) model that integrates spiritual values, 21st-century competencies, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. This research contributes controversially by enriching the contemporary Islamic education management framework and providing practical policy recommendations for madrasah administrators and local governments. Thus, Islamic education can remain relevant, competitive, and characterized by rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for the universe) in the era of globalization.
